@KDnotSpy
People told me so, so yeah.
Speaking of yaw, they really should fix the yaw aerodynamics. It's getting kinda annoying when you have to roll and pitch just to adjust a little bit of angle when landing.
unfortunately, you can't... Really hope there's a procedural engine somewhere in this game.
Oh wait, they exist. For props.
Still wish there was one for the jet engine...
@Korzalerke
I agree.
I'm not going to defend my pointless statement like I usually do.
Instead, here's some actual tip:
Download the aircraft that you think looks good. And once you have that in the designer, look for tricks and techniques that the creators do in their designs. For example, custom airfoils.
There are generally alot of custom airfoil techniques, such as putting a circle cornered wide fuselage on the wing, but follow what you think is the best. It's one of the reason how I can do these things.
But before getting into the details, you gotta get used to the fuselage block for a bit. Play around with it, do some slicing, make some cockpits, or frame. Then you can move on to the complicated stuff.
And then, you get to the part where you rotate and nudge your parts around. These two features are very important in designing your aircraft. Nudge lets you move parts around according to the X, Y, and Z positions. X is horizontal position, Y is vertical, and Z is front to back position.
Nudging can be done in two ways, the fine tuner way, or the basic way. Fine tuner is generally more practical, and it lets you move multiple parts at the same time, but when you don't feel like changing the value of the nudging, I suggest using the one implemented on the game.
The Fine Tuner can be activated in the "mods" section, where you'll normally found two mods, Overload, and Fine Tuner. These two are very important, so be sure to activate them. I'll get into Overload later if you're interested.
For the base nudging mechanic, first, you'll need to select a part. Done? Good. The next thing you'll see on the right side is an arrow, and a gear icon. The arrow is what you want to click on. Now you'll see more icons. But if you click the wrench-in-a-gear icon, voila! You found yourself a nice little nudge menu.
first thing and foremost:
you have to post the image on a website and copy that image's link.
second thing to do is to put this on your message:
and boom, you're done.
That my friend, is a thing you have to find out yourself. It's not really easy, complicated fictional/replica builds that costs over 300 parts usually takes 3-4 months to finish. And the realistically accurate builds take even longer to do.
I will say though, to make good creations involves how to use fuselage correctly and using blueprints.
That's the only hint I'm going to give you.
@Xx24reminder
1. Well, that's certainly a joke "gone too far". Funny to you, but not to us.
2. Oh, is it? I might not know what classifies a political statement is, but I feel like it has a high chance to be political.
Either way, you really gotta stop doing that.
I have three options.
1. Simplest. Make the "max" on the engine a higher number than 1. But this also makes your aircraft go faster.
2. Simple, and easy implementation. But it also slows the deceleration. Add "throttleResponse" to the "Engine" part of the engine xml.
2. A funky expression somebody gave to me. Easy to implement, and can make different acceleration to the deceleration. And that code is:
smooth(clamp01(Throttle), Throttle ? 1/X : 1/Y )
X being spool up time
Y being spool down time
@Xx24reminder
Well, whatever it is you shouldn't really state it in the internet... Especially in banned political argument sites. I dunno if that counts as a political statement, but you should try to not state it anywhere.
No...
No, stop. Please.
I know it's sad, but I swear to god, you guys are too attached to him, and it's getting kind of annoying. I know I also participated in the memoriam, but just, cheer up my dudes, he's not dead. Be positive.
More importantly... 31 UPVOTES!? This is madness! Okay, yeah, we don't ignore these kinds of "airplanes" when all the high quality underrated builds are just IGNORED!? This is a site about airplane game, my dudes!
I know I'm sh#tting too much, but I'm doing it because it's too ridiculous.
Either he was tired of playing SP, or he had other reasons like college, maybe.
I'd like to think positive and that he wasn't leaving, he just took a long break.
@Almost
1. Already did, check my Eurofighter. And the F-16C is in the making.
2. These low-part builds are just a side project.
3. The high part and larger size builds take a long time, 1-2 months at best.
IR stuff, please, I've been craving for this. At least an IRST and a Fox-2.
More sounds. The vanilla sounds in SP is like underwhelming. There's no sonic boom, missiles are loud as frick compared to jet engines from afar, no RWR tones except getting locked, cannon's don't have that menacing sound, and no other tones instead of the base one.
Laser guided bombs and missiles. We. Need. This.
Procedural parts. Why does SR2 gets all the fun? Not fair!
Tank tracks. Honestly not a tank fan (doesn't mean I hate it), but so many people asked and tank lovers will be delighted about this.
Reduce damage on missiles and cannons, they're kinda op now that I think about it. Also, missiles should have proxy explosion as basic so it just doesn't ram the opposition and tore them to absolute shreds. Also also, missiles at bay should not explode when it gets hit unless it directly impacts something at high speed.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, but nerf CMs. They're still overpowered.
@Amirabadi
turbojets are the engines with J at the beggining.
There is no solution into separating VTOLs, trust me. If I know there was one way, I could've put many effects on my F-16, alas I ended up using the J-15 for my gun smoke effect.
one VTOL engine is enough for it to power any vtol nozzle, and the first VTOL engine will always override the 2nd VTOL engine. Recommend using turbojets if you want the cool rocket flame thing instead.
it happens, Idk why.
Parts will sometimes detach immediately after you spawn the craft, which is odd. Happened to me a couple of days ago to the tanker.
Block only sounds nice.
A.

That's not actually the trim button... That's the yaw button since SPVR doesn't have rudder pedal access.

Nice ad

Ok cool

Uh quick update
I misspelled his user
it's actually hpgb and not gbhp
no wonder that sounds weird
@GrFrog
+1gphbproductions has the instructions, check him out.
@GorillaGuerrilla
Read the note after the rules.
@GorillaGuerrilla
About the dq, I'm not sure. But the title makes me convinced.
About the rules, please read again.
You can, but it's very laggy.
I love how it uses a turbofan engine, which makes it like 1.4x more expensive than the actual thing with turbojets.

ayy :)
+1one reason why I didn't make the cockpit prettier was to make the part counts lower.
@SOP
+1maybe you're putting it wrong.
the

.@SOP
+1Oh yeah, forgot about the decimals. They're right behind the first number.
@MontgomeryGator
Oh... You gotta press AG2 first before you fire, otherwise it's not going to fire.
@GorillaGuerrilla
Look at the rules.
I love how it mimics the original twin prop by putting the prop backwards. This is cool. Take my upvote.
+2I can't see it... Can you send me the link of the photo?
Oh nvm,
ono
+1I mean, why not?
So you see the "Altitude" input, correct? Well, add this:

Yeah.
2. No, you can't. It just does that. Its's weird tbh.

so canopies and fuselage cuttings?
Alright, give me the thing.
