Research:
- Stanelandian VTOL Lift Fan Technology Demonstrator (Frame built, currently on further testing... SP usage estimation: 2600)
Deployment:
- XV-2A maiden flight (SP usage: 630SP)
Total SPs Used:
3230/12000 (Post-Inflation, Rough Scale)
Development Update:
Aircraft has been assembled and it had undergone a maiden flight this morning. Results shows promising performances. Further flights will be conducted.
@TheCommentaryGuy
you don't really need to tell me, that successor system is still there so I'm gonna get notified either way
and also I have no absolute problem for people to modify my planes, but I do just get a little irritated when they absolutely do nothing except changing the weapons with little effort in them, especially on an aircraft I spent so long working with
it's hard to explain what I exactly wanted, but other than that, changes are welcome as long as they're major
and I already do consider the successor tag as a credit so dw about it
ya'll need an MBT?
if so, might order Solm to make one

Development Update:
The aircraft frame have been successfully built. Engine has been built, and is being delivered. (Possible mission?) Cost might overrun the estimation.

Something I made just for fun
also yes, I'm researching for a lift fan system
@JEST
tail rotor does that, don't worry about it
you can counter it with an over the top FT code so that when you roll it would retain wherever it's last position was but it will correct itself if it does an uncommanded roll
or just use Gyroscopes, they're much easier to deal with
I am going to actually answer seriously bc april fools is kinda dumb
I'm not exactly sure why this happens, but reducing the sideways traction works
you can also go into further lengths by editing the value for slipSidewaysAsymptote and slipSidewaysExtremum just so you can retain that grip which the traction gives
damn.
nice one
not to be annoying or anything, but it looks like a mash of multiple european fighters and a certain eastern fighter
and it's executed very epiquely
btw is it ok if say I use an additional engine to add some effect?
it won't affect the thrust of the aircraft, but it does something to the aircraft, like increase fuel consumption or cool afterburner effects
Please check the description! I forgot to put the tips on flying at the aircraft's manual, so please check before you ask!
@LunarEclipseSP
+1I'm not going to lmfao
@DarDragon
+1was more like I got on simpleplanes.com just as you posted

petition to ban 80mm autocannons
@Aarav
it's explained in my logs in your comment
it's buried though I assume
@Hiimakeplanes
is that even allowed?
