Ah, my apologies. This post isn’t really a reference or meant to depict a real livery or real county. The county and sheriff’s office is completely fictional, set in a non existent county on the east coast.

That is just the normal text without any formatting. The text below it is sharper and darker because it uses six hashtags (######) in front of the text.
@Sentry037 I don't quite know, but here is my understanding of it:
Performance cost is how much processing power the aircraft takes to run on your device. Higher numbers mean the craft will take more processing power and, thus, may be more laggy. Lower performance cost is better.
.
The calculation that gets the total Performance Cost number adds the cost of all the various craft parts. For example, a block has a 1.7 performance cost because it only has a few calculations related to it, like weight and drag. Alternatively, some wings cost 12.7 because of calculations like drag depending on altitude, lift changing with AOA, changing fuel quantities, and moving control surfaces affecting flight. All the parts are added to get the final performance cost number.
.
This is less important, but I have observed that the properties/variables of those parts are not included in the part's performance cost; it is a static number. So our text box containing simply the letter E shows the same performance cost as a text box with a 1.9 million character image of a catgirl or a custom Heads Up Display with hundreds of moving characters and complex calculations.
.
So basically, performance cost tells you how laggy the craft will be. A craft with 400 performance cost should run much better than a craft with 2,000 performance cost, but that craft with a cost of 400 might have a HUD and a multi-million character text image that lag it far more than the other.
Soon… @CrestelAeronautics
