@FalconGT12 yes, I figured from the first comment.
It's not really possible. Only way is to make a custom rocket pod yourself with fuselage inlets or something and use the singular unguided rockets. It's been done before so you might be able to find one already on the site.
@CarnationRED I'm not sure why that wouldn't work in the designer... Are you on Unity 5.3.6? (that is the version SP uses so try to use that to avoid conflicts). If you aren't, you can get it from the Unity Download Archive
@CarnationRED sorry I took so long to respond - you may need to attach an "ignore floating origin" script if you're putting it into the sandbox level. This stops it getting moved away from the the origin when the floating origin is moved. However I'm my experience sometimes that hasn't worked and what I had to do was add a script to constantly set the position of the canvas to where it should be as it gets moved by the game's floating origin scripts.
@BurkeEnterprise with those winds, I'm wouldn't be very optimistic about flying an airship.
For buoyancy, you need lots of volume and less mass. Volume is gonna increase area. That means drag will have a huge effect as you're light, and have lots of area. This will make it very slow. 40kph doesn't sound like much, but you're on the ground. Up as much as 100ft and that could double, depending on the terrain. You'd be floatin' downwind like a paper bag, boy. Oh, this is a really old post isn't it. How did I even get here?
@Caveman999 that's just the default length of a "permanent" ban, as it's 'long enough' I guess.
It's also around 10,000 days (27.4 years rounds down) so that's probably just a default.
@Minecraftpoweer I don't see any simpleplanes pictures on that link, probably because I'm not logged into google. It just knows you like simpleplanes, so that listing gets put higher up.
@ChicagoDude05 once you've downloaded the mod, opened it in simpleplanes to install it, enabled it in the mods section on the main menu, then go into the designer and the icon should be in the bottom left.
@Chancey21 not only is gliding a great sport but it's a way into aviation. I won't go into the details now but there are a lot of advantages over power flying.
@PlanesOfOld what platform? try deleting the mod from all places it is currently, launch SP to make sure it's gone, and redownloading. Maybe if that doesn't work try clearing your browser cache... I can't think of anything else
@GIZMOTHECAT sorry, I may have set the default size a bit big. Get Mod Settings and change the UI scale to around 1 to 1.5 depending on your preference.
@CH3COOH you can turn down the Max Simulation time to make it stop when it gets that far, or turn down the accuracy to reduce lag. Both can be changed in Mod Settings
@MasterCreeper so, you tried to open the mod in Space Agency? and it broke the file? Just re-download it then, I guess. And I don't think it's compatible, space agency probably thought it was something else...
@Chancey21 look at existing designs, sure it's in the future but people are still the same size and physics will still apply. Try and get the passenger subassembly to compare sizes at least (an average sitting person is 0.9m or 1.8 in fuselage). Try not to cover up your prop - physics still exists in the future.
Keep the wing area realistic and don't scale the wings massively.
Instead of powering up the engines to increase top speed, settle for a realistic horsepower or thrust to weight ratio and then tweak the drag (yes, using the dragscale stuff en masse is quite laborious but I will have a tool to batch edit in the future) to get realistic speeds. Because thrust and mass and wing area etc can be quantified by numbers and specs and only leaves drag to be found experimentally.
@Chancey21 search works by following links. Since the craft section isn't linked of course it won't show, and it'll be blocked off to all but devs, and that includes google
I think he might have just explained it. But the upcoming mod that I mentioned a while ago (with the ortho camera and blueprints) also has a working connection editor ingame so you won't have to worry for long.

@Legal nope. But some other people are getting it, so don't worry, it's not your fault. I don't really know whose fault it is
@Hayhayjam664 SimpleWheels was the greatest game ever created. Trailer Google Play
@BurkeEnterprise higher mass means you need higher volume. To make more volume without making it wider and less aerodynamic, it would need to be long.
@BurkeEnterprise so I guess it's gonna have to be really long then...
@RodWan look at your profile picture again, but closely.
Dude, don't use your phone at the wheel

@Chancey21 of course, because they are only busy when they are just about to release.
@HarleyBrandt did you select a part?
@Chancey21 and what type of astrology did you use to determine that?
@DualizedRain first is possible, find the missile section. Others are not, unfortunately

@Jacobdaniel you have to change
dragScale
andcalculateDrag
to modify drag.drag
is reset during drag calculations.@GIZMOTHECAT sorry, I may have set the default size a bit big. Get Mod Settings and change the UI scale to around 1 to 1.5 depending on your preference.
@AdlerSteiner dragScale and calculateDrag should work after version 1.0....
@CH3COOH you can turn down the Max Simulation time to make it stop when it gets that far, or turn down the accuracy to reduce lag. Both can be changed in Mod Settings

@grizzlitn get mod settings by hellfirekoder (linked in overload description) and lower the UI scale.
@Americancheese12 @Theron @nomadeam
@BigCheese @TheEpicMOONHAWK you need to set the input to
LandingGear
(capitals matter, no spaces)@Chancey21 look at existing designs, sure it's in the future but people are still the same size and physics will still apply. @Othawne oh.... RIP back it up first next time ;)
@Othawne Quite confused.... You say the graphics card went kaput which would imply the hard drive was fine and therefore your tank is recoverable?
@Othawne so what's that about the graphics card?
so, you got it back?
@Chancey21 search works by following links. Since the craft section isn't linked of course it won't show, and it'll be blocked off to all but devs, and that includes google
@Chancey21 ID's are random. Finding unlisteds isn't that easy you know...
@Chancey21 well they gotta test the uploading somehow haven't they?
@Chancey21 nope, its hardwired
@AndrewHamm first of all, check the end of the description. Secondly no, buy I'm currently working on something that can
@Chancey21 no idea when it'll be ready, it's kind of a bundle of designer tools all in one
I think he might have just explained it. But the upcoming mod that I mentioned a while ago (with the ortho camera and blueprints) also has a working connection editor ingame so you won't have to worry for long.
hey its sos again.
the nose wheel is inverted
not in the top gun sense tho :/

hey wait a minute, that's not what I clicked...
@23mtalbot1 @Jacobdaniel I have updated the mod, try redownloading and see if it's fixed.
@23mtalbot1 @Jacobdaniel I'm working on a fix to this bug but for the mean time the solution @Frazzled mentioned here apparently works.
@Jacobdaniel unless I'm mistaken you haven't told me what I need to fix.
@Caveman999 yes I think he realised that's why he said "Stupid Apple"
Hey @Chancey21 the website requires 1280x720 screenshots and that's a mobile bug that I've reported.
