I played around with procedural terrain a while ago. I never finished it because I moved on to other projects first. I had fairly decent speed on a PC with the terrain generating in the background. Here's some images of what it's like. Note that the biomes are quite small. They are scaled down so I don't have to spend ages flying between them across tiles to see them all. Also the mountains look pretty horrible :\
@Gestour those calculations were a theoretical maximum defined by the maxAngularVelocity field on wheels. The wheels, without modding, physically cannot spin faster than 375m/s. I'm not sure whether this is actually possible with stock parts at sea level, but I managed to work it at 33,000 feet.
@chancey21 sorry, I didn't realise what you meant! I guess you're on about the with attach points in the designer. Yes, part of the designer tools has a setting to turn them off.
Like what @CoolPeach said, designer backgrounds are often used by higher skilled players to present their designs. It's a slight correlation, but the cause-effect is the other way round.
@CursedFlames oh god... not the keyboard bug again. Thought I got rid of that ages ago. Are you on the latest version? And no, there are no mods for iOS. It's for PC/Mac (but not mac app store, only steam) and Android.
@Botfinder the thing is, there are probably lots of people out there who would be great candidates to work at jundroo (assuming jundroo was actually hiring...) but they don't waste their time making freeware mods for simpleplanes....
They would all be cool, but unfortunately the only one that exists is countermeasures.
That is: LaunchCountermeasures. Though you can't use it on a detacher :(
You shouldn't need much XML at all. Get a detacher, and attach the short end to the plane. Attach the missile to the long end and your decorative fuselage to the back attach point. You'll need to nudge them all together (the detacher goes with the missile), and you may want to use fine tuner to scale the detacher down.
@UssInvincible I don't think so. It's not designed to and I suspect that when the tanker person tries to extend the drogues they won't extend on the other player's screen
airships are more like submarines for air. They regulate their height using buoyancy
+1@TheEpicMOONHAWK have a look in the learn about modding section.
+1@CruzerBlade you can move that with the button offset setting (X axis) in mod settings
+1Also you can't assign to the result of a method xD

+1@EternalDarkness I haven't managed to die yet lol
+1SUBTLE HINT AHOY
This will make a good testbed for one of my mods.
+1It has a nice space for a screen.
Window>Lighting
+1Disable "Baked GI" and "auto"
@GlargiBoo you can make any colour you want
+1@Chancey21 I know. One tag is enough. Notifications don't just disappear...
+1It was used as a propulsion system, over 2 years ago. I didn't discover it like @EternalDarkness said, but its kinda sad I remember stuff that far back xD

Because 1 radian = circumference/radius.
+1I did just manage this without disabling drag, but I did need several miles of flat runway at 33000 feet, and a total of 2400HP...
+1@alexchub1 python.org, the python website, probably where you got python 2 from
+1adding

is the correct link.@sexylips35 Why not?
+1@sexylips35 exactly. So you can post them unlisted.
+1Here's a link if you can't find it.
+1@sexylips35 I answered that.
+1@sexylips35 1. no
2. you're still avoiding my question.
In a minute I'm going to stop talking to you, because you've already been warned by a moderator if you posts any of these again without credit.
+1By asking for a mod that already exists.
+1@sexylips35 yes, deliberately avoiding my question.
+1@sexylips35 I take it deliberately avoiding my question?
+1@sexylips35 are you deliberately avoiding my question or are you struggling with the vocabulary?
+1Hmm, while I'm here, do you have any idea why there's a spam filter on discord? I can't figure it out....
+1@chancey21 yep, that's what I said in the second comment!
+1@chancey21 sorry, I didn't realise what you meant! I guess you're on about the with attach points in the designer. Yes, part of the designer tools has a setting to turn them off.
+1@sexylips35 yes? You found someone capable of running a portable script that was given to them practically on a plate. The relevance is....?
+1@chancey21 could you perhaps elaborate on what deserves to be called that or are you just here to cause annoyance?
+1@BACconcordepilot you were quick. I hadn't finished the tags yet.
+1The sad thing is that's a replica of an American plane which we don't use.... :(
+1Yes! I've been waiting for a vulcan for ages!
+1@BogdanX they deserve it, the scumbags. Running away? How discourteous!
+1@EliteArsenals24 did you mean that the other way around?
+1Nice one. Mods are cool, but stock solutions are always better.
+1and a lot of corruption. Right now, even though "trading upvotes" is against the rules, it happens a lot.
+1you know what you must do.
+1Like what @CoolPeach said, designer backgrounds are often used by higher skilled players to present their designs. It's a slight correlation, but the cause-effect is the other way round.
+1@RailfanEthan that would lock the whole control surface. He just wants to lock the trim.

+1It seems to be ordered by the part's distance from the main cockpit on the x axis...

+1@Pilotmario I'll tell you who's right, it's the people who made the god damn language in the first place. It's also the person that made this mod.
+1I don't think that's space. The high-detail heightmaps of cities are normally taken from a light aircraft with LIDAR equipment.
+1@UssInvincible I don't think so. It's not designed to and I suspect that when the tanker person tries to extend the drogues they won't extend on the other player's screen
+1Not an SR-71, but definitely a blackbird! I like your build style
