The sound of the engines almost mask the sound of the gun, very cleaver. Also this plane is able to do rudder stall acrobatics ! Congrats

  • Replicas or Fiction? 6.1 years ago

Replicas with orthographic mods are so much easier, the " in control" thing rings as an excuse for the lack of innovation. If a replica, please for the love of god pick something uncommon. How many more spitfires and su-27 are we going to see? This comment is not belugasub, (do not give me wrong) it goes for the majority of SP users. Pick a subject from a historic flight or a prototype , make a post related to motorsport and even build realistic planes to interpenetrate laws of physics. How many of the users know why the planes picth up while they accelerate? Do a post for that and bind it with the mathematical type.

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@jamesPLANESii Still the olny futuristic noir film, but it would be ugly to live in a world where there will be no airplanes in the way we know them.

  • Tactical Tadpole. 6.1 years ago

@Captbadass You have done it well, many details sometimes spoil the general set. The program is called a SIMPLE-planes . ;-)
Good work in calibarating the gyro, fine balance between control and strength.

  • Tactical Tadpole. 6.1 years ago

Hey I missed this! Nice, a proposition for another model is to set the rotation of the engines in the vertical axis with VTOL. I believe that is easier this way. Keep up the good work

  • Ultralight Challenge! CLOSED! 6.1 years ago

Small obervation, you say "You will be able to use XML, but only if your aircraft is under 1000 lbs". If we are able to use XML, the first thing that most of the con-tester will do is that they "zero" weight parts of the aircraft, so the 1000 lbs limit is without purpose. I also think that the dead line is short...

  • Kruger P-52 Merlin 6.1 years ago

@YourWife Do not worry is still a very good plane. It would be even better if it was original - which I think you can do. :-)

  • Kruger P-52 Merlin 6.1 years ago

@Theantsaretakingover This is inspired from Star citizen?

  • Kruger P-52 Merlin 6.1 years ago

@YourWife Do not worry, I always pay attention to talents. I promise a sincere feedback and I expect the same :-) What are you planning for the next build?

  • Kruger P-52 Merlin 6.1 years ago

Just tested it, fantastic job in the custom landing gears, perfect fit. I have not remember seeing this plan any ware else, if you inspired from somewhere you did great job, if you imagined it yourself you deserve double congrats . All the construction is steady and easy to fly, perhaps little nose heavy but great in general. In my slow PC I usually prefer slower roll rate because it lags in "heaver" builds. Anyway I think that is for sure a build from a talented designer and I expect much more in the next airplane. Worth downloading and saved in every personal collection . Keep up the good work

  • Xanthus 6.1 years ago

@Nobie Nope . Did you like it?

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@Mcllulen no it is not your mobile device. Sadlly the drone is very light and the gyro is simply very strong for it. Keep in mind that the drone is playing also a role to spinners stability. I bevieve that i will figure out a solution in a future version. Happy flights

  • Ultralight trike 6.1 years ago

Oh dude, it is not bad ! It can actually fly better than most ultralights that i have seen in SP. And only with 50 parts... Good CoM , very nice try to make a funcional cockpit at your level ! I will vote and spotlight, keep up the great work

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@Mcllulen Yes the drone is controlled with the VTOL slider on your left, up gives more power so go easy. After you can direct it (sort of ) like a chopper . "w" tilts foreword "s" back and so on...
How did you like the rest of the Spinner?

  • Paper Thin 6.1 years ago

Ok you have my vote for sharing the aircraft. Welcome to the world of SP. Now let's talk for the plane. It's well balanced and it can actually fly, so good job there. The control surfaces (C.S) are little unproductive, usually on the main wings near the fuselage we make "CS" that control pitch (up and down) movement and in the outside of the wing usually we make "CS" for the roll movement. This is because of the forces that are applied in the wing in roll, are more beneficial with smaller surface farther from the main body. Keep up the good work and keep building stuff.

  • Shortest Plane Challenge-Flying Wing 6.1 years ago

Thank you, it's strange that it got votes, it had almost the same downloads as another project I had made today, only "Spinner NG" had close to 500 parts. Wonderful competition, much harder than the world imagines because of the imbalance of the short body. Is it allowed if I put non-functional pieces such as stickers, to zero wheight them with mods ?@iwannabeelected

@TakicraftCorporation Fantastic screenshots, I think I will include the second one. I didn't had a night shot

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@TakicraftCorporation That's the real beauty of the futuristic movie, that it is not apparent. In the first movie in one scene we see Harrison Ford to have the same look in his eyes as Rachel. It's a movie which has more meanings every time you see it. Also has fantastic artwork.

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@TakicraftCorporation oh yes ! Line from the original blade runner movie in 1982. Nice to see a fan . What did you think , Deckard was human or replica ?

  • Spinner-NG 6.1 years ago

@BlackhattAircraft I do not think it will be that good, but thanks :-)

    @Carbonfox1 Thanks first upvote !

  • Shortest Plane Challenge-Flying Wing 6.1 years ago

@Chancey21 LOL. You do not need it to fly, right? If it was a helicopter rotor, then it would. Nice observation though! :-)
