Auto Credit Based on iwannabeelected's The Shortest Plane Challenge (Thank You for 10k!) (CLOSED!)

This plan is for the shortest airplane contest, the rules required not to use any XTL mod. So this construction is somewhat raw, since proper weighing is very critical when the center of gravity is very close to the center of lift. I tried some solutions that most were much more attractive and original, but the rule of taking off and landing unassised eliminated most. This flying wing is impressively steady for its simple construction, there are fewer than 20 parts in it and I think it could be functional even without the wheels. It glides pretty well thanks to its large wings and its jet engines allowing speed up to 400Mph.

General Characteristics

  • Wing Loading 19.6lbs/ft2 (95.8kg/m2)
  • Wing Area 135.2ft2 (12.6m2)
  • Drag Points 1423

Parts

  • Number of Parts 14
  • Control Surfaces 5

@Viper3000ad thank you! It's a little tricky one, yes. And no, sorry, no Overload allowed even for decorations. I'll make sure to check your other build later!

Thank you, it's strange that it got votes, it had almost the same downloads as another project I had made today, only "Spinner NG" had close to 500 parts. Wonderful competition, much harder than the world imagines because of the imbalance of the short body. Is it allowed if I put non-functional pieces such as stickers, to zero wheight them with mods ?@iwannabeelected

Hmmmm.... I guess I'll make a flying wing for the challenge
Also, it's XML. XML is the file extension for the Aircraft Files

@Chancey21 LOL. You do not need it to fly, right? If it was a helicopter rotor, then it would. Nice observation though! :-)

Doesn’t the parachute count for length?
