i know it's been one month since the last comment on this post, but does this load the audio on the other person's folder so it works for other people?
i am 99% sure you will have to log in using your simpleplanes.com account, meaning that if you wanna play with other people you will need to have an account.
on the main question, i think the usernames will be directly linked to your SP username, with no way of changing your display name ingame.
i saw this video on yt and thought it was some AI music because it only had like 500 views
then this post made me realize that this is the official SP2 soundtrack.
