@asteroidbook345 there is a global RPM limit for everything except for rotators that actively spin things. The wheel drive linked below actually goes faster than the limit, though not very much above
@asteroidbook345 using linear actuators might work for swashplate movement as they are not wobbly, and you can just use car wheels to spin the rotor. (Wheels have traction on other parts now, here is an example)
I have figured out how to make a linear actuator act like a suspension spring and a piston at the same time, allowing for landing gear designs like this to be easily built
Tired of pistons being annoying? Tired of the connections on pistons being wobbly? Well I have the solution! The LINEAR ACTUATOR! using witchcraft I still can't seem to replicate no matter how hard I try, I made a control base go in and out instead of around and around. Use like a normal piston.
.
(To be real though, I have no clue how I got this to work, I pressed the undo button and the control base I was using started acting like this. I will appreciate it if someone manages to reverse engineer how this works)
.
Here it is: the LINEAR ACTUATOR.
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP its in the aircraftdesigns folder in the simpleplanes file, in steam, go to your library and right click on the game, click properties, then click local files, then click browse
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP click the dropdown that you would remove the post with, then click update XML, then grab the XML file for the build and upload it
@alexJgameYTukraine @baconaircraft.
do not randonmly tag people on a build.
@GrFrog it seems to have caught a case of autoroll
[Edit, apparently the autoroll is my fault, scaling the wings to 0 did something weird]
If you want to make a hyperlink, do something like this:
It will appear like this:
Link text
@Stanmich nope
Plane built by SsKyCoSs
Link
Modified by me
No gyroscopes are present in this plane
Attach the gun to a joystick base, then attatch a joystick to the gun.
Go to the helpful links forum post and click on simplecheats 2. Its a document of xml properties for every single part in the game
Im making a system like this too, heres the code if you are interested.
Activate1 ? (Yaw/2) : (Yaw = 0 ? (TAS < 5 ? 0 : clamp(AngleOfSlip/85,-0.75,0.75)) : (Yaw >0 ? (Yaw/2)-(clamp(TAS/correction, 0, 0.5)) + (TAS < 5 ? 0 : clamp(AngleOfSlip/85,-0.75,0.75)) : (Yaw/2)+(clamp(TAS/correction, 0, 0.5)) + (TAS < 5 ? 0 : clamp(AngleOfSlip/85,-0.75,0.75))))
Make a variable called
correctionand set it to 700..
The way i went about doing it is less elegant but i mean it works.
Forgot to put hiderims in simplecheats, thanks for the reminder
Yes but you cant have multiple parts connected to a single attachment point in SR2. It drives me nuts whenever i try to build anything
Gave me a good chuckle
@FairFireFlight oh, i got a notification for one lmao
Wolfenstein 3d is coming, i can feel it.
@Dracul0Anderson it was already under PropellorType, prehaps you misread?
To my knowledge, only andrew can add and remove points
@Brendorkus adding the VR tag adds the plane to a list of stuff to be curated. I plan on curating later today
I think my SP christmas carols are better...
Do not reupload builds without edits
@Pophead this doesnt use cheats

Follow me so i can very occasionally increase your unread jet stream number
Looks awesome! If i had any sort of animation skill, i would do something similar with the Amtek logo
@goboygo1 41,667
@PlaneFlightX ping me on the build and I will send it to the whole team. I'm on vacation rn so I can't curate at the moment

The track looks nice and wide, it will be fun to see how my tournament cars will run on it
Watch your language
As far as I know, they don't care as long as you don't try to make a profit off of it. PlanariaLab is using models from SP in VRChat
I have figured out how to make a linear actuator act like a suspension spring and a piston at the same time, allowing for landing gear designs like this to be easily built

@SpiritusRaptor wormwithlegs explained it better than I cam

Here it is: the LINEAR ACTUATOR.
I see you tried to make this VR compatible, but you put the steering wheel on a rotator instead of a control base
Set activation group to (Activate5&PitchAngle<60)|(Activate5&PitchAngle>90)
I have tested it, it does work
Pinned a comment I need to add to simplecheats
@MrShenanigansSP if it is above the chair, it physically cannot be below the chair at the same time, as that would cause a paradox
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP its in the aircraftdesigns folder in the simpleplanes file, in steam, go to your library and right click on the game, click properties, then click local files, then click browse

@BestBuilderEverNOCAP you can update the XML
Heyo, I'm robloxweponco
@XiliamXD to be honest I didn't expect you to build the dinosaur anyways
@rexzion no, it's signed by me, as I'm the one responsible for printing them and giving them to people
I didn't notice you were platinum lol, congrats. Your Okthxbye permit should arrive in the mail soon
Vote concluded: paint job 4 wins
(Though I like 3 better so I might release this as a combo pack)
Not sure if it's the final teaser yet, I still have some stuff I need to tune on it
