@CursedFlames
If the input is set to LG it will open or close as you have programmed it to, all the inputs have a on / off type input feature. I tried the reverse brake and did not notice much difference than regular brake..

In most cases the design, decision and directive comes from many levels above the painter / applicator actually performing the work. Also, what many people ( citizens outside the aerospace industry ) don't know is that much of the work performed is outsourced to 3rd parties which complete the work as directed and typically do not deviate from the contract. So, when stuff like this happens its not always the guy doing the work but more likely the management tree above them.

You will find when you get older the illusion that people in decision making positions usually dont utilize their brains during the coarse of daily operations. We have a saying at my job “ to get promoted you have to be a moron or a idiot “ because all members of management are absolutely stupid. So its easy for me to understand how stuff like that up there happens.
in the future, i would suggest modding the rotator input to “landinggear” so that can be a automatic step when raising the the gear. I will test out the reverse thrust and get back with you. I honestly didnt notice it when i tested it. @klm747klm747
Here is some constructive criticism and advice to help you in the future...
1- Test your build out prior to uploading, make sure all the added features work properly. When I tested the rear gear doors are stuck down and it has a auto roll issue. Also, it seemed to me all the controls could be better thought out...i/e - flaps and such
2- Make your plane look more presentable in the pictures. Use the high quality setting when taking your picks. Use a better color scheme...i/e the windows are black, use the popular mirror like color which is R-162 G-231 B-255 S-1 M-1 on my last build for example.
3- Download and tear apart some popular users builds. See how they built stuff and the methods used. This is how a lot of ios users get useful parts also.
4- Ask for help, this community is overloaded with brainiacs that are chomping at the bit to show off their supreme talents.
TY bud! Although I think the “ease of maneuver points” are lower than I would give I am obviosly biased but I do think this entry flew better than the entries I was able to test out on my ipad but im grateful for 3rd place though. Wouldnt be possible without you helping me learn to mod parts :-) @JohnnyBoythePilot
enjoy school! before u know it you will be overworked like the rest of us robots. If only i could go back to high school....i would have quite a bit more fun :-D
nice looking heli, just my opinion but I think it would fly better overall if you adjusted the gyro and put the yaw back to normal its inverted. other than that i think its a great heli! nice job
i would love to see you try it out. Ive been testing a lot of different things out trying to get away from the "boxy" cargo look and its been really difficult.@SledDriver
Flies really well and I love the design! I also like the multi stage afterburners..have you thought about doing a cargo plane? with a usable cargo bay?
i think there are many problems... i added a rear stabilizer and balanced out the engines so theyre on CoM, its important for vtol crafts to have the thrust aligned with the CoM...also, i think you have too many rotators doing too much with VERY heavy engines. the gyro can take care of yaw , roll and pitch. i would remove all but the VTOL rotators and leave the above controls to the gyro...also lower the weight of the engines. when you pitch 6000 lbs its going to effect the craft...
looks amazing!
+1what is a american beaver?
congrats bud!

Nice Job! Nice use of sleds module. be sure to test out before upload as a part falls off the engine area when map loads. Still great job!

Interview for what?
Flies really well and I love the design! I also like the multi stage afterburners..have you thought about doing a cargo plane? with a usable cargo bay?
i would never do that.... :-0 lol, ill re-work it and upload unlisted so you can see what u think. @breitling
