Bristol Blenheim Mk V

By far the uglier of the Blenheim sisters - the Mk5. Modified rather heavily from the Mk4 I built a while back. These alterations include;

Mk 5 nose clumsily attempted in all its asymmetric ungainliness.
de-linked bomb bays from VTOL, just press AG2 to raise lower bomb doors
Unrealistic buried jet engine removed with realistic max chat not compromised.
Increase bomb load and can now be dropped as a whole by pressing AG3
Tail features much improved
Turret has been upgraded to fit the series however I was unable/unwilling to replicate the “trough like” feature the turret sits on in the Mk5.

In regards to point two above, did you know the bomb doors were held together with bungee cord and the weight of the released bombs would force them open? Hence the system could be a little wayward in terms of accuracy as the opening of the doors would require sufficient weight of bombs sitting on them to be forced open!

I hadn’t really planned to do a Mk5 but the knowledge I had done the more notable Mks 1&4 kind of left the series incomplete, so with a touch of OCD I knew at some point it should be done! T5, out for now!
