  • The "Croak" method: How to turn the site against you! 7.4 years ago

    Tully im a fairly new person here have the Devs ever thought abt instituting a age requirement? Seems like there is a lot of kitty crap that goes on here. I am a old fogey and its embarrassing seeing some of the crap. I dont mean to incite im just curious. Thank You @Tully2001

  • F-5E Tiger II 7.4 years ago

    im not sure, the 35 is a difficult plane to build, the body lines are very unique. if i could make a suggestion maybe open the challenge up to “ make your own vtol plane or the 35 is way over budget “ build a economical replacement “ something like that. its just my opinion but it seems that open challenges tend to garner more attention and the ones that are closed in on a particular plane dont get as much. ill be in if u change it to a vtol plane, but the 35 is a tough one@greasytortle

  • F-5E Tiger II 7.4 years ago

    beautiful job! im still in awe of how you accomplished the f35 rear engine, quite ingenious! ive never tried to build a 35 because the engine is so difficult to replicate but you nailed it!

    ahhh ok, i was just curious, i noticed from your comments that you have a great deal of knowledge but no uploads. i meant no offense i was honestly just curious as most users are anxious to upload stuff. have a good day @Kaos

  • VTV-1 Thrust Vectoring Engine 7.4 years ago

    TY Bud! you inspire me with every wonderful build you come up with! A suggestion was made in the comments about the roll input for vectoring, if you find a way to implement that i think people would appreciate it. I specifically chose not to include it because i have had bad luck in the past when i incorporated roll the rotators grinded together. Im anxious to see what you come up with....as usual :D

  • VTV-1 Thrust Vectoring Engine 7.4 years ago

    TY for the upvote @SSSvaSSa and for the other one on my tilt rotor, i had to reupload it after you upvoted because i forgot to put the fuel tanks in.... :-(

  • VTV-1 Thrust Vectoring Engine 7.4 years ago

    TY bud, no it does not have roll features included, people can modify these to suit their needs. I would suggest changing the inputs of 1 rotator to roll but dont forget to invert the opposite side. @Homemadeforthepros

    BTW....your WOW video was hilarious :D@JohnnyBoythePilot

  • VX-50 7.4 years ago

    TY Johnny! Coming from you that means a LOT! You are a superior builder in my eyes so i appreciate it. I have discovered when i try to do a detailed build it puts my ipad to its limits. Like this one i wasnt even able to test it much in the end on high physics because it was like a old video game in slow motion. I really need to migrate to pc but i havent had much time these days. The lag is the reason i didnt add any other weapons also. Oh well ill work with what i have for now. The thing on top is like a radar / iff module, Some of the c130s at my base have them, some do not, the pilots told me its for AEW ( airborne early warning ) systems. Some like the E2C have a massive rotating ( rotodoms ) and some have much weaker pods like this. As far as i am aware antennas and transponders are stored inside with other goodies. I like to give credit for parts i use, i only use parts from certain people though, u, bogdan and elitearsenals, off the top of my head all the modded beacons i use come from you as well as alot of my vtol stuff in most builds. Thanks again i appreciate u testing it out and giving feedback which i still need to do for u on your last build :D@JohnnyBoythePilot

  • XF-39 Stinger 7.4 years ago

    I dont see why not? Many of the planes entered will not look like the 35 but you may want to run the question by the challenge poster. I cant make a realistic 35 i know that :D @danman12

  • XF-39 Stinger 7.4 years ago

    yes, but make sure your plane is a successor to his challenge if you want to enter it. i just thought your plane has features that would work well with those parts anyways@danman12

  • XF-39 Stinger 7.4 years ago

    try to add THIS to your plane for the challenge.

    beautiful!

  • Edge VTOL 7.4 years ago

    TY Johnny! Believe it or not this build was really difficult, all the nudging and sizing of everything. plus, the entire plane is built around the custom lift fan so that made everything more challenging. TY again for the vote buddy

  • V-57 Autocannon 7.4 years ago

    1st, thank you for accepting it without the successor status, im sorry i had to reupload it causing the error.
    2nd, thank you for the fair review, i think adding the back story and other items you mentioned is a very good idea.
    Lastly, thank you for doing this challenge i think its going to be a fun one and thank you for the upvote.

    @CaesiciusPlanes

  • V-57 Autocannon 7.4 years ago

    EliteArsenals24 built the reticle portion of scope which is made from 2 VTOL RC Nozzles nudged together with a camera nudged behind them. They are all attached to a small structure fuselage tube. I took the above assembly and nudged it inside the square looking optic. Thanks for checking out the build if u like thid kind of stuff look at elitearsenals24 profile, he builds some amazing stuff
    @CK10

  • V-57 Autocannon 7.4 years ago

    EDIT SORRY I MISPELLED YOUR NAME WHEN I TAGGED YOU YESTERDAY

    Weapon Challenge I hope they approve this not being a successor, ( although i did not see a requirement for that ) ,the initial upload was corrupted so when i reuploaded it it lost the successor status. you should do a challenge also, you have a great reputation for excellent and intuitive builds.
