Wow thank you very much! I feel this was a better build than my defiant yet scored less than half of its points. Maybe it was the camo job everyone liked.... I really wanted folding wings and maybe a ‘Royal Navy’ or two down the side but it was coming close to crunch time and I kinda said I’d enter into another challenge mid build that was a little ambitious of me. However like the firebrand challenge entry it gave me the impetus to improve some past builds. Thanks again old boy, thoroughly enjoyed the challenge! @Mustang51

  • Miles Mercury 5.3 years ago

Bronze user!! I’ve seen a lot worse from someone who’s achieved gold! This is really neat for a 2nd build. There are a few bugbears but you’ll iron them out in time!

That interface has always been a pain. On iPad I write it out in notes or any others wordish and copy/paste it in after it’s posted as mentioned below.

Should have just left it with a single Lewis gun. Didn’t that tip wing gun have a mount rail so it could be taken down for reloading? Not critiquing I think this is a great build! @F4f879

  • Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a 5.4 years ago

You mean prop blades? I kinda thought that was the only rationale for having pusher planes it negated that problem! @Zanedavid

You’ve always been good at capturing an aircrafts shape so bravo once again! I think you need to work on the handling though as it handles like an RC plane.

  • Fairey Rotodyne Gyrodyne 5.4 years ago

Oh no need to apologise, this build is fantastic! Right up my street! @ACEPILOT109

  • Lun-class Ekranoplan 5.4 years ago

I was under the impression users have dried up thanks to SR2, however someone posted the Millennium falcon and got 140+ In relatively quick fashion so there are users still out there. Maybe they’re just spending less time on site, I.e. looking at what’s featured only. Or maybe as this post isn’t a Mig/p-57(get it) - it just wont get the attention deserved which it is sadly lacking. Maybe I am just being Scrooge. Bah humbug! @TheFantasticTyphoon

  • AV8B Harrier 5.4 years ago

No worries. You’ll need to look at the bit where it speaks gobldlygook about disablingaircraftcollisions and setting the corresponding tab to the opposite. Lower case true/false I can’t remember tbh. Im rather new to these antics myself. @SanderAircraftProductions

  • Avion Hawke 5.4 years ago

I certainly raised an eyebrow when I saw the ‘iOS’ on created on by. Good stuff. This is a nice biplane to start off with. I’d use the fine tuner and all the other mods built into the game to polish things up a bit. Roundels can be nudged into the wing to make the more flush with the wing.

  • Avion Thunderhawk 5.4 years ago

Don’t you just love it when someone comments and can’t be arsed to support something...... welcome to the site, nice promising stuff!

  • AV8B Harrier 5.4 years ago

Very good, all the more so for being made by someone who is bronze!! I’d disable collisions on all LG parts and they will tuck into the fuselage parts - easily done these days thanks to 1.9!

  • B’BURN B.46 “Firebrand” TF Mk.5 (‘45-‘50 NAC) 5.4 years ago

Yeah this and the firecrest were pretty slick looking aircraft - shame they entered service too late to be of any real use in a time when even 1st/2nd generation jets had a mere few years of service until being outdated. @teodor99
