  • Takswagen Gazella K-1 1.2 years ago

@Ownedpilot Dude, just wow... This is the most detailed and acceptable review what I ever seen about my builds. To be honest, I'm a bit shocked by your review on the suspension geometry (no pun intended).
The first issue you mentioned is maybe caused when you put up the rear chassis part, that's not really a big deal, cos fuselage parts like to stick together in odd ways.
However, I don't really have nothing against the overcomplicated and poor geometry. Alltrough I never had issues on vanilla tracks, please note that I haven't touch the game for years, and I clearly had issues while building the frame, seems like my knowledge is a bit outdated, or I never used to the high physics, since my previous PC was a potato. Also the fact that I can now build brakes makes the whole process sightly more complicated.

Poor excuses aside, this is an issue to be considered in the future, and I really want to step up a level in mechanical elements as well. So if you may send me your Gazella, I gladly test it again, and compare your setup with the stock ones.

@Planebuilder2123 It's seems hard to keep up with the updates, for example the last two had a huge inpact on my build style, cos we suddenly started to have glas panels and wheels, and that felt like all my previous models went outdated just like that. Also what was 1 week to build before, it's at least 3 now, cos I build more and more detailed. However the way I see self progress is somewhat faster, players don't necessary need years to start getting good, if they can manage to follow up the new updates quickly.

@DatRoadTrainGuy19 Dunno... I have a few plans and blueprints but those are mostly unique cars. There will be no other Tw model series, i cannot really come out with new stuffs. I have only one copletely new TW model in the sketchbook, that would be some kind of a last ditch petrol sport car, with FWD setup and a new V6, but since all my sub-assemblies are pretty much lost, i don't know if i ever want to build it...

@Chopper18 Sorry for my long response time, i have few time to deal with the game and the site nowadays.

Anyway, followers are not about the popularity and success. Gainig followers is like getting a group, a sub community where you usually check, and try eachothers build and more possibly enter challenges making co-projects and so on. This is not necessary, but this can make the game even better for you.
Once again this is just my opinion, and i see i am not in charge to tell you what to do or not here.

  • Bodies 4.1 years ago

It's a bit hard to explain this, but i'll try:
First you gonna need fuselage blocks to start. You can use the block's 'add fuselage' ability to make a nice chain and build continously. You also not limited by the basic width and height numbers, you can enter custom numbers as well, to form a perfect end for the block. You can also adjust the block's angle ratio. If you mix these abilities correctly you can manage to make a nice body shape for your cars. I recommend you to just try out what you can do with a fuselage block. Take one and check the setups, pull the sliders write in numbers, etc... If you still need some answers check out my car building guide that you can find here

  • Help with helicopters 4.1 years ago

Try to inspect the basic in-game helicopter, to see how you should set up the rotors. Center of mass is important as well. You should be aware to the secondary rotor's direction, and power to get the aircraft balanced. First try out a contra rotating (KA-26-like) design, to learn more about the handling
