@FLOWRIDER0 Because the minimum amount of characters required in a username when signing up is 4. For whatever reason, username changes seem to disregard this.
what if i was a child hmmm around 9 or so and i came to make a account on simpleplanes?
You would be banned because the website Terms Of Use (which you have read) specifically mentions that you must be 13 years of age or older in order to use this site and its services.
I'm not sure if this post is satire or not but the word "suck" is not sexually suggestive unless you make it so. If I say "You suck" that basically just means you're bad.
A lot of stuff, but I'll give some specifics: TOOL
Pretty much anything by Mick Gordon
Martin O'Donnell
Toby Fox
John Powell (specifically the soundtracks for all three How to Train Your Dragon movies)
Hans Zimmer The Call of Duty Zombies easter egg songs
There's more but we'd be here all day if I listed all of it
No, it's only possible with mods. We briefly discussed the possibility of adding contributer support to craft posts when Andrew added it to solar system/celestial body posts on SimpleRockets.com, but most of us (including Andrew) agreed that it wouldn't be a good idea and could easily be abused.
@RamboJutter @Strikefighter04 You raise a good point, so let me clarify: The rule specifically mentions that you can't have misleading thumbnails. An image of an anime girl can, for all intents and purposes, be considered the same as something like text. It should be pretty clear that said text/anime anime girl is not part of the build. Now, if they were trying to claim that the image of the anime girl is somehow in the build when it isn't, then it would be grounds for removal.
While I personally do not see the point of putting an anime girl into the thumbnail of, say, an F-15 build; there is nothing in our rules preventing people from doing so, as long as the build as it appears in-game is clearly visible in the thumbnail. Please do not harass people that do this as it just creates a needlessly hostile environment.
.
Additionally, I would like to confirm that using a 3D rendering of your craft in the thumbnail instead of an in-game screenshot is not allowed and if you are caught doing that your build will be removed and you may be issued a strike. Same goes for editing the screenshot to add things like exhaust that are not present in the actual build. An exception to these rules is challenge thumbnails.
Using an alt to evade a ban is grounds for a permanent ban on the alt and possibly extension of the ban on your main account, regardless of what site the ban occured on.
Your post has been removed as one of the original creators of this diagram has reported it. This was their report:
Legit is our diagram. (CCC, consists of me and a bunch of golds and plats). If they are gonna do something, dont just snatch it from us because we spent hard effort in the creation of our plane and for them to just do that is piss taking. "..and I'm not sorry" as he says
Please get permission before using someone else's work.
@Wallaby @BuiltBionixInd10 I'm aware of the actual intent of this post, but the "I'm a toddler" part could easily go poorly for you in some other places. @Numbers I know about that, yes. There are some actual instances of that happening but I struggle to think of names off the top of my head.
Blocking a moderator doesn't actually do anything other than slightly inconvenience them due to the fact they no longer get notifications when you tag them. Being able to report us makes sense.
Sorry you've had a poor experience with the community. If you want, you can tag a moderator on a post with a bad comments section and we can disable the comments on it.
@KnightOfRen No, I won't give any strikes. As I said, this isn't an official rule or anything, I would just prefer it if you didn't do stuff like this.
Do you guys have to snoop on everything we do? I mean I get being curious and all but I personally would prefer it if you didn't make posts with links to users' ban pages. This isn't like an official moderator crackdown statement or anything so do what you want, but just keep that in mind.
I don't see a revamp happening. Implementing SR2's physics and parts into SP would take tremendous effort. However, they haven't abandoned SP so updates may still happen, albeit less often.
If you feel you are being treated unfairly by another user (Bogdan, for example) please report it instead of trying to take matters into your own hands.
@asteroidbook345 I see I have misunderstood your remark about the grow a pair bit. I was unaware he had made his own comment. In any case, calling out specific users in a forum post is not tolerated here.
FYI, the "grow a pair" remark was completely my own doing, as was the rest of that comment. Bogdan had nothing to do with it. Also, I removed this post due to posts of this nature being against the rules.
@asteroidbook345 For the record, I'd like to say that @Clory is correct, and he would know that because he's a moderator on the SR2 site, which has the exact same moderation tools. We cannot restore a deleted user's account; only Andrew can. We also cannot see an account's private information beyond basic IP-sharing logs. Please do not spread misinformation.
@FLOWRIDER0 Because the minimum amount of characters required in a username when signing up is 4. For whatever reason, username changes seem to disregard this.
In addition to this, the website has been updated to prevent users with 0 points from reporting posts. Some moderator stuff was also added.
@FLOWRIDER0 It was changed back as single-character usernames are subject for removal.
+1@joeysellers Oh hey. How are you these days?
Personally I'd like to see Blood Gulch. Pretty small for this kind of game, but I think it would be cool for land vehicles.
+1While you're here, check out Flyout. It's an upcoming aircraft building game.
+3@jamesPLANESii We cannot.
+1No. You may change your username to something else upon 30 days passing, and if you want to change your profile picture now you may do so.
@LastManStanding The Terms Of Use have always said that you must be at least 13, because it legally has to.
You would be banned because the website Terms Of Use (which you have read) specifically mentions that you must be 13 years of age or older in order to use this site and its services.
You do realize I'm not a moderator on that server, right?
@NexusGaming Next time, don't look at Urban Dictionary for definitions. It is a place of satire.
+6I'm not sure if this post is satire or not but the word "suck" is not sexually suggestive unless you make it so. If I say "You suck" that basically just means you're bad.
+1@Stickman Mass tagging is still mass tagging, regardless of if it is to get people to upvote a post.
+2Ask the moderators and we can write one for you, free of charge. Just look at this happy customer!
+3I've probably seen those legs in my nightmares somewhere

@BRC21yt No, it does not mean you can use mods on iOS. You can do XML editing now, yes, but you can't use anything from the mods page.

@WarHawk95 As long as it isn't a naked person it should be fine. Again, we'll just have to wait and see how things turn out.
@RamboJutter
I'm honestly not sure. Anything NSFW/suggestive or otherwise violates the rules is definitely a no-no, though. We'll just have to see how things go.
+6@RamboJutter @Strikefighter04 You raise a good point, so let me clarify: The rule specifically mentions that you can't have misleading thumbnails. +17.

@FeiWu hi. you guys should really stop giving this thing attention or else I might have to make something half-decent to upvote instead

+12@Pita I see. So then what makes this a hellscape? Some of the people here are unpleasant but all in all I don't see how it's a hellscape.
@Pita If this site is what you call a hellscape then I worry what the rest of the internet is to you
@Pita None of the people that made this diagram are part of the "SPMC mafia" you speak of.

@KnightOfRen yeah my attempt at flexing on everyone didn't really work the way I wanted lol
Oh right this post is a thing.
for the record I have no clue who featured this
+19@Wallaby @BuiltBionixInd10 I'm aware of the actual intent of this post, but the "I'm a toddler" part could easily go poorly for you in some other places. @Numbers I know about that, yes. There are some actual instances of that happening but I struggle to think of names off the top of my head.
+7@KnightOfRen If by "bypass blocks" you mean we're still able to comment on the posts of someone who blocked us, then yes.
Blocking a moderator doesn't actually do anything other than slightly inconvenience them due to the fact they no longer get notifications when you tag them. Being able to report us makes sense.
+1Joking about this is probably not the best idea considering we legally can't have people that are under 13 on here
+24you didn't know this?
also bonus fact: it's called Jundroo because that's a nickname people used to call Andrew
+7Closest you can do is removing all of your posts and reuploading them as unlisted.
Sorry you've had a poor experience with the community. If you want, you can tag a moderator on a post with a bad comments section and we can disable the comments on it.

you people are so insistent on upvoting these old planes and i hate it
Want to find out first-hand?
+3i'm glad henry stickmin memes are making a comeback but cmon man you can do better than a "freegifmaker.me" watermark

+6Ah yes, SimplePlanes on a gaming console.
