@Sockdragger i've used these engines for almost a year now
(BTW that plane isn't worth downloading by my current standards)
and i didn't know shocks were such a rarity, but thanks!
@SilverStar me too, idk
with some testing i did notice it always seems to tilt like 2 degrees when spawning in for some reason, but afterwards it feels completely balanced
@SilverStar I updated the XML with the spoilers fixed, but i've never seen an issue with the suspension? they seem to be the same with the same connections on both sides, i'm not sure what could cause an issue there
@dbqp 1. this is a Sandboxgame called Simpleplanes so i can do whatever i want
2. I'd have had to put quite a lot of extra weight infront of the front seat which is unnecessary here and would have reduced visibility
@dbqp 90 kilograms in each seat is still very flyable, not even that noseheavy-feeling
did you even test it?!?
.
also IRL the center of lift would be a bit more in the front, reducing the lever effect even more
@dbqp what exactly do you think is the problem then? because for me (and 32 others) it looks completely fine
if it's the "hollow" design, all aircraft look like that but this one just doesn't have them covered with an aerodynamic surface because it's fast enough as it is.
If the balance "looks off", think again. the wings might be providing lift a bit too far back but nobody except you seems to care.
I do think i understand the principles of designing such aircraft, and i don't understand why you commented this on what i think is my most realistic build so far. also there much weirder planes in real life, this one is basically the same design
if you as an average rock didn't melt in the hot lower atmosphere, you'd probably float around 60'000-90'000km below the cloudtops, where the atmospheric density is about 2.7g/cm² (like an average granite rock)
norwegian here, build the flag in your bio on the tallest flagpole in the world (current WR is 201m) just to piss off your fellow americans
or i guess if that's too risky just make the normal flag
my plane has over 10'000 wings. consider yourself beaten.
+1oh my god he's summoned the ultimate demon boss
+1can i use an existing build?
+1(of the ones I created of course)
@LJh1 thanks
+1@PlaneFlightX i feel stupid now for even asking
+1ah yes, flying my S-160 at like 20 meters over the ocean at 3000 kph, that's what I consider test flying in this game
+1@Solent19 yay it works (:
+1test
another test
cool
i love building either STOL planes or private jets
also why can i not get any of my newer builds curated?!?
magic
put a tail fin with a "liftScale" of a lot on the back and make sure it's balanced
i'd like to be able to actually look at this website, so dark mode all the way
if there were tilt controls i'd probably actually buy it
Alright you asked for it
@WaterFlavouredSpitfires you're at 10000 points now!

@Cuboidable ):
great. the guy straight up deleted his comments. now my onesided conversation looks weird as hell.

This is so much better than this one in every way, go download and upvote that one
@NTH i didn't know people got that excited over my builds, thanks!
@SPWithLizzie idk
i wanted to make a joke with "Bellend" but that's probably slightly inapproproate
Norway
je suis fatigué comme d'habitude
Hallå
when has andrew ever upvoted a plane without curating it?!?
Boating in a random southern english sea channel i guess
Real.
.
If this doesn't become a reality i'll take a stab at creating my first mod

@YarisHatchback oh my fucking god it's a miracle!
looks like a german stovetop-apple

@THEROCKMAN1 damn if you're a rock on jupiter you're f*cked
svensker asså...
well hi dwayne
how would you feel about another organisation building a base on phobos?
@Cuboidable damn how can anyone afford a fast spinny wheely mouse thingy?
my mouse is from an old laptop and is probably at least 20 years old
what the fu- kind of autoscroller are you using to generate 1.5 KILOWATTS
T
americans will use anything but the metric system
@SunnyFromWOF hallå
anyways i'm an idiot that looked at @Schmoovebrain's bio
@Rob119 wait hold up i looked at the wrong guy's bio, i meant the pride flag

i mean, this is my favourite plane i've made, idk what it's supposed to describe
i guess it's a sea strait in england but..?
