@EasternAviation2015 after a not so thorough examination, i have concluded that no TU160 can take a hit without 500 stacked tires on the wings producing so much drag the thrust is cut in half due to aerodynamic performance issues

Its primary role is as a strategic missile carrier, capable of carrying various types of nuclear and conventional weapons Originally designed to carry and drop nuclear ordnance, the Tu-160 has an impressive payload. Its two bomb bays are capable of carrying 88,000 pounds between them. In modern use, it primarily sees work launching cruise missiles from standoff distances, to that end, it can be equipped with a rotary launcher. In its final form, the Tu-160 looked strikingly similar to the B-1, but the two aircraft have significant differences. Although both have a crew of four, the Tu-160 is much larger, with more than double the wing area and almost twice the thrust of its American counterpart.
