oh my god this is amazing, there's just a bug with the autopilot;
when you set the altitude to between 12000 and 23000, and speed to above 230 knots IAS, the plane will start wobbling up and down, on all physics settings. If the speed goes above 280 knots, the wobbling will be so strong that the horizontal stabilisers start to break off.
This only happpens with the autopilot on though, in manual flight it has no problems with going past 340 knots.
and to put an image on a post you'll just do
if you mean the thumbnail you can import your image (all three put on the same file, maybe done with this ) as a blueprint and just take the screenshots from that
@NTH you might be able to use something like this to make a pseudo-camera view but it won't be live, just an image. You could also make a fake-screen with blades from fuselages and put the blades on a rotator and set the input to "current angle" from one of the actual rotators on the windmills.
@Type2volkswagen search for "newest", set ?d=2800 and &p=[a random number] until you get to the end of the list
.
i don't think you can search by "oldest" or search for a specific year, you could ask Andrew to implement it
if it says something about "lever 3" or something like that you just need to update to the latest version (1.12.206 i think)
and you're probably still on 1.12.128
you know, i think i saw a plane similar to that one in an aviation museum once, i think it's lightly based off a... checks notes "supermarine spitfire", can't remember having heard that name
if it just can't take off at the speed you want, you can move the COM backwards
if it's supposed to go faster, either remove some drag, OR, set the propeller HP very low and put a weightless jet engine where the prop is
you can make silent jets by setting the input in overload to something like "Throttle/100" and the power multiplier to 100

@LunarEclipseSP well if it's called "first plane", then yes, but you can only ride that wave for so long.
+1this is some advanced simpleplanes 2 sh*t
+1Wait, a 737-300 with winglets?
+1yes i do love bright pink onions
+1oh, i see, you've built a fully functional microwave in simpleplanes!
+1if the windmill thing is too complicated i might be able to make it if you send me an unlisted post of it
+1and to put an image on a post you'll just do

+1@thatsjustmidofficial yeah i had to literally delete my aircraft folder to get SP to not crash on startup again
+1What an unfortunate day to have eyes.

@Rb2h thanks!

+1@jamesPLANESii i made you one
+1@Graingy is it better now? i spent way too long for a 2% difference
+1after all, why not?
+1@griges oh yeah no i didn't make that, see "Parts i "borrowed" from other planes"
+1@griges well yes of course, as long as you give credit
+1also i've just put parts from more skilled funky trees programmers than me together
@FaLLin1 but sure, here you go
+1because even low physics isn't a problem for the autopilot
+1oh also the autopilot is in meters, just because that's easier, maybe that's the problem
+1signed

+1yeah i have like 800 subassemblies because i save everything before because i'm scared more of this happening than the duolingo owl taking me
+1That looks like a nightmare to fly

2 with the instruments of 6
+1i mean if the thing blows up the cockpit/flight computer part does fly, no matter what
+1@Graingy at first i read royal danes 💀
+1[insert norwegian joke about danes]
i wonder how many notifications that old account has
+1anyways here's another one:
@jamesPLANES
congrats lol
+1@foury about an hour before commenting that it was fine i reloaded the page
+1it worked for me
+1there are AI planes, you can find them with radar
+1i wanted a plane building game but ksp is for rockets, so i just googled "plane building games"

+1"publishing"
+1you can't just reupload a plane without making any changes
