    @FlyingThings Nice and shiny, isn't it?

  • Hortense 8.5 years ago

    @dootdootbananabus But what about HL3?

  • Hortense 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @ThatTotalRando

  • Hortense 8.5 years ago

    @Leonelarminrocks7 Magic.... Well, not really, see my profile for the answer.

  • Tutorial - BombCannon 8.5 years ago

    @SlowJet It's normal to think everyone's taking your ideas, but I made a railgun over two months ago. And that was based on @ElGatoVolador's Howitzer.

  • Tutorial - BombCannon 8.5 years ago

    @vincentwwwwww I see. This tutorial's not for you then.

  • Tutorial - BombCannon 8.5 years ago

    @vincentwwwwww OK, which parts are you having trouble with?

  • Tutorial - BombCannon 8.5 years ago

    @Fjorge Well, let's let them find that out for themselves.

  • Tantalus 8.5 years ago

    @ForeverPie Thanks.

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    @NoName101 I still don't get it.

  • Beowulf 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 Here's how.

  • Beowulf 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @FGW2014

  • BAC-190 Phoenix 8.5 years ago

    Nice. You might want to add some large vertical stabilizers because it tends to yaw randomly a little. And some more fuel on the plane itself - it runs out very quickly.

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Ephwurd

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    @LiamW The developers should build something like that into the in-game editor, where people can draw outlines using Bezier curves, and the editor fills them in with fuselage blocks. We would really see some interesting planes then.

  • Crossbow 8.5 years ago

    @grizzlitn Yours are pretty good too

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    @LiamW No, not at all. If I had to adjust 649 parts individually it wouldn't be worth my time. I generate the entire shapes (wings, engines, etc) in one go using scripts I wrote.

    So this isn't 649 parts I put together, it's one subassembly for the wings, one for the engine nozzles, one for the engine intakes, and one for the vertical stabilizers. Then I add wings, engines, weapons, etc. So it's less than 40 "parts" total.

  • Crossbow 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @grizzlitn

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    @LiamW Usually between 1 and 2 hours.

  • Spectre 8.5 years ago

    @LiamW @bjac0 Thanks.

  • Apollo CSM 8.5 years ago

    @BaconRoll Houston, we have... a railgun. Why do we have a railgun, Houston?

  • Crossbow 8.5 years ago

    @harveyrobinson8 Nice build, but what's with the color?

  • Crossbow 8.5 years ago

    @NoName101 Well I am a Sled driver after all...

  • Crossbow 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @NoName101

  • Continuing With Flying Wings! 8.5 years ago

    @EpicPigster1 No problem. SimplePlanes makes it very easy to make pretty much anything fly well as long as you follow some basic principles. Someone needs to put together a tutorial on how to make planes that fly well.

  • Fighting Fish 8.5 years ago

    I've been asked that a bunch of times, so I just posted the answer on my profile. @Gabojobs

  • Tantalus 8.5 years ago

    And that's why I recommend that everyone should learn to program computers at least a little @Gabojobs

  • Hawkeye-C repaint 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Visify

  • Flying Saucer 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Gabojobs

  • Hawkeye-C repaint 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 It's the load on the plane's wings per unit area. I.e., if a plane weighs 10,000 kilos and has a wing area of 100 square metres, the wing loading is 100 kilos per square metre. Lower wing loading makes for better maneuverability, while high wing loading makes for planes that travel fast in a straight line, but are hard to turn.

  • Tantalus 8.5 years ago

    @Awsomur Thanks, that's exactly the idea.

  • Tantalus 8.5 years ago

    @BlueCobraCreations A little math, a little scripting.

  • Tantalus 8.5 years ago

    @FGW2014 Thank you. It is a flying wing, after all :)

  • Apollo CSM 8.5 years ago

    @Treadmill103 We've got a railgun instead...

  • Apollo CSM 8.5 years ago

    @BaconRoll I bet their top scientists are poring over the XML for this build as we speak.

  • Sentinel 8.5 years ago

    @MrAspy We can try, although I barely have the time to build my own ideas. Do you have any designs in mind?

  • Sentinel 8.5 years ago

    @MrAspy Yep

  • Apollo CSM 8.5 years ago

    Glad you like it, @GINGER01

  • Sentinel 8.5 years ago

    Thanks @MrAspy, it's very good to hear that. Your builds are very unique and high-quality too.

  • Raven 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @ploptro7

  • Mimic 8.5 years ago

    Fair enough @Ian1231100

  • Mimic 8.5 years ago

    For your next one, let's make it fly perfectly, shall we?

  • Mimic 8.5 years ago

    Very unique. I'm flattered.

  • Horten Ho 292 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 No problem

  • Horten Ho 292 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 Sure, why not?

  • Horten Ho 292 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 Just download it and start working on it. When you upload your version, it will automatically be recognised as a successor.

  • Horten Ho 292 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 I think the only other semi-replicas I've made are the F-16 Viper and the SR-71 Blackbird.

  • Horten Ho 292 8.5 years ago

    @Panzer828 Personally, I appreciate the skill and effort that goes into accurate replicas, but I don't really care about making them. I'd rather make something original, or something that looks similar to an existing plane, but performs much better, like this one.
