@ThatKindaWeeb From what I know, the J-16 is newer and is produced by China whereas the Su-30MKK was produced by Russia and exported to China. The J-16 also carries Chinese missiles rather than Russian ones.
Another small thing, the MKK has the horizontal-tip vertical fins while the J-16 has the angled ones seen on most Su-27 variants.
@TwoTurboMan I thought about doing that, but since it would require a lot of upkeep, I wouldn't want to do it if not a lot of people were interested. I might make a forum post and see what people think.

That being said though, the full loadout doesn't affect the speed as much as the other aircraft since there's no drop tanks, just missiles.

Afterburners are relatively easy, it's the same as before but with a slight difference
You need a BFE300 for the engine and a BFE150 for the afterburner.
For the BFE300, look up the engine power you need in kN. You are looking for thrust without afterburner, it's typically called "dry" (ex. 75 kN thrust dry). Divide it by 300 and that's the BFE300 engine power you'll use.
Now, for the BFE150, look up the engine power with afterburner in kN, typically called "wet" (ex. 100 kN thrust wet). What we need to do is find how much thrust the afterburner adds to the dry thrust, so subtract the thrust wet from the thrust dry (ex. 100-75=25 kN). Take this number and divide it by 150 and that's your BFE150 engine power. For FT, something like clamp01(Throttle>.95) should suffice, but you have some freedom here with what you use.
For both of these, I'd make the exhaustScale=0 and use another BFE300 scaled to be small (scale=0.25,0.25,0.25 or 0.1,0.1,0.1 should be good) and with a large exhaustScale value, say =10,10,10, for the flame (change as needed. This is better than the VTOL nozzles since you get independent control over each afterburner if you have multiple. Make sure this one has the same FT as the BFE150.
Best advice I can give is start small
Dont focus on trying to do custom gears and bays, fancy funky trees, and an accurate flight model and all that on your first couple builds Just get an airframe out
It might be ugly but you still learn from that experience. We all have to start somewhere

I know it's their reserve fighter, but I am surprised that squadron still uses Su-27's, especially since its alongside Raptors. Granted, since that's carrying AIM-9X's, I'm assuming that isn't a regular Soviet Su-27S
@ThatKindaWeeb With nukes, it's a bit of a guessing game. The B43 on my F-104 has explosionScale=70, but do recognize that SP explosionScale scales linearly whereas real life TNT equivalent does not. I'd probably go no bigger than 150 or 200.

Each engine in SP has a listed power in newtons (ex. BFE150 has 150,000 N of thrust). Divide this number by 1,000 to get that in kilonewtons (ex. 150,000 N = 150 KN).
Then get the real life engine power (ex. 75 KN) and divide it by the SP engine's power in KN (ex. 75/150=0.5). The number you get is what you should set the powerMultiplier to.
Afterburners change things a bit, but this should be good for a Meteor

I believe it has to do with the way the fuselage mesh is modeled. It is not always consistent even if mirrored and its especially noticeable when you cut it. It's worst when the corners of the front and back don't match (ex. front is circular and back is hard) or the front and back are significantly different sizes.

I kinda gave up on the NF-104A since I can't find a way to make the rocket behave like a rocket. It's a jet engine in game, but because of that, it loses thrust with altitude.
I did just do some more browsing on the forums though; apparemtly more inlets might help so I'll try that
