@AdlerSteiner well if that's the worst you can pick up... I can slope the canopy sides no problem, the rear section is more difficult.

  • Hawker Hurricane mkIIc 1.4 7.1 years ago

@AdlerSteiner what rear canopy? And slanted how?

  • Hawker Hurricane mkIIc 1.4 7.1 years ago

@88blaroo mby, but I'll have to remove the camo, the cockpit and probably the control surfaces, so don't know if it would be worth it. What's the max parts you need for it to be mobile friendly?

  • Hawker Hurricane mkIIc 1.4 7.1 years ago

@Tang0five @RailfanEthan Thanks guys, couldn't have done it without you :)

  • Hawker Hurricane mkIIc 1.4 7.1 years ago

@BaconRoll Thanks, amazed that I got here, thanks for the upvotes.

  • SBD Hawker Hunting Hound mkIVb 2.0 7.1 years ago

@MintLynx I might at some point.

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@QwQ2333 Yeah, have a look at the comments below, I've fixed it.

  • SBD Hawker Hunting Hound mkIVb 2.0 7.1 years ago

@EternalDarkness @KSPFSXandSP EternalDarkness was correct, the small wings are intentional, the artist drew it without any outboard wings as it was based on a concept of electric anti-grav units in the rear of the engine pods. I added the stubbywings to put the roundels etc.

  • SBD Hawker Hunting Hound mkIVb 2.0 7.1 years ago

@Tang0five Thanks again, funny that I've done this but have never built an actual hurricane... hmm... guess what's next ;)

  • SBD Hawker Hunting Hound mkIVb 2.0 7.1 years ago

    @RichardFazbear thanks.

  • SBD Hawker Hunting Hound mkIVb 2.0 7.1 years ago

    @CRJ900Pilot @BaconRoll @RailfanEthan @Awsomur @Tully2001 Thanks again guys, appreciated as always wot wot ;)

  • Tabor 1.9 7.1 years ago

@CRJ900Pilot @Tully2001 @Awsomur Thanks for the comments and to @tang0five for letting me play with his build, he pulled off some amazing things considering the limitations of ipads.

  • Tarrant Tabor 7.1 years ago

@Tang0five Ive been thinking, as im a bit bored of making things from scratch at the moment, would you mind if i tinker with this? Obviously if im happy with the outcome i can re-post and you will get the credit etc. If not no worries though =)

  • SBD Hawker Hound 2.2 7.1 years ago

@SkylineAero nah it's a bit boring to be fair, and I can only find a side view. Thanks for the request though.

  • SBD Hawker Hound 2.2 7.1 years ago

@Type2volkswagen lol, your addition of the modded glass looks amazing (Why isn't this in the base game?) I learnt a while ago not to use mods on published things as people don't want to use them (Vickers machine gun etc). 23 followers will soon increase :)

  • SBD Hawker Hound 2.2 7.1 years ago

@Type2volkswagen I still don't understand why the spotlights are so limited, there's been a few times when I have wanted to spotlight someone amazing plane and couldn't because they had more points than me....

  • Tarrant Tabor 7.1 years ago

@Tang0five if i get bored I still load this up just to look at the detail you managed while using an iPad... I struggle with wires and stanchions while using a pc (And a dose of mod magic). Epic and easily worth more upvotes.

@jamesPLANESii damn, ah well thanks for letting me know the cause.

  • SBD Hawker Hound 2.2 7.1 years ago

@Mostly @CRJ900Pilot @Valiant2017 Thanks for the comments, yeah definitely a resemblance to pod racers, I thought it was similar in places to a dh88 as well.

  • SBD Hawker Hound 2.2 7.1 years ago

@Tully2001 you mean with the windscreen? If so how else could I do it as I can't find any transparent bits and the plain frame just looks wrong? Open to suggestions though ( I originally mounted the cockpit on the screen but didn't think that was any better)

  • B229A 2.4 Small-Brown-Dog 7.1 years ago

@Datom a BIG bomber based on someones artwork and the basis of an alternative reality where antigrav was real =)

  • B229A 2.4 Small-Brown-Dog 7.1 years ago

@Type2volkswagen well ive done it and posted it, https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/vRW8CU/SBD-Hawker-Hound-2-2

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@jamesPLANESii Ah, so that's what does that, now you also know I make mistakes and use keyboard shortcuts to fix em :) any way of getting blueprints working again?

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@jamesPLANESii how do you know that???

  • B229A 2.4 Small-Brown-Dog 7.1 years ago

  • small-brown-dog ME 626 1.6 7.1 years ago

@CRJ900Pilot thanks, Im enjoying building them, I have made 1 more but im not massively impressed with it, debating whether to post or not.

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@WNP78 yeah I've fixed the front wheel retract, needs 125degrees not 150 (which I haven't the foggiest how this figure got there), the slow steering is intentional to stop tank slappers etc while fast taxing. Sorry for not fixing front wheel before posting though, I didn't notice it quick enough :)

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@CarsonG1017 Thanks, it was by far the hardest part, the sketches give clues as to movement etc but that's it, the drawings also have them fully hidden with shaped doors but that was above my ability.

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@Notvarysimpleplanes the lift comes from the small wings, look at the German natter etc, I don't understand the rest of your question, sorry

  • Supermarine Type 300 (small-brown-dog)1.7 7.1 years ago

@Mumpsy there we quite a few different images for it some of which where ultra realistic. I'm in awe of their skills. Sorry I beat you to it though...

@MintLynx Wow, ty, have you seen the posts from Small-Brown-dog? Awesome.

  • Jimbowyrick1 1.6 7.1 years ago

  • Jimbowyrick1 1.6 7.1 years ago

@Treadmill103 @mustang51 thanks peeps, glad you like it.

  • Jimbowyrick1 1.6 7.1 years ago

@MintLynx yep, if you know of any other awesome aircraft artists let me know as I'm running low on inspiration.

  • Jimbowyrick1 1.6 7.1 years ago

@EternalDarkness it is rather, just needs the aerials for the nightfighter :)

  • B-57B Canberra 7.1 years ago

@Thespirtusraptorfan not really, a good percentage of the parts count is taken up by the camo and bomb bay, try one of the predecessors maybe. Sorry

  • Cutangus Jul2017 1.2 7.1 years ago

@Type2volkswagen I did comment on one of his posts to let him know but havent had a response. Nice alterations btw.

  • Cutangus Jul2017 1.2 7.1 years ago

@Kerbango cool plane, I built a replica of the cutangus twin ducted fan design a while ago, his designs are awesome.

  • B-57B Canberra 7.1 years ago

@ChiChiWerx Thanks, glad you liked it.

  • B-57B Canberra 7.2 years ago

@TimeTraveler the fuselage was made to measure using scaled down panels all fixed together and then rotated at certain angles to make a circle (7.5° first then 22.5° then 37.5° etc). I did post a 3x3 duct for someone that shows how it's done and can be converted for a fuselage section if required.
