@Sunnyskies as man it's an awesome bit if kit, I've stood near them as they thunder down a runway and watched documentaries showing how they bosses the yanks at red flag etc, designed for a purpose that they fulfilled perfectly. Plus with all those pivoting, rotating and turning bits it's ideal for this game :)

Glad you like it, I enjoyed building it but as you can imagine with so many moving bits I'm a bit frazzled (I so wish the game wouldn't randomly attach parts, I'm working on the airbrake so why has the nose stopped working... ). My builds are super Awesome (apart from when they arnt), people vote for what they like, not necessarily how good they are, my most upvotes plane (and downloaded) was one of my earliest, I've made much better since, but heho that's what happens. It can be demotivating (and don't forget platinum users don't get spotlights either) but I just build for fun, that's what the game is about, upvotes etc are just an added bonus.
@Tang0five yeah man, I'm English and interested in aircraft both historical and experimental, one of my first builds on here was a sea fury (I didn't post it cos it was rubbish) I then built the typhoon, next thing I know you build a super tempest. Every time you build something it reminds me of a manufacturer / designer that's worth consideration for future builds :)
@denialofservice erm it wasn't intended for votes or as an example of exemplary craftsmanship, it was me helping someone out... that was it. Is that wrong or something?
yawn, a bit of politeness goes a long way, do as Deathtrap says, download someones, see how they do it and then build your own, its a simple as using a rotator with it on landing gear and -1 changed to 0, then add your shapes.
@KerlonceauxIndustries ive only ever used them when i want something to hover, i find they reduce the handling by damping it, but im no expert on them.
@KerlonceauxIndustries i didnt do anything with the engines other than give them more power, mby reduce the power or check if collisions is disabled, if you want more manoeveablilty increase the movement of the control surfaces, pylon racers where not massively manoverable anyway.

@KerlonceauxIndustries try this. I changed the wing sections for fuselage panels and hid some small wings where necessary. feel free to use the shrunk bits etc ive added into this.
@Tully2001 lol so as soon as I become black I'm not eligible for features? I would have thought builds by all levels would be a better advert for the game but nvm, ill just build as always.
@Kerbango it does seem a bit strange though as rank doesn't matter surely? Everyone should be treated the same, it's a tool to intentavise people to greater builds....

@Awsomur @Minecraftpoweer ah K, thanks for clearing that up, I only got featured a couple of times on some early builds but nothing for ages so I did wonder if it was something I was doing wrong. Anyway, chocks away building time is being wasted.
@CenturiVonKikie fair enough, with using those hollow fuselage sections I end up manually mirroring parts rather than mirror one half over (if I don't it duplicates panels and deletes any rotator on the centre line) so it's probably that. Cheers though.
@EternalDarkness thanks, I still havnt got to the bottom of the roll, when I'm playing and flying using my joystick this has more roll than my other builds... trailing edges / aerofoil sections arnt a problem, I've been doing them since my su22 unless the post was a rebuild of an older plane.

@CenturiVonKikie the roll happened prior to me moving the cockpit or scaling it, it didn't change after I altered it, nice try though :) I don't know if sbd is aware of my builds but thanks for the comments and upvotes.
@EternalDarkness thanks, it's a rehash of one of my early designs hence the trailing edges, no autoroll when I'm flying (or very little anyway) is there a different physics setting or something?
@CenturiVonKikie you are not wrong, my fist comments to the chap who pointed this out to me was exactly the same as your comment =) I think ill do a re-build with some cannards, what do you recon, like a p40 tailplane or more like a standard eurofighter canard?

@TheGuyYouMightKnow i sort of finished it, i ran out of time/motivation to do much more, I did start to camo it the same as the website pictures you sent me but it was taking too much time... enjoy anyway.

Mby cos it's called simple planes and that's a car, and cars are boring even if they are well built.

@Tang0five theres nothing mediocre about it, you build on a tablet, your builds are excellent.

It's usually a wing hadnt attached when copied over. Or not copied over at all (x-ray mod is useful for finding stuff like that)

+1They are probs in front of centre of lift and thus acting as canards, just change them to be decorative instead of lifting surfaces
