  • German WW2 SC500 bomb 6.7 years ago

@Type2volkswagen warmer, it was designed by a German called Richard Vogt, try again :)

  • German WW2 SC500 bomb 6.7 years ago

@JettStorm yeah I twigged that after I posted it.... ooops

  • WW2 british unguided rocket. 6.7 years ago

@TimeTraveler I did tell him that but apparently " all of the parts look like uh", I suppose 18parts could be confusing. Thanks though.

  • German WW2 SC500 bomb 6.7 years ago

@TimeTraveler thanks, glad you liked it, ps you just got me my 50k :)

  • Boulton Paul P100 5.0 6.7 years ago

@EternalDarkness your name is coming up with a funny red mod box instead of your usual platinum badge, you done something wrong? Congrats I think (please don't ban me ;) )

  • German WW2 SC500 bomb 6.7 years ago

@ASDFASDF1 works fine here, its a boom50 inside so it should have the same explosion power as it has, mby you can improve it?

  • German WW2 SC500 bomb 6.7 years ago

@CRJ900Pilot lol, not quite, think experimental.

@LACONNE was this decided? It's the 20th August now :)

  • Is Featured Function broken? [Please MOD help!] 6.7 years ago

@worldplanes features don't work on demand, some of my better (in my opinion) builds didn't get featured when other builds did, it's personal preference, it happens. Ps now I'm platinum we don't even get that chance as there's a policy not to feature our builds :)

It's always better to take the photos from closer in so you can see the plane.

@Rodrigo110 thanks for the info, im glad it works, saves me having to delete the more interesting bits.

  • WW2 british unguided rocket. 6.7 years ago

@ASDFASDF1 why? Surely you can remove the pylon if you don't want it?

  • Boulton Paul P100 5.3 Mobile friendly (hopefully) 6.7 years ago

@MaxToTheVolt ok, does it just not load or what? i can delete the engine and undercarriage to save another 100 parts ish

  • WW2 british unguided rocket. 6.7 years ago

    @Irobert55 here you go.

  • Boulton Paul P100 5.0 6.7 years ago

@horatio well ive made a mobile version here if you want to try it for me.

  • Boulton Paul P100 5.0 6.7 years ago

@Tang0five yeah I thought it was appropriate, I wanted to get closer but at 3fps I was struggling :) I'm making a cut down version of this to see if I can make it mobile friendly but it's still 600parts...

  • Sk-133 Mk.IV D 6.7 years ago

It looks very similar to the hawkers p1216 with a propeller mixed with sled driver and his no colour philosophy :)

    +1
  • Hawker Siddeley P1214 4.5 6.7 years ago

@MethaManAircraft yeah I used most of that, the fellow with the model made it up as he went along I think, there was also a plastic kit made the same way, no drawings I found had dimensions or sections or anything like that. 100 points are doable but not worth it for a build that looks like hitting 20 upvotes... Yeah sure send over whatever you want aerodynamic design in this game is frustrating

  • Hawker Siddeley P1214 4.5 6.7 years ago

@MethaManAircraft Lol, I was struggling, I built the did first but then the shape of the wings wouldn't work so then I built the wings and Hodges the two together before pretty much redesigning the fus, the position of the engines meant nose going up with power and nose heavy without, the airintake and engine pod should be faired together but that would have added an extra 100 parts etc.

  • .gifs not showing everywhere on mobile 6.7 years ago

Oh look imgur hosted file doesn't work. Read some of the other posts, imgur links don't work without tweaking (from memory you have to remove the s from https but don't quote me) use discord instead

  • FineTuner Scaling 6.7 years ago

Oh and the mass and drag change as well so engine power is affected.

    +1
  • FineTuner Scaling 6.7 years ago

It's the wings, scaling does nothing to the lift, scale them down they still produce 1 lift etc. I add my actual wings once it's all built and scaled to size.

  • Hawker Siddeley P1214 4.5 6.7 years ago

@MethaManAircraft thanks, they are an absolute pain to build though arnt they.

  • Hawker Siddeley P1214 4.5 6.7 years ago

@Tang0five thanks, you got in first =) woot. Ive been having fun flying this one, its not as fast top speed as the 1216 but its really controllable in the hover.

  • Bogdan Kamikaze 2! Daimler Benz Type C with Type E piloted bombs 1.2 6.8 years ago

@RussianAS Lol, I'm assuming you read the bit where it says piloted missiles etc. Plus there's no reattachment mechanism. Hope you enjoyed it anyway.

  • Bogdan Kamikaze! Challenge - Yokosuka MXY7-K1 Ohka 6.8 years ago

@Minecraftpoweer cool, I just didn't want to upset someone for the sake of not asking, id read a post from eternal on how to do it but just hadnt bothered until your build inspired me. Cheers.

  • futuristic kamikaze aircraft 6.8 years ago

@AnoniMosu I thought it was small Brown dog? I hope you asked him as he had a bit of a spat with me about using his designs.

  • SD-1500 6.8 years ago

I'm amazed, how does that all add up to 39 parts? There looks to be at least 24 fan blades plus about the same in triangles to the rear.... magic I say.

  • Bogdan Kamikaze! Challenge - Yokosuka MXY7-K1 Ohka 6.8 years ago

@Minecraftpoweer are you still going ahead with that unguided missile idea? I havnt seen you post it yet? Would you object if I did something similar from a German perspective (Daimler Benz type c with type e bombs) I'll mention that you have the inspiration for how to control the piloted bombs.

  • Bogdan Kamikaze! Challenge - Yokosuka MXY7-K1 Ohka 6.8 years ago

    @Chancey21 I heard that, unfortunately i already had :)

  • SNEB MATRA 155 rocket pod. 6.8 years ago

@WarHawk95 not yet, it's the star that s the problem. I'll play with it again later

  • SNEB MATRA 155 rocket pod. 6.8 years ago

@WarHawk95 thanks, I didn't know those existed as normally I just build planes.

  • Hawker Siddeley P1216 7.78VTOL re-colour 6.8 years ago

@denialofservice And? I never said they where the same plane, its not unusual to use a different planes scheme (the RAF did it a few years back with the WW2 eurofighter etc.)

  • Hawker Siddeley P1216 7.78VTOL re-colour 6.8 years ago

@denialofservice I know its a hawk... so why confused?

  • SNEB MATRA 155 rocket pod. 6.8 years ago

@GhostHTX thanks, when you mount it the detacher is not set up to detach just to fix the pylon and rocket together, remove it and use your own pylon if you want them to be removable in flight :)

@Tang0five I've got some time off work at present hence some time to build things :) the Mrs is usually understanding and tends to be playing on her phone nowadays anyway!

  • Tips on building techniques with fuselage blocks? 6.8 years ago

Wow big question. Try not to use parts with a thickness less than 0.05 as the game will default to this min thickness if you alter something and not let you change it back, use intakes for trailing edges as you can add angle which lets you form a twisted part that you can't do with a fus, set a fus to use as a template with 0 mass and drag (drag = false) and collisions disabled, barring all that try to make things at a size that is easy to work with then scale it up or down THEN add the actual wing bits etc (if you do it before, when you scale it flight characteristics will alter).

  • English Electric P42 1.1 6.8 years ago

@Tang0five is this one worth revisiting? Add loads more detail, a fictitious scheme and some external ordinance?

  • Cutangus Interceptor RAF 6.8 years ago

@KerlonceauxIndustries I might when I get a chance. What r u thinking, just enlarged so fus becomes body or a twin with the bombracks between, or something else?

  • 1950-1960 Dogfight Tournament 6.8 years ago
