There's a few options for missiles that will not show a target a "WARNING" text, but as far as I know, all of these solutions still show a target the "LOCKED" text.
This aircraft has two GBU-16 Paveway II bombs that can lock on to a target instantly without emitting a smoke trail. The bombs can be launched without line of sight with the target which can allow for a much safer attack profile. Targets are only notified once the bomb is released.
This bomb works by having a cannon part and missile part having the same name. The cannon has priority to be fired, so it will not attempt to lock until the FireWeapons button is pressed.
I've edited these missiles in the video to be able to target both air and ground by setting the missile and cannon's function to MultiRole.
The bombs are extremely temperamental to reverse engineer and may require some funky trees knowledge to set up.
This is also the same tech that I used on my NI-18 Dove. The missiles that I created for the Dove was inspired by the nuclear weapons featured on Thecatbaron's SNB-28A-Cutlass
The problem with these is that they still emit smoke.
This is a very good first build! The one thing that could be improved is using the fuselage fill to eliminate the glitching colors on the side of the fuselage. Other than that, its good!
On the input controllers for the two turning engines you put -0.2 for the min and 1 for the max. The max should be set to 0.2 so that they turn at the same rate.
I experienced a weird glitch when I clicked on the top rotator's part properties for some reason. The speed became disabled and the rotator started free spinning.
To fix it, I made sure that the values for the range and speed were both equal to 1 by only changing them through the fine tuner.
IDK how this happened tbh, I hope that's only a me problem and that I did something wrong somewhere.
I will probably post an updated version of the demo in May after my school semester is over. I do plan to post documentation of the variables so that it is easier for users to integrate into builds.
Thank you all for the support, I honestly didnt expect this to do as well as it did due to all the bugs. I have a lot of plans for this concept in SP2 :)
Testing of my current project: Type 30 B Intermediate Trainer. This footage is from Jan 2024. It is a testbed for my Funky Trees experiments. I'll post a better test video on the updated Type 30 D model soon.
i feel like an idiot
+1@SodiumChloride
+1I finished the description and the controls if you needed them.
I didn't know you would join this challenge.

I hate PID tuning :[
@avDude4 Yes, thank you.

I cannot handle this.
I was literally just thinking about what would happen if you put a winch on a rocket.
The cost of the missiles alone rivals the GDP of small countries

I'm getting too old for this, man.

Thank you for telling us about the post on the drag coefficient. This is gonna help a lot for replica builds

Thank you to @Ku for reviewing the plane and ILS documentation!
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. Thank you V
Attention to the designated grid zone!
@dabestsock I was bored
Why is there a gun facing backwards? 💀
Also, the right engine should be inverted

@Someguywhomakesmods Yes, you can make changes to it. Let me know If you have any questions about the that I math used.
Are the brake temps in kelvin or celsius?
@YarisHatchback this is a new build that I plan to release before April. It still has a lot of bugs to work out though.
@YarisHatchback Why's this dealer?
I had my glasses off when I first saw this and thought this was Momiji Binboda.
The build style of this aircraft reminds me of a user named GeekPride.
Oh I make a slight mistake. The exclamation point is only needed for displaying images. There's no need for it when its only text.
Example
You can put an exclamation point before two brackets and two parentheses.
The brackets hold the text and the parentheses hold the URL of the website.
Example:
@THEOKPILOT brother, I was like 16 when I made this. How did you find this???

I may have some ideas on how to approach this, but its gonna be kinda variable heavy.
It's gonna be interesting to see what people do to stand out for this challenge. That 200 part limit is not gonna be easy to work around.
I am so livid right now. Still upvoted.
GuyFolk's Expression:
clamp01(IAS>67.05 and Throttle>=0.25)*inverselerp(0.25,1,Throttle)Remember to use an ampersand in this expression in place of and.
Alternate Expression:
(IAS> 67.05) ? ((Throttle >0.25) ? Throttle : 0) :0Linear Interpolation can still be used if the second throttle is replaced with:
inverselerp(n,1,Throttle)One thing to note: in the video I say WinWings instead of WinsWings. Please pretend that I am saying the latter.

I'm still making stuff @DatRoadTrainGuy19 , but I keep on starting projects and never finishing them. I'm going to upload something soon though.
