Imgur is not a good site to use for image hosting due to some reason.
Most people recommend postimages.org and I personally use imgbb.com.
Other than that do what @Mousewithamachinegun123 said.
(1 / (1 + pow(A - 3 + (3 * M), 2))) - (0.2 * A) - 0.1 + (0.1 * M)
I think the issue is that implied multiplication (eg 0.1(M) or 0.1M) is not supported.
(In response to your comment about the Google account) Not sure how helpful it would be, but I have an archive of (almost) all mods ever published to SP. Unless they are provided with the mod, it doesn't have Unity projects, but you can see all mods here.
@Pilotcat123 Thanks for asking, but I just feel that adding a few labels and changing some paint isn't enough to call it a a different build. If you try and add some more detail and build the entire livery that would be okay.
@L1nus Ah, I missed the stream so I didn't get to see it, all good.
I agree with you, it was built two years ago when I was still learning all my building skills and it started off as a variables testbed. I did redo the wings a few months ago but the fuselage itself is a little meh compared to my current skill.
@jamesPLANESii I could, however I'm planning to export this and add it back as a mod to reduce CPU impact, so I deliberately made sure it could be exported easily.
Set the spoiler lever to any variable, say "Spoilers", and set the exact same value for the hinge rotator. You may need to adjust some values like the direction and some multipliers.
For the flaps I'd recommend using VTOL. Simply put that in the lever and the control surface on the wing, and again adjust values like the multiplier, direction, and min/max as required.
Hope this helps @Numbers2
While I work on the nose gear and other high-detail parts, I'd like to share this video of the finished main landing gear. The main landing gear alone (with the low part fuselages surrounding it) is almost 1800 parts. I think it will take at least a month for me to complete the nose gear and finish and publish the ninth progress update.
Some teasers for the ninth update:
- Even more detail added to wings, such as more rivets, some vortex generators, improved static wicks, and 3D modelled wing ribs in the cavity between the flap wall and the leading edge of the flaps.
- I got a new GPU (RTX 4070ti), to ensure I can have insanely complex meshes out of these parts without lag.
- New 2500 part landing gear (main and front).
@ComradeInCommune Current project is the nose landing gear, to the same level of the detail as the main gear (main gear, JUST the main gear, is over 1600 parts). Then I have, honestly, about a year to go (I am adding even more detail to everything). I also need to make a bunch of manuals and files, and make advanced cockpit systems.
Unlike a lot of other games, SimplePlanes doesn't really have its mods on the Steam Workshop. There is an option for modders to upload there, but most put it on this website, which is where a lot of the community is. Downloading a mod from here is just like downloading from the Steam Workshop; you just have to manually enable the mod by double-clicking it or placing it in your mods folder.
@TinyMaus Of course, I've just taken about a month off for Christmas, when school gets back everything should return to normal production.
I've already made parts of the nose gear doors btw, I'm still working on the part 2 of this video and progress update.
@JJ0plane The dropbox link works fine for me, I was about to ask HellFireKoder when I checked it. I guess dropbox doesn't work for everyone, and it's in the spirit of my archive to grab any related files to a mod, so here you go.
@Gibble It wouldn't have the exact same effect, but another idea is to have two labels. One white, and one black. Have the white one in front of the black one, and use a time function (I recommend smooth()) to increase the alpha. This would still jump though due to it not being true hexadecimal, but it would at least be better than it currently is.
@jamesPLANESii Thank you so much for the images, I finally got around to doing it.
This is the list of mods, in alphabetical order, that I don't have:
Edit: some of the names got messed up by formatting, pastebin link.
Additionally, there are two other sets of mods:
That one mod that has a Chinese title
All the mods beginning with "ISC"
Thank you again.
@L3FT2R1GHT Depends on if you're counting the total part count of all the components, or the total part count of all the modded components (1000 parts combined into one high detail mod part, etc). I'd say tens of thousands of parts with no mods and full details, and just a few thousand with mod parts.
imgbb.com
+1@Somedumbguy I've been meaning to make another forum about some new stuff with the wings, so I'd say sometime in the next month.
@jamesPLANESii Hello, just checking in (once again there is no rush though at all)
Imgur is not a good site to use for image hosting due to some reason.
+2Most people recommend postimages.org and I personally use imgbb.com.
Other than that do what @Mousewithamachinegun123 said.
@Solent19 I can send you the original files in-game if you'd like though
@Solent19 It's a mod part... which is part of the mod.
@Rb2h Already been done
+1Unfortunately this isn't possible, sorry.

+2@HuskyDynamics01 Can confirm, that's exactly what I do.
@jamesPLANESii All good, sounds good!
@jamesPLANESii Hi, just wondering if you've had a chance?
@GhostTeam2 Works now, thanks
@GhostTeam2 It's alright, I can wait, thanks for the quick response!
Hi, the google drive link isn't working, you need to set the access to "everyone with the link".

SWL-10
@Somedumbguy Thanks for the feedback!
+1Anonymity makes people do strange things
+2Extra detailed items detailed with even more details
@Scarlettponycute more like 20-30 thousand.
I'm modding it to be just a few thousand, you can read more here.
SWL-10
I missed the stream bruh, I was planning to watch it later
@MrCarrot Honestly, I think about a year. I'm slowly making progress towards it and I still have a LOT to do.

@ComradeInCommune The SWL-10 is simple.
The SWL-120, on the other hand....

This sounds like you haven't set the interactionType of the switches. Watch this section of my tutorial to find out more.
@AfkSlot I'd recommend trying it out yourself to get an idea, you can read a little bit more information in the FT guide linked in the pinned forums.

I wanted to recreate this but instead SimplePlanes ate my CPU
