    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Such is false.
    MINI STORY UPCOMING
Here is the story of the two leaders of the ARI, Pierre and Renee Ajlani. Both were born and raised in France to Moroccan parents, and later studied at a Salish university in business and politics, where alongside his sister, became attracted to left-wing ideologies.

Their parents became concerned, especially when they received news that Pierre has joined the Paternian Army of North Africa. Pierre would serve in many campaigns, such as Rising Storm, with distinction. He served in communications, and rose to the rank of Lieutenant.

They recalled Renee back, and promptly arranged a marriage with a conservative man, thinking this would "realign" her to right-wing ideals. However, this failed completely, and the couple quickly divorced.

She took on some odd jobs, where she saw just how much the Christian and Jewish populations have suffered under the current governor ever since the start of the GWW2. She saw that many of the converts simply did it for financial reasons, as the jizya has been raised to extortionate levels. She petitioned the governor to lower this tax and take a more compromising view with the Christians and Jews.

She was locked up in prison for five years for blasphemy. However, she only served six months, as she orchestrated a mass escape of the Mont St. Michael prison. Gaining the support of the people, who despised Awwam and were secretly practicing their previous faiths, she began the ARI.

Now, Pierre by now was in Mexico, happily married to a fellow Muslim, and has fathered children by now, unaware of what was happening to Renee. That was, until she contacted him and told of what was happening.

Knowing he could not return to France, he decided to raise support for the ARI. After a slow start, the campaign raised millions of dollars for the ARI, and the ARI, with 50+ million supporters and an arsenal backed by millions of dollars, launched guerrilla operations, culminating in Red August.

Red August, while an Awwami tactical victory, was a strategic ARI victory due to the methodology employed by the Awwami Army when suppressing dissident activity. It is alleged that Renee Ajlani was killed in the process, but such is disputed as the bodies of the women that they claimed were her did not resemble images of her elsewhere.

TF6 attempted to assassinate Pierre Ajlani with a car bomb, but failed when the members attempting to plant it were captured by

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Good. Now you know why your soldiers entered the warzone with incredibly high morale and left it with depression, PTSD, and a lack of willingness to continue to fight.

And I don't see the point where you killed Pierre Ajlani. He's in New York City.

Doing so will greatly weaken the support of the ARI, and according to Renee's brother, Pierre Ajlani, this would be a good enough.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I should note that you don't exactly have the best grasp on psychology.

Psychology is the study of behavior and mind. The application of psychology goes across virtually all cultural, ethnic, national, and religious boundaries. I would think that the psychological tactics I have described in earlier entries, such as "first man down", "every other", "dead sentry", "the cursed", and others, including "bad ammunition", would probably cause a great amount of damage to morale and faith in officers.

By the way, "bad ammunition" is simply sabotaging ammunition stores by replacing several cartridges with sabotaged cartridges indistinct from actual cartridges. These cartridges, when fired from a weapon, will cause it to explode. We only need a few of these cartridges to taint an entire cache of thousands of rounds of ammunition. This extends to artillery fuses, where the fuse will cause the round to detonate when immediately fired.

In addition, we have also issued documents to our soldiers, with the intention of them being captured sooner or later, warning our troops to use captured Awwami weapons due to metallurgical concerns.

This was designed to instill distrust in the weapons your soldiers used.

"Bad ammunition" is also similar to "bad rations", except instead of exploding cartridges, it is tainted food. It will be indistinguishable from normal food, except that consuming so will cause severe stomach problems, similar to dysentery.

We have issued similar documents to our soldiers, with the intention of capture, warning our troops about consuming Awwami rations due to the tainted food.

Initially, your soldiers thought of random exploding weapons and the occasional bad ration to be random manufacturing defects and acts of sabotage caused by non-Muslim workers or slaves. Many of them, who were innocent, were killed as a result.

When we intensified such efforts, you discovered what we were doing to your ammunition and food. While allowing your forces to ascertain where the issues came from, it raised doubts about the safety of their ammunition and food supplies in combat areas.

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I did read that.

I also read that in the same article, Hindus were later added, among other groups. Which is probably why Aruba, although a largely Muslim country, allows Americans to go about on the beaches in string bikinis with a glass of wine in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

Well, in the tourist areas at least.

Also note that in the article about the dhimmi system, "Moderate Muslims generally reject the dhimma system, which encompasses jizya, as inappropriate for the age of nation-states and democracies."

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Great Naval War & More + Random Event 9.0 years ago

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The Mongols converted because they wanted to actually be relate-able to the people, after the clusterfcuk that was the Yuan dynasty in China, where they attempted to impose Mongol superiority upon the Chinese.

And let's be honest, they were at each other's throats too. Cue Tamerlane.

Also, I must question your claims of massacre by NFK forces, due to conflicting reports by Paternian forces stationed in India by our commanders, who were either Hindu or Muslim.

Also, using the threat of force is indeed imposing yourself upon someone else by the rule of the gun. Which never works out well either.

What you need to do is win the hearts and minds of the people through kindness. Now, if there was a lot of work done by Muslim missionaries and traders without any political connections, such as the jizya or the imposition of Sharia upon non-Muslims, I could see how Islam could be much more popular. This was how Indonesia turned from a largely Hindu and Buddhist nation to a largely Muslim nation within a few centuries. Accounting for modern communications technologies, I would say such a technique would work over the course of a century.

However, you decided to walk in with guns blazing and attempted to intimidate them into conversion. Which would be met with reluctant complicity or outright opposition, the latter which manifested in the ARI.

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Great Naval War & More + Random Event 9.0 years ago

@Supermini555 Our suggestions, based on outside observation by North African Muslims in our Diplomatic Service, is as follows:

    1) Extend dhimmi status to Buddhists, Traditional Chinese Ancestor Worshippers, and Hindus. They comprise about 1.75 billion of your four billion citizens, and a full third of your army. That's no minority. Also, doing so means not making the Gurkhas angry. And let me tell you, the Gurkhas are some of the best soldiers in the world. The British Army and the Indian Army has employed battalions full of Gurkhas to great effect during their many conflicts.

    2) Abolish the jizya in its entirety. It's presence is half the reason why people support the ARI. If you want to weaken the ARI, abolish it permanently. Nobody should be artificially made poorer because they want to pray to God differently.

    3) Provide semi-autonomy to Awwami Western Europe, so you can still get that sweet tax revenue while the people are happy that you aren't trying to force them to convert at gunpoint. The fundamentalist views of your leader has caused significant backlash from Western Europe. Fortunately for you, the same hasn't been happening in India because the Governor of India has decided that out of sheer practicality, to include the Hindus as dhimmi because there is no way he can control a billion people with several million soldiers without some support.

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Great Naval War & More + Random Event 9.0 years ago

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation So, you either forcibly killed lots of them or forcibly converted them?

You did this with a BILLION PEOPLE.

AWWAM HAS FOUR BILLION TOTAL. THIS IS A LITERAL QUARTER OF YOUR POPULATION.

I only suggested this because the IRL Muslim empire of India, the Mughal Empire, extended dhimmi status to Hindus due to the sheer practicality of doing so.

Your inflexible, fundamentalist approach to your rule is going to be the thing that kills your empire. Let's make something clear: you can't simply walk in, convert everyone to Islam (or any religion for that matter), and have everyone happy. According to history, that's not how the world works.

Sure, the Koran says otherwise, but I'm going off of every other history book written since then, and they say that they get real angry when people try sh-t like that.

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Great Naval War & More + Random Event 9.0 years ago

I'm basing this off history. If you force people to renounce their beliefs through coercion such as jizya and Sharia, do you think they will be happy? Or do you think they will have some sort of underlying hatred, an underlying hatred which simply manifested itself in the ARI?

Looks good! I could see inspiration from the Desert Eagle. However, the grip angle is a bit too vertical for our likes, kind of like a Tokarev's angle. This sort of grip angle can be found on the IRL M1911, the Hi-Power, the Glock, the Desert Eagle, the USP, and the Five-seven, among other pistols.

Anyways, how much ammo is in the magazine, and what kind of ammunition does it use? @Valkyrie

  • Victoria M5A6 MBT 9.0 years ago

@PINK We fill our gaps with air.

  • M36A4 Assault Rifle 9.0 years ago

@YuukaNeko Basically, if you sell guns to Awwam, it will probably be used to shoot up innocent civilians. Because the ARI's uniform was simply regular clothes and a red armband, it was not easy to discern who was ARI and who was a civilian, and many civilians were shot as a result.

In addition, anyone suspected of harboring ARI members were either shot immediately or rounded up to be executed via beheading, without trial, consent, or even the knowledge of what exactly they are being accused of.

In addition, he taxes non-Muslims in what is known as the jizya, and those who are not Christian, Jewish or Hindu (a later addition added for very practical reasons) were probably either forced to convert or killed.

In Paternia, counter-terrorist units operate on a "no-first-use" policy, meaning that they cannot shoot anyone unless they make an aggressive action when instructed not to, such as running toward them, reaching into a pocket, or discharging a firearm at them, or when suspect is physically threatening them or an innocent bystander.

In addition, the only taxes around are sales taxes (3-7%, depending on jurisdiction), import/export taxes at customs, toll fees, fines, and a 2.5% income tax to those with earnings above P$24,999 (~124,995 USD), which scales exponentially to 7.5% for those with income between P$25,000 to P$250,000, after which the tax remains flat. Income taxes also applies to corporations. Basically, in the PR, the only tax you'll normally run into is the sales tax.

The PR constitution is modelled of the US Constitution, the Constitution's Bill of Rights and subsequent Amendments.

  • M36A4 Assault Rifle 9.0 years ago

    @YuukaNeko No problem!

Awwam is a nation due for collapse. It is a sprawling collection of territories with great ethnic diversity. However, Awwam is an Islamic caliphate, and their implementation of Sharia upon non-Muslims is rather harsh, comparable to fundamentalists.

In addition, differences on religious and political opinion is usually dealt with force.

The ARI (which you can read about in the Command and Conquere RP) is an armed group, widely considered a terrorist organization by some while others consider it a proper resistance movement, was formed indirectly because of their policies.

They have caused untold violence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Southern Italy, and even Southern Greece. Despite this, they are incredibly popular with the people, because of the repressive policies used by the Caliphate of Awwam.

However, a group of similar militancy has grown in Paternia, known as True Paternia, a far-left political group with initial militant leanings. After negotiations, we agreed that they shall disarm themselves while providing them proper political recognition as the True Paternia Party. Any member who has committed a crime in the name of True Paternia was pardoned for that crime. As of now, they aren't interested in using violence to achieve their aims.

  • Victoria M5A6 MBT 9.0 years ago

@TemDesBur HVAP is what the US Army calls what is known in WoT as APCR.

The premise of APFSDS-RC is that a fuze in the base of the round will activate the dark matter core into rapid expansion. Supported by the walls which contain it, it will create a superheated jet of dark plasma that will function like both a solid and liquid, flowing through the tank armor with pressure.

While it was found that the kinetic energy of a standard APFSDS round was able to deliver the same force as the APFSDS-RC round without added complexity, it proved more useful in low-velocity firearm ammunition, such as firearms in 11.43x23mm Colt (.45 Colt) and 12-gauge slugs, where it proved incredibly useful against Awwami armor suits.

@PINK It was just a poorly designed tank from a layout and reliability standpoint. Compared to its counterparts of the time; the Churchill, T14, Excelsior, and the KV-1, it was pretty good, possessing the most powerful gun of the bunch. However, I would say the KV-1 was the best, since its development would be extended into the IS series. The TOG was obsolete when it was only an idea.

@Makcoink Umm... New Zealand is Awwami territory. And in North Island, the Paternian Army invaded, and later retreated. New Zealand, due to its proximity to Antarctica and the large number of Paternian interests in Antarctica, became a constant naval battleground for supremacy.

And given their response to the ARI, they've done their level best to squash all opposition. During the August Rising, no negotiations were made to the ARI, which was supported by the majority of the French people.

They rolled in tanks and armored infantry to crush them, firing indiscriminately as the ARI uniforms were merely a red headband or armband and civilian clothes. Thousands died in the crossfire, and dozens of thousands more were killed in the subsequent Awwami crackdown.

As of now, ARI activity is mostly clandestine.

  • T29 US experimental heavy tank 9.0 years ago

@PINK Yeah. Also, it only had 203mm (8 inches) of turret armor, not the 279mm (12 inches) of armor in World of Tanks.

This was because the source the WoT dev team used when implementing the T29, T30, and T34 was Hunnicut, a well-regarded source on American tanks, which stated 279mm, or 12 inches, of frontal turret armor, with a gun mantle of the same thickness. They took it at face value because they didn't have the resources to actually check this.

When they actually got more resources and checked it to the actual tank, they found out it only has 8 inches, or 203mm of turret armor, covered with a gun mantle of the same thickness. However, by that time, the T29, T30, and T34 have long been made balanced tanks with the incorrect 279mm of armor, and shaving away what would be 33% of the armor would create balance issues to a tank which by now is considered "balanced".

Because of this, Wargaming now makes damn well sure that the armor values they find are the right ones.
