The primary surface combatant of the Paternian Navy. Based off the M. Corp Voivode-class destroyer, the Casablanca-class is a general upgrade to the type. Able to sail at over 50 knots, it is incredibly useful for rapid naval maneuvers and hit and run strikes the Paternian Navy is known for. In addition to 100 Sea Infernos and 18 Sea Interceptors, it carries the highly effective M89 torpedo and a rapid-fire 76mm M6A1 coilgun.
Its best known action was the sinking of the Arabian Navy scout cruiser Jeddah by the PRN Acapulco (DD-879). Flying an Avaruan flag and posing as the escort that it was to receive later that day, it was able to close within torpedo range of the Arabian cruiser. The destroyer then lowered the Avaruan flag, raised the Paternian flag, and fired both loaded tubes at 500 meters into the starboard side of the Jeddah. The Jeddah's magazines were struck, destroying the ship completely. The blast was so powerful that the Acapulco suffered some damage. All 375 sailors and officers on the Jeddah were killed. The Acapulno was later sunk in the Battle of Greenland by an Awwami mine.

@PINK We lower the enemy's flag and raise ours before firing because that's the common courtesy of using such a tactic.
People don't mind using deception in warfare, even if the enemy is disguising their units as your units. However, they will mind if you didn't drop your ruse completely before shooting at them.
We don't have any qualms about deceiving the enemy at sea, it would be rare to lower an enemy's flag. @Pilotmario
