@Viper28 We all have our preferences. In fact, we were considering to either procure the Vi-AH-7 or make an aircraft based off of it.
However, it was decided to upgrade the AH-2 Devastator simply because it would yield similar performance and is much cheaper to do, as we already have the AH-2.
It is armed with a 120mm M5A5 coilgun, and the frontal armor, on account of sloping, is as strong as the M5 Victoria while weighing only 30 tons. It has a crew of three: Commander/driver, gunner/driver, and radio operator/reverse driver. The Commander and Gunner positions are merely formal, as both positions have the same driving and gunnery controls and optics.
Theoretically, a single person can operate the tank as a result, although this capability would only be used in emergencies.
The third crewman is there to allow the machine to quickly reverse out of a firing position to relocate, as well as easing maintenance loads for the other two crewmen.
The low silhouette allows for incredible concealment abilities, especially behind ridgelines. Combined with an ACS, and the only time hostile forces will be known of its presence is when it fires its gun.
Five were used in Operation Typhoon, our invasion of Canada, in operational trials, where they provided excellent and accurate fire support in addition to knocking out 41 Awwami Khalid tanks. One was knocked out in combat in a blue-on-blue incident with an Ardent, whose commander thought it was an Awwami tank.
It was not accepted into Paternian Army service due to its incredible specialization compared to its cost; P$2.4M per unit, more expensive than the more versatile P$2.1M M6A4 UPS or P$1.7M M8A1. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
That is acknowledged as well. Sideskirts do improve protection from HEAT, EFP, and lighter AP munitions. The lead and trailing vehicles usually have this armor fitted.
However, mines are the kind of things to strike the tracks directly, from the ground. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
I show them as distributed from the factory. These are often removed in the field for the aforementioned reasons. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I am talking about sideskirts in general. Tankers would rather not have to lift or clip side skirts off to to track maintenance. It's just one extra step in a lengthy procedure.
One thing about side skirts: the troops hate it. While the top mud guards are often retained in order to provide extra space to fix tools and equipment as well as improving egress into the tank, side skirts interfere with that as well as complicating track maintenance because they must be removed before doing that. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
It's beautiful. Not one line unnecessary. With function comes form. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@GoldenEagle
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation See? We make new things.
@DankDorito Your tank builds have improved dramatically.
@PINK Was referring to me doing it.
@GoldenEagle They are less strict than the rest of Asia though.
Angle and grips aren't right, but I suppose there is little you could do to fix that, given the fact you are on iOS.
Hard =/= impossible. @PINK
lol just use the old captured wrecks. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Nice!
I read on Wikipedia this:
"The Philippines has relatively strict gun laws".
My ass they are strict. Unlike in America, you can still register a full-auto weapon. @GoldenEagle
Ok. They're offloaded at the port of Calais. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Cool. One of our gunboats, the PRN California, did that too. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Ok. We figured you may be in possession of several captured machines. We used them in the GWW2. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Its a technique that's as old as XML. @PyrusEnderhunter
Does it have the fun switch? @GoldenEagle
Permission to procure 5 for technical evaluation?
We're planning on replacing it for that reason.
And the fact that there are machines that are perfectly good substitutes. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@PINK My main criticism of this craft is the lack of any yaw control.
If you need tail rotors, my recent helicopters should have them. They're all taken from the Devastator.
@PINK lol
@PINK This.
@PINK They're more or less useless in space. Hence, our lifted body development.

@Viper28 Well, that's what the Borg do, and it seems to work perfectly fine.
insert Panzerleid
@PyrusEnderhunter They were made long ago, when there was no such thing as bullet spread.
@PyrusEnderhunter I've had that weapon in my arsenal for a very long time.
And PINK has that weapon too.
@TheBroadside Go ahead!
300mph+? @PINK
@DankDorito Sure!
@HKAerodynamics Look! An MP5!
Permission to refurbish this?
@GoldenEagle You've fired this before, am I correct?
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The latest variant, currently in service.
No, since we believe you do not use the M26 machine gun, and it's 12.7x99mm Browning ammunition. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
The Stallion is an APC. @PINK
How many? They're P$1.4M apiece, including spares and manual. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Actually, the contemporary to the Ratel is the Stallion. @PINK
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Our more spacious, well-armored option.
True. If you want comfort, there is our Avenger APC. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

Have you seen our M19? @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Mines usually strike from the direction from the ground, since the weakest armor on a tank is the belly armor. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
That is acknowledged as well. Sideskirts do improve protection from HEAT, EFP, and lighter AP munitions. The lead and trailing vehicles usually have this armor fitted.

Won't stop land mines. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

I have made an improved variant, featuring double-stacked wings via mirroring. @DankDorito
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I lied. We use 105mm howitzers extensively.
I use high physics all the time. @DankDorito
