    Turn on the COM/COL/COT indicator.

Try keep the COM (red) in front of the COL (blue), and make sure that it remains so when there is no weapons in the aircraft. @Gmanndo1000

The armor. We got a 155mm cannon, put it on a jig aimed squarely at it and shot it. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • KRIEG XM28 Victoria II 8.6 years ago

    120mm. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • KRIEG XM28 Victoria II 8.6 years ago

    1) we don't have any gun artillery in our Army inventory above 203mm caliber, and only in Battery Salem, guarding the port of Veracruz, based off the Des Moines-class heavy cruiser turret. We only have 12 batteries of M110A2 howitzers, all in Mexican Army service. The largest, general issue caliber for a gun or howitzer is 155mm.
    2) Why make an expensive, oversized gun system when we can use a plane?
    3) The 155mm cannon's APFSDS-RC ammunition matches standard 230mm ammunition. @JakeTheDogg

  • Rifle, Magazine, Self-Loading, 7.62mm, M11A1SM 8.6 years ago

We still use the M11A1SM as a designated marksman's rifle. In addition, troops stationed in deserts and mountainous environments are still issued M11 rifles since their longer effective range is more important than the firepower offered by M4A1 and M16A5. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Depends on the armor configuration for the EGA-8 Condor II

As it employs composite armor in its base profile designed to defeat larger HEAT projectiles, the low-velocity 90mm M3A1S gun either must employ HEAT-RC ammunition (which is practically firing a 120mm high-velocity tank gun at point-blank range), HEAT-DC (dual-charge, similar to the new IRL Russian RPGs) and engage the sides and rear, where its armor is thinner.

Against the EGA-6 Condor, the 90mm M3A1S was able to penetrate its armor with standard HEAT, HEAT-GP, HEAT-DC, HEAT-FS, and HEAT-RC ammunition from the front at its effective range of 1,000m, since the low velocity of the gun means that it won't be accurate enough to reliably guarantee a first-round hit beyond that distance. This is due to the fact its armor is a giant slab of rolled homogenous armor, which is exactly the kinds of thinks HEAT rounds were designed to punch through.

This data was gained from our M21A1 Beagle wheeled AFV, which employs the same gun.

    Okay.

Paternian Scout Rangers find a woman held captive by some unidentified thugs. After a brief interrogation, they find that she is a journalist who was investigating corruption in the Gran Hispanic government, specifically the readiness of the army. However, she was to be killed off because somebody didn't want that info to come out. The commander, Ghost, finds this information useful, and wants to extract her. However, the medic, Patch, sensing she has no will to live anymore due to the trauma, decides the best course of action is to get what information she knows there, knowing he will have to kill her when they are done. After he gets the useful information from her, she is killed by Patch, per standard procedure. Although remorseful of his actions, Ghost comforts Patch by telling her that what he did was an act of mercy. @JakeTheDogg

  • Rifle, Magazine, Manual, 7.62mm, M10 8.6 years ago

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation This was designed at the turn of the 20th century, where long-range precision shooting was emphasized over rate of fire.

The Mauser bolt-action system was perhaps the best, with over 100 million Mauser rifles produced (G91, G98, K98, foreign derivatives), as well as designs based on it such as the Japanese Arisaka (Type 38 and Type 99), American Springfield M1903, the British P14 Enfield and the American derivative of the P14 Enfield, the M1917 Enfield.

In addition, many modern hunting rifles and by extension, sniper rifles, use this same basic action. So in the RP, the M29 which replaced it is basically the same action, with a modern stock, new barrel, and detachable box magazine from an M11/M12.

  • Rifle, Magazine, Manual, 7.62mm, M10 8.6 years ago

Our snipers frequently do so with this rifle.

It's a long-range, high-accuracy thing. The AK is bad at longer range and when high accuracy is required. There is a shortened variant known as the M10A1. It was these rifles that became the M11. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
