Sucks this will be the last major update but im excited to see whats next! I wish you all the luck in getting it out soon so people can stop endlessly ranting about stuff thats not going to happen 😂
@Sigmaeric123 on the real car it was aero. The wheelbase was to short leading to aero instability, was shaped more like an airfoil so it created lift more than it did downforce. At least Thats what I understand. Theres definitely videos on the topic
@Sigmaeric123 technically in the 98 le mans 24 the brother to this flew, the famous CLR flip, but i thought it'd be fun to do on this one. Really the only way to get it to flip is to be going over 200mph and make it loose grip with the ground in some way.
It is possible. Just gotta work at it enough. For me i just kept making builds, about 2-3 a week for a year straight and getting friendships with people. Now i definitely cant keep that pace, and quality is improving quite a bit sense then. In my opinion sense the inclusion of fuselage slicing it has made building so much easier and should mean plat is easier but also the community is seeming to downsize a bit too.
@Rocketguy2079 lol, well, the car they're using now its the gen 7 car introduced last year or 2021 i can't remember. I think it was last year, the gen6 car was dog shit, so was the gen 5. The gen 5 when first introduced would get airborne really easily when spinning backwards at speed. Anything older than a gen 4 car is considered apart of the golden era and where pretty much anything famous about nascar is from.
@Rocketguy2079 i mean it was introduced in 2006 or 8, so you'd think there'd be some. I got two for the next gen car, this, and I can get some for the 2015 arca car too, but somehow not a gen 5. I mean it was one of the most hated cars but still 😂
@Rocketguy2079 lol thanks! I absolutely love making em! Definitely have a few more that are going to be made. Only sad thing is finding blueprints for the ones i want. So far through looking haven't been able to find any gen 5 blueprints.....
@DatMaluchGuy19 i mean it worked perfectly fine for me so idk about the acceleration being to fast and stuff. As far as i saw it was pretty slow acceleration, realistic but slow compared to modern cars.
@FlyingPatriot what physics are you on? Im on high physics and i have no problems, everything works just fine. Only thing that i noticed OS sometimes it bottoms out but thats to be expected with how low it is.
@Strucker thank you! Definitely some of my most part intensive builds, and more difficult 😂. The Taraus is just about 700parts. Bare chassis alone is 450 parts.
@14FanFlight yes they new car they're running now. Its almost done, but gotta do some stuff to it. Also have a 2022 chevy stock truck that im working on currently
@Tingly06822 yea thats fair! When it comes to nascar im a perfectionist so I got a little to hard on the details sometimes 😂. Half the time i can't run it so i can get those details but hey.
Looks great! Decided to test it out and there are a few problems.
1. Acceleration is to fast, should be a tad slower
2. Its a tad to planted, in corners its should have a little bit of rear end movement. The main complaint from cup drivers is the rear end getting loose, and hard to recover, would have been cool to get that detail
3. I would have made the suspension have its own little shock piece as it gives it so much better handling.
4. When making a car i always have it upscaled then scale it down so its easier to make small details and i would suggest having almost all parts with calculate drag false to give a little bit of performance.
Honesly most of these are opinion stuff, overall i love how it looks! Like kevin harvick, and hope to see him get one last win in this thing. Sad to see him retire
10000000000000% joining. Was honestly thinking of doing one too. Probably going to do mark martins 98 taraus with the gold valvoline livery, and i might do a junior Johnson car too.....
Hell yea brother!
+1Sucks this will be the last major update but im excited to see whats next! I wish you all the luck in getting it out soon so people can stop endlessly ranting about stuff thats not going to happen 😂
Amazing as always brother!
+1As the texan guy i approve.
+1@Wolf2333 yea thats what i was doing. 2001 FD3S spirit r type b. Honestly will prolly redsign from the ground up if i decide to work on it again
Nice! I was planning to make a FD too but couldn't for the life of me figure out the front end.
@INeedANewName @DatMaluchGuy19 @Cereal
Offical teaser post. Here so i can easily get yall on the final.
@DeezDucks no worries! Thank you!
How the hell did you do all this in 318 parts?! Amazing!
+1Like the countach. Was pretty fun when i tested it. I wonder if the easter egg was that one thing that you told me about....

+1That front end gives me very heavy s2k vibes. Like someone took the s2k and made it hyper modern. Love it!
+2@Erc90F4RU good choices. Im pretty plain and go with pretty much anything older chevy 😂
Favorite car?

@F1Fan8910 thanks! More are on the way! Next gen chevy is next!

Idk if you saw it yet but this is my entry. Still waiting on it to be made a successor

@Tingly06822 😂, thanks bro!
+1@Kroixo thanks bro!

@Scrugy51 indeed 😂
@BagelPlane thanks!
@WormWithLegs thanks! Fuselage slicing is very useful 😂
@ToeTips it can run on my phone so if yours can run 2k performance cost then it should be fine.
@Strucker thank you! Definitely some of my most part intensive builds, and more difficult 😂. The Taraus is just about 700parts. Bare chassis alone is 450 parts.

+1@14FanFlight ah fair. think michigan would have it tho, i dont think its a short track, but I may be remembering wrong 😂
Also, the spoiler has a clear plastic top that you seemed to have missed.

@WaterFlavouredSpitfires hey im totally cool with it a long as you give credit man! No worries!
+195% sure that's may old gen 4 car, with a few weird modifications. If it is all i ask is for a credit. Livery is cool! Little minimalistic but hey lol
+2@Sm10684 lol, indeed. Definitely had to include it, even if it was the little brother to this car 😂
@TheGliderGuy @Kroixo thanks bros!
+2Oh forgor to mention, if you do any small jump above 200mph it will do the CLR thing and fly so be careful.
@Tingly06822 thanks!
