@CaptainNoble Not talking about how I see you. But re-read all this, I never put any negative connotation on anything. Only you introduced it, bud. Just putting up a warning. Whoever reads this whole convo again will question your replies more. I did my part expressing my opinions as opinions. I'm serious about the warning part.
But fine, let's just cap this situation up and call it a day. GGs.
@CaptainNoble
A 737 from an A340 is pretty easy since they're.. somewhat different. Moreso for a 380 and 747.
Are those even supposed to be difficult bud? Cuz otherwise you're just starting to become one emotional wreck and waste of time.
Like I'm not even pissed anm. Genuinely asking did your younger brother our cousin or whatever get a hold of your acc? If they did ftr I have this in record to cover for you.
Because no matter what angle you look at this from, you're making a bad image for yourself.
@CaptainNoble Same is subjective. It implies several levels of "same".
Congrats to you if you can distinguish them, bud. But as a good number of people in this comment section said they're fundamentally the same.
You should give me a lobotomy if I'm somehow unable to distinguish a 747 from a 380 lmao.
But for now, with your argument, I apologize, but you're not permitted to give me a lobotomy.
Astro12:: "This does not make civil aviation less interesting in itself, but for someone who does not delve into the details, it will be less noticeable."
@CaptainNoble Exactly this.
Call civilian aircraft boring or whatever you want. That doesn't make them bad. They have less features but that doesn't mean they're nothing. That's just that. Black and white.
I just happened to find myself more interested in military craft.
Plus, you're already in the "making it sound" part. I never said anything explicitly stating civilian craft are boring. I just said that they're more monotonous compared to fighters.
Firstly, tell that to the A320, A220, A340, A350, A321 NEO, B737, 767, etc., etc. I'm sure you get my point. Most modern designs are monotonous. They only change designs when their roles are significantly different, like international and regional. I never said that was a bad thing. I just said that they mostly looked the same.
You're the one who gave it negativity, lmao
Plus, relatively, yes. Compared to commercial airliners, I do think military craft are much more of an engineering marvel. Why do you ask? Shit man.. I guess it's because they were built to do more. That's a fact.
And yeah, I do think military aircraft are cooler. So what if I stated it like a fact? I wasn't pushing it, no? I just said that they're badass, and now that's.. bad.. somehow?
Give yourself a check before putting negative meanings to everything.
People have different opinions and feelings, I'm sure you can agree.
Simply speaking, combat vehicles are the absolute pinnacle of aerospace engineering. They're designed to reach and break the limits of their predecessors and very often have very varied, interesting designs, which is in stark contrast to commercial aircraft like airliners, which all mostly look the same and are monotonous.
Plus, military crafts have many more roles than commercial crafts, look much more visually appealing (as I've mentioned), have much more kick, and let's be honest here, much more badass.
Sort of like sports cars to city buses.
@YarisSedan Quite a while from now but not too long lol
In fact, the design I posted here is heavily outdated. I've made several new iterations completely from scratch. Some have a functioning elevator, while others have larger bases, flare systems, and so on.
I even tried to add a CIWS system, but SP is too buggy for that kind of stuff.
@LettuceRob119 eh
Burnt out, no inspiration, abandoned by someone I thought I liked
The sort
But then I saw the dogfight challenge and was like ain't no way am I gonna let this happen without me
Lmao
I love the thought process behind the lift fans sm.
Creating fictional/hypothetical solutions to irl problems.. without restrictions by the FAA is what SimplePlanes was made for.
epique job @NapoleonPizza
well played
T?
"Hey, buddy, still alive?"

I'd like to update the server desc of GJ if possible
I'll contact you on discord soon for it too:]
@AirNK it actually very impressive ngl
+1I mean it looks like an F-35 withought a usual tail section and cockpit, but that in itself is pretty cool

@Graingy I'm build diff tho frfr
@Graingy by theory it is possible to defeat any enemy if you try hard enough. No matter how op the othehr one is.
You just gotta try hard enough.
@BOSSentinel I'm actually competing in that competition as well lol
