  • Anyone got any tips for this control surface? 5.4 years ago

I’d think Diloph would be pretty good with this

  • Leaving SimplePlanes until the dust settles. 5.4 years ago

Godspeed man. Good luck with everything!

  • Bob Semple upgrade 5.4 years ago

    Very cool changes!

This is really awesome. Superb job!

  • RJ-English Electric Lightning F9 5.3 5.4 years ago

@RamboJutter it’s always nice when SP just let’s you build how you want without any hiccups

  • Mirage IIIc alternative version 5.4 years ago

    What an absolute beauty!

  • RJ-English Electric Lightning F9 5.3 5.4 years ago

This is a real beauty! Fantastic looking aircraft and the way you made the wings is really excellent. Also that tiger camo is too notch. Wonderful build!

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries yeah I started playing over 5 years ago on my phone and even though I have it on my computer I still prefer it on mobile hahaha

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries yeah playing around with the drag is really important. Before 1.9 it was really hard to do this for me as a mobile user but with the integration of overload it’s very simple. It helps makes planes fly far more realistically

  • What next? 5.4 years ago

@ChisP yeah it will be easy to make from a T-38. An L-39 would be cool to see too

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries is it supposed to be a relatively modern aircraft? If it is I would expect the max speed to be around double seeing that it’s meant to fit an air superiority role. I would mix adding power, losing some weight even maybe and then reducing the drag points by 50%. Drag points are what limit the max speed your aircraft can go so if you keep the power at a moderate level, it will accelerate realistically

  • Douglas B-18A Bolo 5.4 years ago

@masotan15 ahhh that’s possible. Maybe post the oversized one too? I’d love to give it a go!

  • Dassault Mystère IVA 5.4 years ago

@FranzPeterSiegfried thanks so much man! No I’m not from Japan, I’m a mix from different European countries (citizen of the Netherlands and UK). If their name is Mustang51 though I bet we have the same favourite aircraft hahaha.

  • BF-109 But Got Colonized By The British 5.4 years ago

Now this is one way to make the 109 look prettier

  • Vigil class Imperial Corvette 5.4 years ago

This is a really beautiful build. Absolutely fantastic

  • Pt-78V [My first Tank] 5.4 years ago

Gotta say I love the muzzle break. It looks awesome

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries cool! I can’t wait to see it

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries I wouldn’t say it needs it but one of the traits of air superiority fighters is their high power to weight ratio which gives them the capability to fulfil their role better. It’s not necessary but it would help. No need to make a new variant of it just to change that though hahaha. I love it as it is

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202NEO "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries it’s great! It flies pretty well and realistically but there is still a few things which you can do to give it more of an air superiority feel. Power to weight ratio is one that comes to mind but other than that it’s really good. It really looks different compared to all the other jets you see. Lovely cockpit as well!

  • E-100 5.4 years ago

@701wwj666 understandable. The updates do change some of these things accidentally

  • E-100 5.4 years ago

Seems to be somewhat broken. When I fire the gun, it blows itself to pieces

  • Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot 5.4 years ago

    @MBR6753 great to hear!

  • Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot 5.4 years ago

@MBR6753 it’s pretty easy to fix that. If you lower the power of the engines it will help a lot. If you need any help with making something fly realistically feel free to ask :)

  • RJ-Dassault Mystere VII 3.3 5.4 years ago

And we have yet another beautiful aircraft design! This thing is pure excellence

  • Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot 5.4 years ago

Apart from being around 2.5 times faster than the real thing, this is a really good build which looks fantastic and handles well

  • Beta 1.9.202 5.4 years ago

@SnoWFLakE0s oh for me it stays even when I turn off the predictor. Part of the cannon predictor actually stays too even. Thanks though!

  • M3 Half-track 5.4 years ago

    This is really neat!

  • Beta 1.9.202 5.4 years ago

Is there a way to turn off the lead predictor for guns?

  • General Dynamics F-16C 5.4 years ago

Now if this isn’t one of the best Vipers on SP I don’t know what is

  • ARC-170 Republic Army 5.4 years ago

@Empergyd the LAAT does look fantastic. I don’t actually remember seeing a good one on SP

  • ARC-170 Republic Army 5.4 years ago

Damn this is beautiful! Great looking build of one of the coolest ships in Star Wars

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202 "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries awesome man! I’m excited to see it. If you need any help with it feel free to ask but I doubt you’ll need it hahaha

  • MiG-21bis (Somewhat accurate) 5.4 years ago

    @DaDerpachu123 of course!

  • MiG-21bis (Somewhat accurate) 5.4 years ago

@DaDerpachu123 try flying at 20,000ft for around 1-2 minutes while on fast forward. It will get there. Don’t turn on autopilot though

  • MiG-21bis (Somewhat accurate) 5.4 years ago

I don’t think it’s necessary though since it already hits 1300mph

  • J-5 5.4 years ago

This is superb! What an excellent build!

  • MiG-21bis (Somewhat accurate) 5.4 years ago

@DaDerpachu123 add some drag points and then increase power. It flies 1300mph for me at 20,000ft though give it another try but wait a minute or two on fast forward until it gets to that speed

  • Yak 52 V 001 5.4 years ago

Beautiful aircraft! It looks fantastic and flies great! Working on this with you was good fun so thanks for the opportunity

  • MiG-21bis (Somewhat accurate) 5.4 years ago

It’s definitely looking a lot better! The wings and length of the fuselage fit much better but the elevator still isn’t exactly the right size or shape. Why not try adding some more detailing as well like insignias? Nevertheless though this is definitely an improvement. If you do anymore work to it show me an unlisted version of it and maybe I can help you out with a couple tips :)

  • MiG-21bis 5.4 years ago

@DaDerpachu123 whatever you feel like :) I think you’d do good with that

  • [DD] Typ 32 LeKZr (early) 5.4 years ago

Fantastic ship! It looks great, especially with the little people you added

  • AK-630M2 Duet CIWS 5.4 years ago

    Nice one!

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202 "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries I actually fly on my phone so I have the two on screen joysticks. I’ve been flying it a bit more and it’s a little easier now. I still accidentally pull 180 turns at 500mph in two seconds accidentally but it’s getting easier

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202 "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

@SemedianIndustries fair enough. It’s a hard one to fly effectively but I can imagine with some practice you get used to it

  • Semedian EADS CASA C-295M Persuader 5.4 years ago

    @SemedianIndustries no problem!

  • MiG-21bis 5.4 years ago

@DaDerpachu123 try to use the scaled down wings. If you look at how I make my wings, most parts don’t have any actual wing piece in them. If you make the whole thing without adding wing parts, and then hide scaled down wings somewhere within the plane, it will work way better

  • Semedian Werdon DSF202 "Crimson Winter" 5.4 years ago

This is really cool! I would say that the CoM should be slightly more forward to make the turns more smooth but other than that it’s great. Lovely build and great looking aircraft. Reminds me of an MD 265 a little

  • Where do you start building 5.4 years ago

I will usually first make a rough build which will be the general shape of the aircraft I am making. This way when I start the real thing, I know how it’s going to look and be shaped. I tend to start with making a fuselage tube of parts being between 0.5-0.1 in size. I add these until it’s the length that I wish for the aircraft to be and then I start shaping it usually starting at the nose. After I go for the wings but the way I do that changes with every plane I make
