@Graingy nah not really, just put the engine in-line with the CoM and go from there.

alternatively be like me and build weightless and add weight later. you can add but reducing it is a pain in the ass, just like cooking.

do note that your spaceship must weigh exactly around 25,000kg so it is neutrally buoyant, otherwise it'll sink(if it's more than 25t) or takeoff uppy(if it's less than 25t)
