@EternalDarkness I was gonna try that on the next ship I do! Still probably will, though I might borrow this method with some credit if what I have in mind doesn't work as well (or is the same). Rafealmmm makes my previous soviet ship work look like crap, I need to step up! And probably build some highly detailed Yankee ships as well since they have the Soviet stuff covered.
.
Great stuff as always @Rafalemmm, I look forward to the next one!
If I may pose another suggestion on the behalf of Submariners…..
.
Please deal with the -60 foot weapon despawn!
.
It’s been a limitation to submariners and it’d be nice if we could take things like torpedoes as deep as a submarine can go. The simplest solution could be to move the weapon despawn to a much deeper depth if not removing it entirely.
SavageMan is probably my favorite in terms of general building, 1918 being second place. Of course I also appreciate BogdanX's work too. I miss RandomUsername, they were one of my favorite builders when they were around for the refined functional builds they developed.
LET THE CAMERA GO UNDERWATER! That really shouldn't be too hard in my opinion and I don't see why WNP can't repurpose his Underwater Camera mod to implement it officially. And I doubt Mobile devices will have problems rendering big voids of blue. At the VERY least package the underwater camera mod with the game.
@JuanAlt Not exactly that, more that if you remove the drag it reduces the amount of lag greatly. It also reduces the lag a large build might normally have. It might make a 1000 part build lag only as much as a 300-500 part build might or less.
Dunno if anyone’s said it before but I think your future builds would benefit greatly from some De-dragging, as drag is a big cause for lag. Simply starting a build with a part with no drag and duplicating it is how I start them. Here’s a Tutorial as well for removing drag from all parts of an already built thing.
.
There’s ways to substitute the speed limitation of drag as well, one simple way is an Airbrake with GS as an input and the max raised under Input Controller. Hope this helps! Might make your builds more accessible/give you more leeway to have more parts with less drag!
You weren’t lying when you said “Regardless of terrain.” It can shoot at stuff that’s behind a mountain! It’s also got that neat no lock on trick too. Very nice!
One little thing I like is how the missiles don’t obliterate aircraft they hit! Leaving the satisfaction of seeing a stricken wreck falling and/or breaking up.
Funny enough it probably would be more time consuming than difficult compared to this. Since I don't have to add as many slopes xD just one road section scaled to the proper length. This meanwhile has been quite tricky to make slopes that don’t make vehicles lose control. I got the basic loop done at least! @HadesHadestheWeeb
@Oniyonai Using VTOL nozzles and engines as aforementioned can also be used for underwater engines, in fact they're a recurring engine for use in ships. Another alternative is to raise the chordscale in prop engines, but this can make them ugly and stops working entirely at a certain depth.
@Oniyonai For forward propulsion this uses an engine consisting of rotators and wings, some rotators turning the wings while others adjust the wings’ pitch. This system works flawlessly underwater.
.
Up and down propulsion (what simulates ballast control) uses a set of VTOL nozzles with an engine that remains detached from the build and floating.
@Kangy Mobile Friendly is a shaky term, a Pad that I got not too long ago can handle up to 4k parts, and it's not unheard of for mobile devices to handle such high part counts. Not to mention the existence of PC's that can't handle 1k. This'll be made as low impact as possible, but I won't limit it for the sake of trash devices.
.
A simple version with the base road and no other features will be available though.
@Default4 Nope, I've completed the intended route's basic road (with some changes, but no less distance) and it's only 180. Some extra parts will come in to help work out kinks and add stuff such as side barriers, but I don't predict it'll be past 1-2000 parts.
@BurkeAircraft1 Indeed, I think this should be tested from an AI craft to see if it still gives you the warning when the AI craft fires it at you @ComradeJohann
Whoa this comment section, it is interesting how a wooden boat can stir up more political keyboard boxing than any amount of USSR, USN, or even PLAN Vessels. (China has the best Navy Acronym tho. In terms of naval doctrine you can certainly say they have a 'PLAN' ;) Haha forgive the bad pun)
.
As for opinions on the build, nicely built boat with an interesting history! I do appreciate a build which comes with history.
Building lots of stuff other than aircraft seems to make you less of a target. I’ve never seen a car or submarine of mine on that freeloader’s black market.
@DanDaFreakinMan Just slow down and VTOL down till the bottom touches the ground. It's got no landing gear, but it self stabilizes decently well so as to not need it.
That guy's stolen from quite literally everyone with a halfway popular aircraft, even grabbed my Kamov! Luckily the mods and Devs are compiling evidence and are about to take action.
Quite visually interesting for such a low part count. The piston arrangement seems a bit unnecessarily roomy though. Pistons that can be hidden in the submarine are normally sufficient in maintaining stability with the right adjustments.

@Jrqwio READ the actual post here.
@asteroidbook345 That might actually be a possible explanation, especially with the kids.

@EnzoDiazUnofficial @Gamerboy5015 If you’re gonna announce pirating you may as well delete your accounts, that can get you banned.

Dear golly, the 10k+ Builds are coming! The Yamato has opened the way to computer annihilation!
+1@Dathcha Build
@VolcanicAsh Worry not friend, it has zeeeeero ;) I've built big things before so I've long known the merits of removing drag.
It's flat, the round SP myth is a Beluginati conspiracy, wake up sheeple!!1!!11!!!
+1@JuanAlt Not exactly that, more that if you remove the drag it reduces the amount of lag greatly. It also reduces the lag a large build might normally have. It might make a 1000 part build lag only as much as a 300-500 part build might or less.

It’s over Nine THOUSAND!!!!! Also looks beautiful!
+2@JeskoGoesVROOM This’ll have no drag and use as few parts as possible. So it might handle it well enough
You weren’t lying when you said “Regardless of terrain.” It can shoot at stuff that’s behind a mountain! It’s also got that neat no lock on trick too. Very nice!
+3One little thing I like is how the missiles don’t obliterate aircraft they hit! Leaving the satisfaction of seeing a stricken wreck falling and/or breaking up.
+2You can go to overload and under the inputcontroller you can set the min from -1 to something lower like -.5 or -.25 to lower engine power in reverse.

@AWESOMENESS360 Glad I’m not alone in thinking that, still miss them and their builds.
@KnightOfRen Well it’s Simpleplanes so it’s possible to tweak this thing’s suspension to be more drift worthy.

@Default4 Part efficiency, and lots of use of the 'Scale' function in overload :)
@Default4 Nope, I've completed the intended route's basic road (with some changes, but no less distance) and it's only 180. Some extra parts will come in to help work out kinks and add stuff such as side barriers, but I don't predict it'll be past 1-2000 parts.
@MrGreen Nope, it'll be a build!
+3@BurkeAircraft1 Indeed, I think this should be tested from an AI craft to see if it still gives you the warning when the AI craft fires it at you @ComradeJohann
Now that is a very neat trick! Could be useful in a lot of ways if looked into.

@Formula350 That’s neat to learn, nice!
Better watch your heck-ing language there boy!
@AWESOMENESS360 A 3 year old build, and visually it holds up remarkably!
Tellllll usssss hoooowwww pleeeeaaaase, or we could wait for this build to come out lol.
+1@Biro Oh, have so many noobs done the same question format that it's become a joke? lol.
+1Building lots of stuff other than aircraft seems to make you less of a target. I’ve never seen a car or submarine of mine on that freeloader’s black market.
+1A transmission with a torque curve? Me like! Best of luck completing this beauty.
+3@Biro Do you know how to use gyros period?
NOOOOOOO OOOOONE Zips like Gaston, Breaks those ships like Gaston, no one blows all the buildings to bits like Gaston!
+4They did, but funny enough it still has their name in the link
@Fox00One Thanks for linking this, what you've found is in fact this slimy bastard's SECOND account. He just had his first one taken out today!
+3@DanDaFreakinMan Just slow down and VTOL down till the bottom touches the ground. It's got no landing gear, but it self stabilizes decently well so as to not need it.
They got him! He's history now.
+2That guy's stolen from quite literally everyone with a halfway popular aircraft, even grabbed my Kamov! Luckily the mods and Devs are compiling evidence and are about to take action.
+3@Biro Perhaps a gyro could help with that. That and a higher buoyancy on the floats.

+1@ThomasRoderick Arguably, since its functions are much like my submarines.
