U-Boat Type VII "Gray Wolf"

No Decal and Low Part Versions Here

Unterseeboot Type VIIC

After a period of only making Japanese Sports Cars I finally made the Type 7 U-Boat after all this time, I decided to make it extra special by trying some advanced decal making! The result isn't fully perfect, but it adds a lot to the visuals! I love the Greyhound movie, even despite a historical hiccup here and there, and I'm happy to honor it with this build!

Can we get this past the old Type IX? It's high time that old build got surpassed! If not though, I'll probably make a new updated type IX (I'll make one either way anyway).

@Oniyonai This is one of the best most beautiful things in this game, it’s absolutely spectacular, I will recommend this to everyone I know with this game. Outstanding job and it is spectacular.

@Oniyonai Using VTOL nozzles and engines as aforementioned can also be used for underwater engines, in fact they're a recurring engine for use in ships. Another alternative is to raise the chordscale in prop engines, but this can make them ugly and stops working entirely at a certain depth.

@MintLynx but can we make a more simple engines for underwater ?

@Oniyonai For forward propulsion this uses an engine consisting of rotators and wings, some rotators turning the wings while others adjust the wings’ pitch. This system works flawlessly underwater.
    .
Up and down propulsion (what simulates ballast control) uses a set of VTOL nozzles with an engine that remains detached from the build and floating.

@SteelwingAerospace Good question! The simple way of making default missiles fire from underwater is to add a thing to the “missile” part of the Overload menu. “waterproof” to the left and “true” to the right (without quotes).
    .
For what I have done with my subs, it involves making what is functionally a deployable aircraft which can maneuver and is equipped with a bomb warhead or weapon. For ballistic missiles, the cannon is a good option alongside the use of a winch to keep the missile connected after launch. They’ve used things ranging from zero damage guns, rocket boosters, or even just detacher force to push them out of the water enough for the jet engines to carry them along.

Also I’m considering making my own ballistic missile submarine. How do I get missiles to fire from underwater? @MintLynx

It’s amazing. I have a suggestion for another sub. Could you make the Vanguard class nuclear submarine from the UK please?
