if you have it on steam you should try verifying integrity of the game files or try making a new plane as some planes can have glitches that makes the game crash/freeze.
fire delay is only for bombs and missles and rocketpods etc.for guns you can do like this:
If youre making a replica gun and the Magazine is 50
burstcount is 50 and then time between bursts is reload time, to edit fire rate you edit the rounds per second thing and that can also be the same as the real one.
@Aviationary you should use overload mod instead of using the actual xml files as it is simpler (yes i know that overload edit's the xml files) but overload is faster and yaaa
@JetWondy delete and reinstall simpleplanes and select create desktop shortcut or there may be a setting wich allows you to make a shortcut but when that is done you can open it with the shortcut.
when you try to open the file t should probably prompt you with a window asking what program you want to open the file with, that is how it works on windows but it probably is the same on linux

@Awsomur yes but within day there were already knockoffs of PUBG and that means that they clearly didn't spend any time making them.

you did so that the gun fires too many rounds so the game allways crashes when you try to load the build.
