Aspiring Pilot (I want to work towards being an F-22 pilot, and then I hope to collect old warbirds/GA aircraft)
And for a hobby, I want to start a manufacturing company
The CoL is the point the aircraft goes up from. If it is too far forwards, you spin out of control. If it is too far back, you would never take off (it would just push down on the front gear). You want it right nudged in the middle. And the CoM is the point the aircraft could be perfectly balanced on. You want it down, and ahead of the CoL. This makes it so it wants to go down, but it keeps going up anyways. Trim is what is used to fix it. NEVER use a gyroscope unless it is on a helicopter (even then... never use a gyroscope)
You need at least one, and what do you mean by "pitching down?" Is it a slow, progressive pitch, or is it a "spin out of control and hope you don't die?"
@Ouroboros you can do two images by using a collage (multiple pictures on one picture)
But yes, that's some amazing art. And a mighty fine plane as well
@ChrisPy oh, awesome! That actually is a great idea.
The Baby Hawk will likely have 2 rings of afterburner (it will have supercruise, as the jets are mostly meant for only mil power)
The Super hawk will have 2 F119s (each have 3 rings) and the special main engine on it will have 4 rings (2 inside each of the 4 small heat-suppression internal nozzles, and 2 in the main nozzle)
This is for 3 of my 4 upcoming builds lol. The Expeller will have weak afterburner, the Baby Hawk will have a really powerful afterburner, and likewise with the latter, the Super Hawk will have EXTREME POWAH for its afterburner.
The B-36J did not have afterburner though
Bomb bays are a must. Like a single part that functions like the standard wing, and you can add a bay, and then drag it to the size you want, select the range of extension, and then set it to an AG group
@F1849 honestly, just keep building. Try using new and harder things like panelling and blueprints, and you'll get better really quick. I never expected to reach gold, but now I feel the push to get better, so I try hard to. If you put the effort for it, I'm sure you can get there too, lad
Grrrr
So many good Challenges... I have a plane I would paint for this... thebissue is I don't have the plane yet. I have 3 builds I need to do, but I will certainly try to paint the fourth for this challenge
@Captainboeing Put threee underscores next to each other on their own line
@PapaKernels oh, nice!

@KnightOfRen cool, thx
Can I build this?
Boof, boof.
I'm in
@PapaKernels aww, thanks! And yeah, agreed
@PapaKernels lmao

+1Thanks! @WisconsinStatePolice
+1Sorry, just saw your upvote
You won! XD
I got 6 Updoots, you got 8. Congrats!

@lolry13 Hmm. Adding landing gear should fix it. You want the CoM slightly lower than the CoL

And that's your problem. Do you have any drag points?
@lolry13 The center of thrust does not matter
@lolry13 you have to click "reply" to tag me, I didn't know you responded
@Ruskiwaffle1991 bans are always temp. It shuts the account down for a duration of time

I'll try to help my best though!
Put a screenshot here. An explanation isn't enough.
It is likely your CoL, not the CoT
@PapaKernels
Everyone: I will also be making a second variant of this at a later date; the B-36X "Expeller"
My build is ~90% done. I should have it turned in by the end of this week
@Damirruki thanks!
@stevemc01 mikoyanster is busy with life, they might not return. This challenge has not been graded
+1@ChrisPy oh, okay! Thanks!
@HellouUnt lmao
Oui oui, c'est perfique
Crunche
@HellouUnt yes. Until tomorrow
@ChrisPy I'll look into it though. Thanks!

@asteroidbook345 thank you!
I think that one could work more realistically too
Coolio!
Coolio!
@spefyjerbf oh, that's literally the input? Lmao. Thank you so much!

This panelling job is ungodly lmao
Absolutely amazing.
I might end up having to get around to building a zeppelin.
@F1849 like if you are making replicas, use the blueprint feature so it is to scale, and looks like the actual plane

That one was a nuclear roast
@Simpleplayer1 oh, damn
+1@PapaKernels Yeah, I agree
