I think these are the most important parts about SP2 (from the teaser video and pictures):
- The user interface is (very) similar to SP1. This will make it feel familiar to players.
- Paint textures. No more extra parts for stripes!
- Underwater camera. Will be extremely useful.
- Multiplayer! As an Apple user, this makes me VERY happy!
- Backwards Compatibility. My main concern of having to rebuild everything is solved.
- But most importantly, this is an incredible sequel to an already brilliant game, a sequel that will (or at least should) make FlyOut redundant, and frighten the developers, Stonext Games. That is how good I bet SP2 will be.
Thank you @Jundroo for not giving up on this fantastic community.
@jamesPLANESii @AndrewGarrison I don't thing a physics update would be a good idea, because most planes would probably become unflyable. I would recommend a terrain update - which is what I've been hoping a next update will be.
@AndrewGarrison Actually, the priorities for a possible future update should be to make the orbit view auto switch be able to be turned on or off, or even remove it, and make cameras work below sea level (they auto switch when they touch the water's surface).
"Q: gib releas date when
A: Not sure yet, as I've said above I only want to provide the highest quality parts, so I'm taking my time. I'm really hoping for Christmas this year."
You said this last year, so I'm gonna guess for around January 2025.
@WNP78 Okay. But, if you are making a new game, here's some advice: Please make it as easy to understand as SP, because Juno is sometimes confusing to play. That's all I'm asking you guys (again, IF you're making new game). I'll shut my mouth now.
Now everyone will be asking about the new SP update. XD
+12One of my favourite parts about SP trailers is the guy that narrates them.
+11Someone explain to me why this is re-released
+11Welcome aboard Air Rushmore

I don't think SP should have a sequel; it's too good for one.
+7WOW! How does this work? Could you explain? Also, how do make it go faster? Finding that out would really help! Could you also make a Tesla Roadster?
+7Ok, I like pineapple on pizza, But I would want some pizza with that pineapple.

+6For some reason I really want to press the OK button, but I don't know why

Maximum function & detail with minimum parts, well done!

+5Your aircraft list is very organised!
+5JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SIMPLEPLANES PLAYER.
+4178 upvotes for something that could've been built in 2014, but wasn't for years. Marvelous.
+4I feel like you'll be doing the BAe 146/Avro RJ next.

+4where's the image? I can't see it.
+4That is NOT a chandelier, THIS IS.
+4Are you telling me that you made a not-that-mobile-friendly plane on a MOBILE DEVICE!?
+4I feel like this plays the Minecraft theme song.
+3YIKES!
+3XD
+3@WNP78 This has GOT to be put into the game's code (like the metric measurement mod and the advanced targeting mod)

+3how many giga chad versions of the default planes are there?
+3@GalacticaAsia Congrats on platinum!
+3@PaperPlaneHasDream There are times when that's funny, and times when it's not. This is a time when it's not.
+3I modified my friend's plane, and it can go an indicated air speed (IAS) of Infinity km/h

+3Flying Fortress? More like Falling Fortress.
@Majakalona idk. I spent 10 months building an aircraft and just got 27 upvotes. I feel unnoticed and unappreciated.
