@superTT
this is a very crude concept of mine, using very simple FT to showcase the benefit of having an active suspension on highspeed offroad for pitch and yaw control.
it performs kinda only ok, still a concept to think with. But with more refined FT, still have huge potential.
i lost my words
this is beautiful
i am a big fan of 787b and a big fan of rotary engine in general.
i was thinking about a replica of this car and the timeline I give myself is over one year. And u did it in 4 days. I guess sleep and normal life are overrated.
I mainly build cars in SP, and here's my opinion about building cars in SP.
About building cars, we can take a good look at the game "dream car builder".
Just as you say engine, transmission, and drive train. But also tyre model and ball joints.
A better tyre model includes the importance of suspension geometry and also tyre itself as a suspension components. And it would be nice, if we can build the rim with fuselage, let the driveshaft drive the rim, and tyre as an add on.
Ball joints enable us to use less part in suspension, instead of stacking a bunch of rotator on each other.
And also there's connection physics problems with the games. If you connect a little mass object relative to the total mass, the connection will be weekend. And that prevents us from building a realistic weighted components for cars.
And I think it will be awesome to have belts and gears for those mechanical nerds.
its kinda simple, and kinda cute
here's something that I'm still working on and kinda similar
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Wt0VRC/try-to-make-a-grand-prix-chassis
This is a very incredible build. And the amount of detail such as proper dimensions and size and tuned driving dynamics is very rare in Simpleplanes car builds. Though I do think that the driving dynamics is a bit fake.
And sorry that I can't find out why it rotate on the spot though. But from my experience it may be the following reasons:
Gyroscope settings
Unwanted collision with the ground or other components
Excessive wheel grip
As a dedicated automotive bilder in Simpleplanes I will say this is the kind of build that inspires me to do more and better. And amount of detail in both in and exterior definitely set a new benchmark for future auto builds.
Though I must admit that the lack of proper suspension geometry and setting as well as proper weight and size scale do let down this otherwise amazing build.
@Gamegenorator https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/vb39yJ/cyber-truck-wide-fixed
this might fix it, i think it's caused by unintentional wheel rotation angel caused by assembly process.
@CrashFighter05 I go from around 400 points to 3000 points from just 2 of my work. One is a very serious work that took me 6 months, and another one was build in only purpose of laughing at the truck's design and took me 6 hours.
@TwistedWarshipDude This looks like it gonna be very exciting

+1can u guys see the pic?
@SmSmThe10684 when exactly will this event end?
I can probably able to finish before 0000 GMT+3,29.12.20. Will that be too late?
Nice one
how to be a successor?
and how do u count displacement or turbo charged or not
excellent
+1it's surprising that such a well-known meme have so few work
IDK but the eagle in the thumbnail I think is more related to BDR (West Germany) than DDR(East Germany)
Nice build nonetheless
+1lovely!
how you are manage to crank out so many great pieces in such a short time?
I just can't.
beautiful automobile by the way
closed pit stop
+2project cars 3 flashback

oh wow
this is ... something
absolutely beautiful!
+2oh wow
where did u find this, I don't really remember when I had made this public
oh wow
+2windows phone is long gone
but long live the jundroo
It's ... something
beautiful!
at first glance, I thought it's made from dream car builder
@tylerdeveneuxmusic thx alot
+1Absolutely brilliant
I can see all the little detail inside the suspension.
and it's gorgeous.
such a shame it isn't realistically weighted.
My criteria are simple, if there's ROC stuff, I will upvote.
+2@Bman01 its originally there as a temporary cockpit for mirror things, but i think it might as well be a badge or something.
@BogdanX
wow, thank you very much, I was just wondering if its working or not and don't really know how to fix it.
My criteria are simple. I upvote when there's ROC stuff.
sorry for the auto credit

magnificent
absolutely beautiful
very nice aesthetic, pretty good suspension, good numbers of part count
just overall very nice

+1Beautiful!!!
The wheel articulation is pretty good, but the pitch control of the suspension isn't that good as the roll control
I think this work of mine can serve good inspiration for your future project.
here
@aircraftarsenal123 I forgot to mention that I'm so glad that you actually build the suspension, which is also pretty rare

+1@ElonMuskOfficial nice truck design so that I can easily built it in Simpleplanes without too many problems
@Baconartor9000 of course you can
+1@Gamegenorator nice wedge shape airplane

@Masr00rDeLel he didn't, he just make a new version of the truck, and its fine, it's not just a reupload

Here you go
If you find some problems that's suspension related, feel free to review some of my work.
It might give you some inspiration
@Pulkit no problems
I will give it a try, so which one?
