@ColonelCanada That's not what i meant by image links, i mean like an image that you can click like a hyperlink.
Edit: How dare you edit your comment.
Instant regret.
@LonelyAustrianUhlan Cool plane! Here are some observations though:
You should always add flight instructions to your planes so the vr users don't have to leave the game to check the controls.
The position of the engine on / off buttons makes it hard to press them when you increase the throttle, you should probably make sure that doesn't happen on future planes.
For decorative buttons / switches, you should add a tooltip with something like "N/A" to let players know they're not meant to do anything.
Custom wings are pretty cool, but they look really weird without any control surfaces, i'd recommend you try this method for the wings.
@BeastHunter It should've worked fine considering guns work even after breaking off a plane... i'll check to see what happens, maybe you just messed up the input code by accident.
@X99STRIKER I posted a purple spam can that hovers and got 10 upvotes, so really i think the least effort you put in it, the more points you get. Just post a flight computer and watch the upvotes flow in.
Or, you can just reinstall the game, download all your planes and change the settings again. Also don't put a question mark on the title of a tutorial, makes it seem like a question.
I tested it by spawing a plane behind be and firing the "acid", the plane got thrown away and i no longer could use mouse controls. I'll make sure to avoid the acid in future encounters.
@ColonelCanada Do you play on PC? If you hover the mouse cursor above his name "Retired SimplePlanes Developer" pops up, so i assume he left Jundroo. Also, how did you find this?
@ColonelCanada Funky Trees isn't overload, it's an input system. You just need overload to put it in control surfaces because they don't properly support it for some reason.
@ColonelCanada Open wing in overload, select input controller, set the input on the right wing to Roll - Pitch and the one on the left wing to Roll + Pitch.
While that may seem complicated, that's basically just telling the game to do some basic math with whatever value Pitch and Roll are set to at the moment. Also, there's a F-21F?
@ColonelCanada Yeah the javascript thing helps because of variables and the Condition ? Thing_That_Happens_If_Condition_Is_Met : Thing_That_Happens_If_Condition_Is_Not_Met code so it's not really required, just makes it easier to understand.
What exactly do you need help with? You can tag me on the post if it's on a wip plane.
@ColonelCanada Funky Trees, it's like math but the numbers can change and you have to account for that. Do you know anything about javascript? It could help.
@Bryan5 You should pin my previous comment about backups in case anyone sees this, it's surprising the amount of people who lose all their progress on something because they didn't make any backups.
@ColonelCanada Quite a bit better than the D variant, looks nicer too. Since i can't think of any issues with the plane, have some tips for your next ones:
The vertical stabilizers don't need to be that large, you can take a look at the VR Wasp for reference.
For the wings, you can use FT to have the control surfaces respond to both roll and pitch instead of adding another wing, you could ask me for help on that if you don't understand it very well.
Instead of copy-pasting fuselage blocks that look the same, you should instead change it's length to save parts. You can also enable "smooth" on their part settings to make them look more connected, not everyone does this though.
The back (main) landing gear should be placed as close as possible to the fuselage, having it so far away not only looks odd, but also makes it harder to take off.
For the wings, instead of using the normal ones, i usually grab structural wings, open them in overload and set allowControlSurfaces to true, this is because the regular wings have a weird flex when under high G-forces and weight, doesn't seem to happen here though.
Just some things i thought you should know, hope you find them useful!
@PPLLAANNEE You can read it from the start if you ever have time to kill and nothing to do, make sure to bring enough popcorn, about 6 medium sized buckets should do.
@ColonelCanada How dare you not understand the reference (and mess up a hyperlink).
+1Instant nuke.
@ColonelCanada How dare you resort to violence.

@ColonelCanada How dare you not use a new line for the "instant something" part.

@BeastHunter Hm, weird. I assume that's so you can't use guns when they get removed from the plane, not sure why that doesn't happen on pc.
+1@ColonelCanada Try spawning this thing on Wright Final Approach and activate AG1, it looks pretty funny.
+1@BeastHunter Does it just disappear when you detach the plane?
+1@X99STRIKER 749 parts oof, also performance cost 0? Did you break the site?
+1@LonelyAustrianUhlan Cool plane! Here are some observations though:
Hope this helps!
+2@BeastHunter Guns worked fine for me, what exactly did you try to do?
+1@ColonelCanada But do you know how to make image links though?
+1@BeastHunter It should've worked fine considering guns work even after breaking off a plane... i'll check to see what happens, maybe you just messed up the input code by accident.
+1Ah yes, 264 nonillion gallons of fuel, nothing strange here. Btw, what do you mean by "couldn't get the gun to work"?
+2I'm pretty sure the rules state you can't announce discord servers like this.
VTOL, supermaneuverable planes fly weird.

It would get annoying really fast.

@ColonelCanada There's a curator with 2k points so... you can do that i guess.
+1@ColonelCanada He's silver now, about 3k points i think. There's bronze dev called pedro, but you can't spotlight him since he has no planes.
+1@ColonelCanada You can also spotlight mods btw, i already did that with one of SupremeDorian's planes.
+1@ColonelCanada Oh
+1@ColonelCanada Do you play on PC? If you hover the mouse cursor above his name "Retired SimplePlanes Developer" pops up, so i assume he left Jundroo. Also, how did you find this?

+3@ColonelCanada So it's an indirect rickroll, that's a different category.
+2@ColonelCanada I'll test it in a few minutes.
+1@ColonelCanada The one that says "totally a rickroll" isn't actually a rickroll link, not sure what it is but it points to a plane here.
