I can't find any comments about it so maybe I'm remembering wrong.
From what I could find, a deleted account with the username CCooper was the fastest legit platinum at around 3 weeks.
Apparently there was also a joke account named @Jelly created by the devs which had it's point count set to 100k as soon as it was made, so I guess that would be the fastest if you count it.
Note that the Jelly account used a now removed image from imgur as its pfp, unlike every other account which only has gravatar as an pfp option.
I think at some point everyone decided to upvote one account for a joke which ended up getting it to platinum in a day, but I'm not entirely sure about that since I don't know what the account was.
I doubt Jundroo would even consider option 2 to be honest, the games and communities are just way too different for that (with SP being sort of a flight-sim-sandbox and SR2 being a more serious space exploration game).
Considering they released SPVR a while ago, maybe that was to keep everyone here occupied while they finish up SR2, before working on this game (or a sequel).
My guess is that they'll probably go with one of these options:
a) Finish up SR2, then start work on SP2 (although I don't know if there's enough left to add for a new game)
b) Finish up SR2, then make a large paid update (DLC) for this game
c) Dropping support for this game entirely to focus on SR2 (unlikely, but still probably less so than merging both games)
Although I'm not sure how well a DLC would sell though considering mods can already alter the game to add new stuff, a mobile exclusive DLC would also probably not sell very much and only annoy everyone who doesn't own the PC version.
Flickr since apparently images from postimage don't load for some people.
I might start using something else though, not a big fan of that site.
Edit: I got imgbb to work with ShareX, I'll probably be using that from now on.
@ZeroWithSlashedO How do I tell if a blueprint is angled before I start building? Also I think those small differences from the Wikipedia page are what messed up my last attempt, where did you find the more accurate specifications?
[...] Keep in mind that "the project" doesn't consist of much more than a domain and a website, a forum and wiki - anything else (gitorious, issue tracker etc) are fairly de-centralized already and not really vulnerable to litigation - but the the people behind the domain and website (and other key infrastructure) are obviously addressed first, which is why Curt tends to pull the plug fairly early in such situations.
While people may not always agree with such decisions, and many may be interested in "exploring" such legal debates, it obviously IS a completely different matter once you are the person that receives cease and desist letters and other legal documents from lawyers, working for multi-billion dollar companies ordering you to comply with a deadline or face legal actions, putting your job/family etc at risk possibly.

Seems I apparently misunderstood the problem, it's not that Jundroo can't refuse the request to not use the names and logos, but simply that doing so is just not worth the effort and risk.
Though this still doesn't explain why such an important (and heavily enforced) rule is omitted from the rules page.
The only thing you're not allowed to do is use the name Honda on your title or description, so long as you don't mention the brand name on the post it won't cause any problems.
I don't get why this is even a thing though to be honest, how can user creations provide any legal ground whatsoever for suing a company? And why isn't this mentioned in the rules?

Good news! ColonelCanada has created a new variation of your plane Biplane (fixed? Maybe?). You have been automatically credited and you will receive bonus points for any points they receive.

+2This is by far my most upvoted and downloaded plane, I wonder why everyone likes it so much.

@IMFLYINHERE No worries.
@IMFLYINHERE Well the post implies you are meant to type "yes", so I typed "no" as a joke.
@IMFLYINHERE Well, you're the one who replied "didn't ask" to a joke.
@IMFLYINHERE You don't have to, it's on the house.

@IMFLYINHERE Okay...? No idea why you felt like sharing that here but alright.
@ZeroWithSlashedO Alright, thanks.
@ColonelCanada Eh, not a big fan of WW1/2 planes.

@ColonelCanada Well it's what I was doing before as well, but at this point I've spent all the creativity I'll ever have in my entire life.

Maybe you should change that title, it's not really all that accurate.
@Rework Yeah, but your comment implied he had to delete his alt, he just needs to remove the upvote he gave himself.
+1@Rework Having multiple accounts is allowed, upvoting your own stuff with them is not.

@HuskyDynamics01 Yeah but shouldn't the brand's usage here fall under fair use due to being user created, non-profit content?
@Rework Rickroll was already uploaded by someone else, so I went with plan b.
