  • What Plane Should I Build Next? (+Update) 5 months ago

    First of all, congrats! I can only imagine how hard it was to get accepted at the Uni. And second of all, here are some pretty obscure planes that I think would be really cool if you made them:
    •PWS M-8 (A polish light bomber or strike plane)
    •Boulton Paul Ovestrand (British medium bomber)
    •de Havilland Albatross (British transport plane, but you could try making a bomber version)
    •AT-9 Jeep (American trainer with some pretty nasty handling)

    And last of all but not least,
    •Fokker F.26 (German concept passenger jet, I know it doesn’t fit any of the requirements, but it’s such a cool and obscure plane that I had to include it)

    @LieutenantSOT Ayyyy, you’re back! No problems man, sorry if I bothered you a bit too much, and thank you!

  • Korean War Specifications Challenge! [CLOSED] 11 months ago

    @LieutenantSOT It’s ok, hope you sort things out. I don’t think I’m gonna post the second plane, as it’s very incomplete and I don’t have the motivation to finish it in time, but I think the Plunderer is enough anyway

    Hey @DeezDucks, sorry for bothering you once again, but could you make this aircraft a sucessor to this challenge, pretty please?

    Hey @LieutenantSOT ! Like with the last challenge, I plan on making 2 planes, however, I'm having quite a lot of delays, so my apologies if I can't submit my entries on time or if they end up rushed

    Hey @LieutenantSOT, is it okay if I use a post-war livery? I’m making an american aircraft in use by the french (because I was too lazy to make US markings), which didn’t use the aircraft until after the war

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo one year ago

    Hey @LieutenantSOT! Sorry for bothering you again, I just wanna let you know that I updated the XML to meet the requirements a little better

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo 1.1 years ago

    Also, one last question @LieutenantSOT, what did you think of the gear? Was it too weak or too bouncy? Because I had a lot of trouble tuning it to be more realistic, and with feedback from the work I’ve done here, I can improve even more my next landing gear

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo 1.1 years ago

    @LieutenantSOT Oooh, what a nice grade! The main thing I was worried about was the speed of this thing since I couldn’t make it go any faster, and I’ll admit that the main engine is a bit over the limit, but it’s definitely not 20,000 lbf unless my sucky skills at math striked again, I reduced power through the max throttle at InputController as to make the engine guzzle less fuel, and if I’m not mistaken, it also reduces power the same way powerMultiplier does. Anyways, that doesn’t matter anymore since my next entry will be mixed propulsion, which is guaranteed to meet the requirements this time.

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo 1.1 years ago

    @LieutenantSOT Oh alright, take your time then

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo 1.1 years ago

    @LieutenantSOT You ok?

  • Nakajima Ki-202 Goryo 1.1 years ago

    @LieutenantSOT Alright, nice! And don’t worry, my next entry will be the american plane I promised

  • 1946 Specifications Challenge! [CLOSED] 1.2 years ago

    Hello! Don’t wanna bother you again, but could you please revise the max thrust rule? Even though it’s realistic, I find it quite hard to make the build meet the airspeed requirement without getting rid of most drag, which in turn makes the build unrealistic (too much climb rate, no loss of speed when turning and diving too quickly).

  • 1946 Specifications Challenge! [CLOSED] 1.2 years ago

    @TheSonOfThunder Alright, thanks!

    Hey! I’m building 2 pure jets, however, I’m planning on making one of them Japanese as an opponent to my US jet, would you be ok with that? (The Jap one will meet all requirements)
