When making vehicles and aircraft, I just use the Dummy part. It’s now available in the build menu, so you have to download it from the website by just searching “dummy.” Then save it as a subassembly and you can use it for scaling. Or alternatively you can view the info for how large the vehicle is, and just use estimates for how big individual parts are by seeing how big they are in proportion to the rest of the vehicle.
Too simple to do what? Have a bunch of planes fight each other in team deathmatch? They’ll just be aggressive but with targeting priority towards the enemy team. @BlackBoA
What I propose doesn’t require much processing power at all. It’s simply replacing a part with a newly generated one based on the shape of the old part and surfaces it is attached to. @Noname918181
What I like to do if I want to increase survivability is have multiple layers of parts. Not merged parts because that makes no sense and because it doesn’t work as intended, but rather stacking parts. Like making a sandwich by vertically stacking three wings. This has proven effective for me, however it dampens performance if one wing is destroyed.

Here’s a tip: Small & medium jet engines are terrible, stick with propellers because they are lighter with less consumption, allowing for virtually increased speed. Place wings as far to the front as possible and try to keep them relatively thin for smoother control. Frontal engines are easier to work with. More speed often means less maneuverability. Transforming planes are always awesome.
I like the concept of a stripped down fighter with no bells and whistles that is designed do overwhelm enemies with their sheer numbers, but I wouldn't imagine this concept working due to the aircraft's inferior maneuverability to a typical jet and how recoil from the guns can shake the aircraft. Encountering these probably wouldn't be like seeing a death swarm in front of you, but more like seeing a bunch of chickens ready for slaughter.
Is the CoT far below the CoM? Also, maybe the CoM isn't far enough in front. Or maybe you just have too much pitch or lift.
Did you set your physics to High?
Is this about your Myriagon? If so, the answer could be to just make your plane longer to fix the problem and give it better performance.
Da cool plane design. Beautiful planes always reach the top rated in a week, and the newest uploads are constantly checked. I know all of this by exploring the newest uploads myself and saw how cool designs always have a lot of upvotes, whereas the designs adjacent to them have little to no upvotes. Creators of these often pump out new uploads regularly, quickly collecting upvotes and followers.
Build guns and fuselages rotators that are controlled by the trim and VTOL. What I do is have a hinge rotator on top of a normal rotator, with a wing and some wing guns along with a camera attached to it. As for the glass ball seen on every turret, don't attach it to the rotators. Attach it to the fuselage and then attach the turret itself onto the fuselage, but have it meshed with the ball.
Make the plane symmetrical and put the CoT in front of the both the CoM and CoL. If this doesn't work with a single-engined plane, just put two engines on opposite sides.
I'd say the unlucky ones face them, considering how they seem to be superior in maneuverability to every jet entered so far, including mine with its big wings.
Most people download the hottest and top rated aircraft, and those aircraft all start in the Newest section. They get popular because of how appealing the thumbnails are to the eye. Chances are, dozens or maybe even hundreds of people have seen the unpopular designs, but never bothered to look at them.
Indeed.

What I’d do is just have the flaps set halfway between the start and end by default.
Maybe changing the rate of fire on each cannon? It would make sense mathematically, but I haven’t tested it in game.
I’ve always liked creating fictional designs vaguely based on existing ones.
@Tiseth thanks bro imma do that on future vehicles
Not without some additional code. How hard could it be for a programmer to make AI ignore a another AI? @BlackBoA
Then it wouldn’t be viable for your tablet. But it would be viable for most devices. @TheMachinist

The thing about enemy aircraft should just be in general. Not everything should always be green.
I love him

I believe so, as it is simply replacing an existing part with a new one based on the shape of the part and what surfaces it’s attached to. @exosuit
The flight mechanics used for building aren’t exactly simple @BACconcordepilot
I don’t think it uses Unity. It seems to use no Unity assets and uses actual flight algorithms and its own unique building mechanics. @Looney
Here’s what I’m describing for anyone confused about the imagery. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/zlnZUt/for-my-recent-forum-post
Very nice, stable craft. If I were to change it, I would make the ailerons farther out to improve roll. But the rest is pretty good!

When’s i tested it after first making it, the AI refused to turn it. And this was made before helicopter blades were added. @JediWolf
Hmmmmmm @Tarquez
Rebels? Territory? Yeah, right. @JediWolf
God I hate this
Ok I did upload this
Very often if not always, tanks had multiple gunners. A turret crew and machine gunners were often separate people.

Just use structural wings to make up most of the proposed wings. Only use wings with control surfaces where there's a control surface to be applied.
Eh, I only had a chance against the people who just started plane design and instantly started this challenge.
It was relatively easy, to be vague. @FireDrake
gunshots
I was referring to a couple years back when they changed it to 8, when I didn't even have an account. @DemonSniper8
The gear is connected to them via a piston. The piston is the problem. I can't have it extended by default. @Tw1st3dPs7ch0
This only happens with jets. I've never seen prop planes randomly roll.
Just put it down as soon as you spawn. There isn't really a means of getting where it's down by default. @Tw1st3dPs7ch0

No, I use iOS @BlackhattAircraft
