@V My thoughts exactly! There's so many new things that could be added, but there's also a bunch of small things that need to be fixed, tweaked, and updated first.
@Kangy Yeah, there's quite a few things that would need a sequel since they'd break existing builds. And with the designer UI, I don't think it should be the same as Juno's (which I also have some quibbles with), but there are a few parts that could definitely be cleaned up and streamlined.
For the most part (until you get into stuff like PIDs and however people do fancy stuff with labels), it's pretty easy. The official funky guide is a very good resource to learn the basics of FT (and even more complex stuff), so I'd recommend you start there.
Sounds like you don't have enough lift. Check the wing loading, if it's too high, you'll need to add more wing area to compensate for the weight of the plane. For a biplane with that speed, I'd recommend a wing loading of probably 5-6 pounds per square foot, but you might need more or less depending on how it flies. For reference, the Stearman 75 goes about 80 km/h faster, and has a wing loading of 7-8 pounds per square foot.
Finally decided to pick up Juno after waving back and forth for a few months, and so far I can safely say I'm quite confused. BUT, it's the good "I've never played this before and this is all very complicated" kind of confused. Great work as always, guys!
(Although I'm sure trying to "un-learn" a bunch of SP stuff that is probably literally etched into my brain at this point is going to be fun XD)
The T3000 is the most efficient, from purely a thrust-output-to-fuel-consumption standpoint. However, it is probably worth noting that it is not the engine with the highest thrust (obviously), or the engine with the lowest fuel consumption rate.
Unless your landlord and roommate are both frequent users of this site, I would recommend contacting them in person (or via telephone, email, or other more direct methods), rather than posting something without context to a site for a relatively niche videogame.
The default #FFFFFFxx color (the last two are the Alpha, or how transparent/opaque it is) for the exhaust is kind of pinkish orange instead of white. Generally the best way is to fiddle around with the hex code until you get the color you want (I'd start by trying, I don't know, CCFFDD and see if that's any closer to what you want).
Depends on the kind of hover system you're looking for. One way to do it is to just scale wheels so that they're oval-shaped, and then just hide them in the body of the vehicle. They'll still behave the same but they won't be visible. This method is good for stuff like sci-fi landspeeders and general "things that hover a few feet off the ground but don't really 'fly'".
Otherwise your best bet is some combination of jet engines, gyroscopes, and Funky Trees code (if you want more control and/or "real" flying).
Once again... The reason that mods are no longer supported on iOS/Android is because Apple and Google have both decided to prevent "third-party" (read: player-created) code from running on their devices. Jundroo had no control over this decision, and is not responsible for the inability to support mods on iOS/Android devices.
280mph is pretty high for a takeoff speed (especially for what I'm assuming to be a subsonic aircraft). The best way to lower the speed would be to increase the wing area (since you have custom wings, I'll clarify that I mean the area of the Wing part hidden inside them, not the custom-built wings themselves).
I remember when there wasn't even a Wasp, because there weren't any weapons. There was only the Wright Isles, and the USS Tiny was the only non-player thing in the world other than the world itself. It's truly amazing how far this game has come.
(Also, your two screenshots reminded me of a GIF I made back in the 1.11 beta that's pretty much the same thing.)
@BotFinder2023 Not necessarily. All of the arcade cabinets people have done so far have just (ab)used labels for the screen, so it likely wouldn't need too many parts (unless someone decided to do it mechanically, in which case I'll call NASA and ask to borrow a spare computer)
Nobody has done it yet (though it has become kind of a meme as people like Snow make more and more complicated arcade machines). It's definitely possible in theory though.
@MRM19 Sorry, I suddenly got busy and completely forgot. (Also, I can't seem to find the post...) If you can tag me on it again I'll take a look in a few hours and get back to you.
This is a HUGE problem, and I hope that a solution is implemented fast. I've made backups of all my builds just to be prepared, and I would recommend everyone else do the same.
So I get you said you don't really care about "I never experienced this" replies, but I do have to say that I played for quite literally five straight years on iOS (on a really old iPad that could only run like 300 parts, at that), and never once encountered this problem. As (given the apparent lack of responses to your previous post regarding this issue) you seem to be the only one with the problem, I must conclude that the problem is most likely on your end.

+2I'll miss Alaska's Dash-8s for sure. They weren't the most comfortable planes but they were pretty much perfect for the routes they were on.
Only re-upload someone else's planes if you have their permission to do so.

Okay, that's really cool.

Real mature...
@XtarsAgency Okay, but... there's still no need for you to put personal communications in a public game forum like this...
This is an excellent plane! It looks fantastic, flies great, and has pretty efficient parts usage on top of all that!

+3@SONYPVM9041QM That's not how either iOS or Android work.

+2Just report them and move on.
+2I gotta vote for the house livery. Those are always good.

why is the turtledeck part of the canopy
Only if you have his permission to do so.

+1The ability to "pair" VTOL nozzles to VTOL engines (like wheels/car engines), and the ability to customize the inputs for RCS nozzles.
+2Yep, that sort of thing has been going on for a while. Report it and keep an eye out for more.
+1Can confirm, I do this too.

+1@temporaryplanetester Good point! Also, don't forget any unlisted builds you may want to keep.
+2They got a plat... something better happen fast.

I've already spread the word to a non-SP server I'm in, in case it pops up elsewhere. Everyone stay vigilant and secure.
+2A silver account appears to have just been compromised, this is definitely a very serious problem.
@temporaryplanetester Noted, I'll stop commenting stuff like "begone" on them lol.
At least this explains how there are so many.
Vanish.
Begone with thee, foul creature of the advertisements
