Simpleplanes 2 feels like it will be less liminal. Simpleplanes 1 lacks clouds and has just flat water, along with let's just say "unnatural" terrain. Now that I think about it, simpleplanes sorta gives off that same sort of vibe from stuff like that liminal space hot air balloon picture.
I feel like it feels more liminal on mobile, with pc, you have all the little islands and thingies around, and the brown pearl and kraken. Mobile feels liminal could you just imagine it as 3 islands lonely in an infinite sea, and it sorta just gives that vibe. But you mostly never think about it cause you're blowing stuff up
