Perhaps for a new rank, you could add a small graphic to the black template. Maybe a yellow/gold outline. Or a squadron patch inspired template. Idk, these are just silly ideas.@AndrewGarrison

Well just judge airplanes based off of what you tyink looks good or not. I think it would be unfair if I helped because my standards are different then yours. I think it would be more fair if you would judge them because people are trying to impress you, not me. @CaptainRex123

  • FA-18C 4.5 years ago

Aight I will admit you know far more about aerodynamic properties and aircraft physics then I do. I still can't imagine that at full pull, even an f-18 with max payload couldn't pull more then this model does at the given velocities. But, I have never once flown a real f-18, so I don't know to be sure. But I still bear the right to give criticism to builders. And to be clear I never once said his controls are crap. I try to avoid deconstructive critisicm, I didn't mean it offensively, more just that I see a bunch of models that have supposed "realistic" flight characteristics but actually fly like a brick. But hey whatevs, I honestly trust you. It sounds like you know a lot about this stuff. @ChrisPy

If you watch videos on yt of a hornet doing aerobatics, they will sometimes do as much as a near-cobra. I've seen one video of an f-18 taking off, assuming it was less then 200 mph, it was able to perform an extreme slip in the air. Basically doing a cobra. I wasn't able to achieve anything near that with this aircraft at speeds of 150 mph - 400 mph. It seems far too strict on the controls however keeping a relatively strict maneuverability at speeds above mach would be challenging as well.@ChrisPy

Wow this thing isn't nearly as manueverable as it should be. F-18 should be able to pull a tone of gs.

I still tend to struggle with float planes. And I haven't made one in a long long time, so I really can't offer much advice for them. I would suggest asking "RealSavageMan" about float planes. He's the best person I know for advice on floats. But idk. @CanadianSpitfireY2K

  • Canadair water bomber WIP 4.5 years ago

Yep no probs. Nothing personal btw. I just get tired of many people asking me to build things on their aircraft. You can tag me on an airplane and I can tell you what I think of it or what I think should be changed.@CanadianSpitfireY2K

Dude I'm sorry but I'm not repair man in sp. I have helped people recently but my job isn't to build things for people all the time. It's getting a little old. I can maybe tell you a couple things to do with your airplane though. First off, the airplane actually looks very decent as you're a lower point user. And secondly, I would make the canopy of the aircraft the same width as the body. @CanadianSpitfireY2K
