@Boeing727200F The standard was for two-way service. Normal stuff, the like. The 2m gauge was for larger, heavier loads. Stuff you can't fit on a standard gauge line. It was for large-piece shipments only (unless schedule otherwise clear), so could afford to only have one track. We wanted closer to 3m, but again, funding. That was many decades ago, of course. The next headquarters got better infrastructure as we had greater funds when constructing it.
The original Yukon HQ still has some large storage vaults, but is otherwise a rotting ghost town (see end scene of TCsoSBKwsiton) The 2m gauge rail is maintained for access in case something heavy needs to be removed. It is problematic when sabotaged as it necessitates repair, if only for the rare cases it's used.
@Boeing727200F Two standard, one broad (2m). 2m wasn't considered ideal, but budgetary constraints forced our hand.
We are and aircraft company, after all, so if it was really an issue we could probably just fly it.
Still happening, unfortunately.
@MosquitowithaMachineGun Where is that? Is that a continent?
Graingy's operations in the Tumour have as of yet been largely constrained to the Garrison Archipelago.
@MosquitowithaMachineGun As the seller you're going to need to supply diagrams. You've also said nothing of the state it would be in upon sale.
It is unwise to disuse your primary facility before its replacement is completed and found suitable, or are you saying it will be for sale?
@MosquitowithaMachineGun I need more detail than land area. What facilities? Infrastructure? What was its former output? What was it equipped to do? Final assembly or part fabrication?
Hm, that's odd. Unfortunate, I consider them a friend. At least as much as somebody can be a friend on a site like this.
They don't seem the sort to do anything too bad, though I can imagine they may have let their filter fail and said something to somebody they shouldn't have. That's just my theory, at least.
@MosquitowithaMachineGun Edge of where? If it's in the Tumour then we'll probably pass, at least to any major extent. We try to keep most of our large production capacity within Universe-1.
@WinsWings I poked fun at @TheMouse a few weeks ago (whose pfp had broken during a hiatus) by using HTML to change their black one to mine, and sending them a screen clip.
Few days later they imitated the Graingy logo, then asked others to do the same. It was a meme. I think it’s finally lost its steam, though.
My folder has like 40 of them, but numerous alternates by people who changed their design or upgraded it to the better template. Mouse’s had a few issues.
I'm not touching this.
+1Cobrastan, Cobrastan...
+1@LunarEclipseSP was that yours, or am I misremembering? It's been a while since that name has crossed my mind.
@MosquitowithaMachineGun I see. Licensing sounds complicated. I will pass this up to the Brass, but I am certain no action will be taken.
