@32 @Nerfaddict It was an April Fools event poking fun at World of Tanks.
They shot potatoes or carrots and were powered by bicycles IIRC.
It was before I started (and, of course, stopped) playing, so I've only heard of it.
@SichuanOkamoto No don't listen to them
Burn off your nerve endings with blowtorch before committing to any tomfoolery trust me I am medical professional
@DatMaluchGuy19 yeah.
I know better than to ask to be unblocked. It’s a breach of the rules, as I understand it.
And I don’t want to name anybody, since that seems like it’d count as “causing drama” or however the rules phrase it.
But it still sucks.
I’d at least like the chance to apologize.
I don’t like making enemies.
I’ve only blocked 4 accounts.
2 were bots, of which only maybe one commented on my own post (the other may have been the first bot I’d seen/identified as such. It was a while ago).
Another was DaddysTruck1234. No explanation needed.
The outer was XEP, because they were generally behaving poorly a while back. I haven’t seen them misbehave in a while, though (possibly because people learned to stop complaining about them), and they’ve made a few funny things, so I’d be willing to unblock them. Issue is, there isn’t a button to do that for some reason.
Maybe I’m the exception when it comes to block features.
… similar to bans, blocks feel like… how do I put this…
Like… calling tanks out on protestors, as funny as it may sound. Yes, yes, I know, silly airplane game is very different to massacres of civilians, no crap, but to the person sending the tanks it’s to get a nuisance away. Crush them, ignore and move on. Don’t have time to deal closer.
Of course, to be crushed isn’t just another Tuesday.
Applies more to bans than blocks tbh.
I respect the mods here, but I feel like I’m walking on eggshells.
I really don’t want to be banned because I ended up being that thing which was one too many. Because moderators, as far as I know, aren’t volunteers. They’re busy and don’t have time to carefully work out disputes.
… I’m getting side tracked.
Point is, it sucks and I wish people were a bit less trigger happy with the feature.
@Majakalona We must now wait and see what will become of Italy...
!But!
We must remember to not interfere, for we are clad in Gold.

That was, after all, the year I started playing.
Sure, I got it in 2016 but that's like saying the USSR formed in '22 and broke up in '91. It formed the day before New Year's Eve and broke up the day after Christmas. More of a technicality, really.
@IceCraftGaming The most upvoted is that old P-51 that can't take off.
Surprisingly once in the air it can actually kinda fly, if you can work out the ancient control scheme.
@MRM19 Oh boy, let's hope someone doesn't misinterpret this...
I think this issue is similar to arguments over LGBT representation/pride. NOW! I am NOT calling you a homophobe, I'm not drawing a parelel to being a furry and being LGBT in and of itself (well, not really. Wouldn't be surprised if more LGBT were drawn to the community in search of, well, community), I'm just comparing the general cycle of "Getting bullied -> pushes back -> gets under people's skin, including those who otherwise don't car -> makes more bullies and used as fuel by bullies".
Once again, they are different, but I think the whole "show/not show" issue is very similar. Of course, being a furry is a choice while being LGBT is just yet another one of nature's little screw-ups, like blue eyes. Inconsequential (except from an individual's evolutionary standpoint), but nevertheless present (or, in asexuals' case, a genuine improvement).
This post was made by a person who's a furry (and most probably LGBT too, judging by the pfp. Input from the poster would be appreciated in case I got something wrong). They are not stealthy with it. This post is making noise in an attempt to call out people getting worked up over a generalization (yes, the over-sexualizing area of the community is absolutely a problem, but it paints a "this person is a horny degenerate" target on every member's back. Same with LGBT).
People who may have not even thought for more than a moment about the issue see this and think "Man, these guys don't shut up. They're literally the ones putting it out there in the first place!" thus helping out the overreactors.
... I'm losing track of my own thoughts. None of this was proofread, if it wasn't clear.
Anyways, whenever you see a pride event, especially a parade, it will inevitably attract some sort of negative attention of this sort. Even in a tolerant area, some people are sure to think to themselves!
I am, admittedly, the same. I have a sort of live-and-let-live policy, at least to the point of equal treatment under equal circumstances (i.e. treat a gay person and a straight person the same, unless under very specific circumstances), but seeing a pride event?
It... does bug me, deep down. Mostly because it inevitably comes with a more generally liberal social attitude, especially towards the encouragement of sexuality in general, because apparently the only options are conservative and liberal.
