@YarisSedan Uh, wow. Haven't seen that yet, though I've exclusively played on my own servers.
I get blown up randomly too much for no reason for me to willingly hand over the Kick power.
Reap what you sow and all that. Bastards.
@YarisSedan Server names, yes. Some words in public servers, aways (such as the N-word).
Should be optional for public servers to censor swears (e.g. fuck, shit, etc.). After all, the site has some leniency for them anyways.
Private servers are just that, private, so forcing in censorship seems... unnecessary. It's a closed system anyways.
If people are going to be disgusting shitbags in a private SP2 server, putting in a filter isn't going to stop them. Waste of effort.
Out of curiosity, where do you find this? Openning up craft files? AFAIK there's currently no way to actually see XML attributes. Hopefully they'll port Overload before long.
@CatdogAerospace It's almost like one of my most played games, which I've invested considerable time into, is no longer working properly and is extremely unpleasant to play in the best of times.
Um. Not great.
Game sluggish, stuff constantly exploding. Could just be too many people, I dunno. Always had the part count limited anywhere from 300 to 500 on the servers I started. Load times slowed over the play session.
Laptop is a Victus. A few years old, some sort of gen 13 i5, 16gb ram, and some sort of NVidia GPU. "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU" to quote Task Manager. HOWEVER!
I've been having an issue with another game the day I downloaded the SP2 demo. When I later played War Thunder the framerate was, and remains, absolutely terrible. Incredibly jittery, genuinely feels terrible. It got slightly better after restarting my computer (with it plugged in from the start), but feels like it has gotten worse again today. What's odd is that it seems to be just WT, and the FPS counter says everything is normal.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if the SP2 demo somehow messed up my computer's ability to play games overall I am going to commit an unfriendly action against those responsible. Most likely a scathing review, but as it goes, innocent until proven guilty. It could be anything.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover From what I've heard cannons are incredibly unrealistic, with tiny cannons having absurd damage and, IIRC, calibre does not matter.
Guns of course just subtract health.
The entire damage system needs to be overhauled. It's rather a weak point in the game as it stands.
@OneEyedMedic Perhaps.
Thought I stand by my belief that weapons are too powerful, at least for the current damage model.
Well, sort of.
In between War Thunder and SimplePlanes, I'm going to assume the former is a more realistic depiction of weapon power overall, in which case SP weapons are far more powerful than they should be.
@Ashdenpaw1 Yeah. When everything gets tag lists, nothing does. They should be reserved for special things, or things people actually voiced interest in. Only time I use tag lists are on teasers and short stories, the former being craft-specific and the latter rare.
@OneEyedMedic How did you get the water physics to work? My boats were very unstable, though perhaps that was due to size. Or being built with the flat water of SP1 in mind (thus often internally being pontoons). A small boat was entirely unusable.
I find the lock times all being the same more annoying. Some missiles are supposed to have long lock times as part of their balancing. Kinda weird to remove that.
Have you had an issue where inputs don't work after closing chat until mouse joystick is used? Especially annoying that mouse joystick can't be inverted.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover I'm convinced that explosives and weapons in general are far too powerful. A bomb anywhere near you will completely wreck everything in the area. That's to say nothing of getting randomly blown up by passing dogfighters.
Perhaps health should automatically scale with size so large planes aren't so vulnerable to a couple bullets?
As much as you need to.
Jokes aside, try to climb a bit more naturally. Draw people in by having something interesting, not by constantly bringing them in after they sign a contract.
@SuperSuperTheSylph Boeing also seems to have added some pixels.
For the record, I do not want anyone else contributing to my drawing East of everything. I want that to me 100% me.
@YarisSedan Uh, wow. Haven't seen that yet, though I've exclusively played on my own servers.

@LunarEclipseSP I dunno, I basically just use the follow feature to keep easy links to important accounts. I don't care so much about Jet Stream.
+1@V I don't follow?
It seems to start out running well, but gets worse and worse over time as a server stays open.
+1@CatdogAerospace To get past 1% green you have to kill someone.
SupremeDorian killed someone.
@CatdogAerospace It's almost like one of my most played games, which I've invested considerable time into, is no longer working properly and is extremely unpleasant to play in the best of times.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover Not if it's not possible
1.5 years, roughly. Not 3.
@Randomplayer Damn, didn't realize you were that old.
No way it's been that long...
When was SP2 announced?
@SuperSuperTheSylph The notification. Never saw it.
+1Never realised this one was backwards...
CPU is "13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13420H" to again quote (manually) Task Manager.
+1Very annoying how that text can't be copy-pasted.
Um. Not great.

@TheUltimatePlaneLover those are very complicated and vehicle specific though. Also those wouldn’t account for overlapping parts and non-aircraft.
@Randomplayer Damn, never realized your account was that old. How long have I known you anyhow?
@Randomplayer Evil
@SuperSuperTheSylph Strange, never saw this comment?
+1@Randomplayer Your
@fffzzension What?
@Kazin Do it for the Vine.
@Kazin lick your stovetop
@Kazin Eh close enough.
Prefer the Inferno myself, though.
@StopBreathingMyAir ?
@Kazin So like the alertness equivalent of hellfire?

@Kazin Damn. That's a lot.
Also new PFP jumpscare
As much as you need to.
+3Jokes aside, try to climb a bit more naturally. Draw people in by having something interesting, not by constantly bringing them in after they sign a contract.
@Kazin Hm. How many hours of play time?
@SuperSuperTheSylph It's on the filling phase now.
+1@Ashdenpaw1 holy shit Hilted 2 real1?!?!??!?!
@Ashdenpaw1 You must reject those who only hold you down.
You must curate the court of your life.
Meanwhile what's being said at the scene
@Kazin What compelled you to return?
@Ashdenpaw1 d
@Ashdenpaw1 Ironically he was actually Thirsty Jack. Lake had shit in it.
You must test its mettle.
@SuperSuperTheSylph Boeing also seems to have added some pixels.

@CapitanianMonarch Whippersnapper
Only the first three of those tags will work btw
guh
@Boeing727200F Process is, however.
@Ashdenpaw1 Is Hungry Jack some sort of traitorous former member of the Burger King's court?
Are you Hungry Jack?
