@Thebite1234567 Yes, we all start from somewhere. Yet how we start from that somewhere is the question. Take time and effort to see other great challenges as examples first. And we will not do this for the chance of just one upvote.
@Hg1yt I am not reading all the comments to keep track of the entries. Sorry. You can tag a moderator like eternaldarkness on your post and request to change the auto credit so that the predecessor is this post. Also, if there are enough entries, there will be user categories so that you will only compete with fellow bronze users.
No yaw, too nose heavy, overkill acceleration, and flaps do nothing
Innovation - 20/30
So, a cool cap sun shade, but its structural integrity at high speed is another question. Also, the way you use the reverse thrust engine in decoration is interesting.
Design - 10/25
The fuselage is too boxy, the lights are incorrect, no custom wing, and the reverse thrust exhaust does not come out the inlet.
@nightmarecorporation you know, that's impossible. If I make a backyard ultralight today, you wouldn't know what it is and what it's called. Plus, you'd also have to name every single RC plane and heli ever lol
@ParziParziTheVal They do. Most twins do because if they spin in opposite directions, they will have to make what is essentially two different engines, since they'd have to be mirrored. Check out this video of an engine start, and skip to 0:25 and 1:10 to see which way the props on this Dash 8 spin.
The only exception I know of is the Airbus A400M. It is an advanced military quad turboprop cargo plane that have the engines on each engine spin toward each other. This is done so that the plane feels more like Airbus's jetliners and to increase the plane's reliability.
@Mandanbb8099 Mods are community-made alterations to the stock game. Don't confuse them with the moderators, who look after the website and are users with red badges that say Mod. Most players (including me) don't play with mods for the most part, and mobile users don't even have access to them. Therefore, to ensure fairness I am not allowing them with the exception of Fine Tuner and Overload, which have recently been added into the game for everyone.
@KnightOfRen lol I am entering this in your challenge. I hope this is up to your standard, since this is my most part count build. Yet even with this part count, there is basically no aesthetic detail here. I mean, I think this is one of my builds that didn't gain enough recognition for what it's worth. Also, you might be aware that I use custom thumbnails now. I made this on iOS before 1.10, and custom thumbnails were impossible on mobile before then because of lack of mod support. I hope you will wait a bit before you grade this thing because I will add to the description soon with some more detail and a photo gallery.
As a final note, I made this before 1.5k. Even though it wasn't that long ago, I did have lower standards back then. P.S. Since the competition is not that great, I hope I win. I think following will serve me well and I desperately need another follower. I don't really care about the 10 upvotes at this point since it only gets me 150 points. I might want it more if it gave me 1500 XD P.P.S. Ignore the lack of part smoothing. I made 90% of this plane even before the 1.10 beta released. I don't think it should count as a part of design because it is not a trick you use to make the plane look smooth. You just change it with a click of a button.
@Cabbage17 I hadn't tried the plane out yet (I'm writing this during recess between these torturous online classes XD), but it is realistic if the yaw is only there when engine thrust is applied. If the drag just happens to be higher on the left, then it's an unrealistic annoyance. You can probably simulate this if you put a hidden engine on the right side of the plane.
Also, FYI real GA planes correct for the torque by installing a fixed trim tab that automatically yaws to the right and installing the engine props off center and tilted sideways to the left. This corrects for the amount of torque with cruise speed and power, so you actually have to rudder yaw left at lower angles of attack and thrust setting. The opposite is also true, especially during taxi and takeoff roll (while taxiing, although the thrust setting is low, the rudder has almost no authority and thus is unable to correct). This is a simplified version of what I know as a student GA pilot, and I suggest you pin this lol NOTE: as far as I know, even lighter twins have the same effect, unless the props spin in opposite directions, in which case the two props counters the p-factor torque of the other engine. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@ihateairbusa330
You divide the wings into "sections" of fuselages, put hinges between the sections, and connect the wing sections to the hinges. Then set the input to "Disabled", and set the range of motion to 0. You then scale down the stock wing you hide in the custom wing and nudge it to the edge of the wing (This makes the physics engine think the wings are really far from the plane but it doesn't collide with anything) and connect that scaled down stock wing to the tip of the custom wing. The wing will now flex as the hidden stock wing creates more lift, lifting the wing.
@ParziParziTheVal
Here it is. As evident below, I am asking for a successor to your challenge and it should be a successor soon. Enjoy!
I added gear doors lol
It is forbidden to use it for secondary creation without permission
The rules says:
It is okay to download someone else's airplane, make some tweaks, and re-upload a new variation.
In fact, the original designer may even receive bonus points.
However, if your variation does not offer any improvements over the existing airplane, then it may be removed.
If you are circumventing the predecessor/successor system, then you will be banned. Never upload a successor as an original design; give credit to the designer of its predecessor.
@Cabbage17 ur welcome. But the whole reason for the upvote is for me to thank you, not vice versa. Also pls son’s tag me just for the upvote. It clogs your comments, and you can get banned under the new mass tagging rules lol
@Lixcuudis no. You just have to replicate all the cool features of the plane you replicate, and find new ways to build things. You will be docked if you build the same old way that already exists in many iterations, and have no custom and/or interactive features.
@EternalDarkness thank you!
@KnightOfRen lol
If you don’t know, I’m on my discord server more now as I somehow got banned from spbc :(
@EternalDarkness I want to enter this in a challenge. Please make this a predecessor if possible
@KnightOfRen The mods are not listening and still did not make this a successor. I'm sorry. I'll try to get them to help now XD

+1@Thebite1234567 Really?
I suggest you put some more effort into this next time. Challenges like this are unacceptable.
If you are entering, please upvote this comment so I can get a count of those entering. Thank you

According to the mods, not grading for two weeks is punishable for point farming

@KnightOfRen thank you for the spotlight!
@KnightOfRen Thank you! lol I thought people hate me these days bc of my greed and my laziness and my pointless and boring forum posts
@Cabbage17 Also, I think you're the best comedian on SP

@Cabbage17 how do you simulate p-factor? Or is this a coincidence lol
+1@ParziParziTheVal ok lol
@ParziParziTheVal Oh no you graded my temporary description.....
@Eternaldarkness can u pls remove the underscores from this guy's name? tagging him is hard lol
@ihateairbusa330

@ParziParziTheVal hi lol
Here it is.
@UtsuhoReiuji lol
@Blue0Bull please make this a successor of this
Thanks!
Yes I am nearly at 3.5k lol
That’s 1.5k in just under 3 months
It’s not that hard
@ParziParziTheVal
Here it is. As evident below, I am asking for a successor to your challenge and it should be a successor soon. Enjoy!
I added gear doors lol
@Blue0Bull
Hi. Please make this a successor of
g70H5blink hereThank you.
@UtsuhoReiuji good advice lol
Thank you so much!
@Xml_ Thank you.
The rules says:
@Xml_
No u
+1@Jake_ ok
@ParziParziTheVal as long as it can land on both land and water. Also, for bonus points, get me a floating tow plane/winch lol
@PapaKernels I am working on a 787 with @ParziParziTheVal which I may or may not enter.
@Cabbage17 ur welcome. But the whole reason for the upvote is for me to thank you, not vice versa. Also pls son’s tag me just for the upvote. It clogs your comments, and you can get banned under the new mass tagging rules lol
+1@JOEMAMA07 we need higher upvote prizes
@FireFast212 I just noticed I have more points than you now XD
@FireFast212 lol
@yodudechase we need another A340 on the site
@ParziParziTheVal ok lol
Well, my post stall plane is already STOL enough
@ParziParziTheVal I'll just tilt engines 89.9° then lloooollllll
@Lixcuudis no. You just have to replicate all the cool features of the plane you replicate, and find new ways to build things. You will be docked if you build the same old way that already exists in many iterations, and have no custom and/or interactive features.
